James Lord of Lord Roofing went above and beyond my expectations. The crew was incredibly skilled, and they installed a beautiful and functional new roof. But it wasn't just about the quality of work. They kept me informed, explaining what they were doing and how long things would take. I had expected that there would be plywood sheeting under the old roof, but that turned out to be incorrect. When the old roof came off most of it needed additional plywood, there was also dry rot in places that needed some carpentry work James took care of fixing them for me without any hassle. They cleaned up the job site meticulously every day, there were a lot of nails and debris from the old roof that they picked up, leaving my property spotless. Overall, Lord Roofing provided a truly exceptional experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional roofing company. One note that I feel is important: Skilled workers are hard to find and probably harder to keep. I received the quote in August, and James estimated the start date to be a few months later, around October. However, they did not start until November. My roof took longer to complete than was expected due to having to sheet the entire house with plywood and of course in November the weather was a bit of a problem. This meant that anyone scheduled after me would be delayed by a few weeks. James could have rushed the crew and potentially compromised on quality to get done sooner but he didnâ t. Be patient. These guys work tremendously hard, and they don't cut corners. It's impossible for them to know exactly how long the ten jobs ahead of you will take, but waiting is worth it to get a quality roof that you expect to last 30 or 40 years.

Great customer care! I had my shake roof replaced with a composite and they did a beautiful job. A couple months later a nail started backing out, I called and is was fixed the next day! Highly recommend Lord Roofing.

We have recommended Lord Roofing to all of our friends & family. We had a great experience for a skylight repair, a roof repair, and a roof replacement. It all started with a leaky skylight, which Lord Roofing repaired during the rainy season a couple of years ago. James (the owner) was quick to respond to the call, and came up with a fast solution that stopped the leak and kept us from needing costly drywall repairs. We then had a roof leak at the other side of the house. James was again fast to respond and provided a quick and cost effective repair which got us through the rainy season, and again avoided costly drywall repairs. We bought our home knowing that the roof was at the end of its life, so it was no surprise that we were having issues. We contacted multiple roofers and got quotes for a roof replacement. Lord Roofing was the second lowest quote that we received. The lowest number was too low based one our experience in re-roofing other homes that we had owned in the past. This, coupled with our recent experience made Lord Roofing an easy choice. James had performed a thorough inspection of our existing roof to determine whether or not the sheeting could be reused (it could, which saved us a lot of money). The process of replacing the roof was easy. James discussed options for types of roofing, and once we made a decision on the material he provided samples. Lord Roofing scheduled the work. Due to demand, we were scheduled out a couple of months into mid-summer, and they actually were able to get to us a few days sooner than anticipated. The entire Lord Roofing crew worked in a safe and professional manner. They made us aware of where they would be on the roof, so there was never an issue with the safety of our family. They also cleaned up on a daily basis, this was great because it helped to keep down dust from accumulation of debris. Lord Roofing finished the work ahead of schedule and at the cost of the original quote. Our new roof looks great and we no longer have any issues with leaks. As I stated at the beginning of this review, we have recommended Lord Roofing to all of our friends & family. They are a great company, and James is a fair & ethical person.

Roofing contracting is a racket. $400/hour to take some tiles out and scrape off the dirt?!!!! In Lord Roofing's defense, another contractor was even more expensive.

Mr. Lord and his crew are all knowledgable and professional. Mr. Lord has several crew members who are specialists in their fields and they all work together as a team to get the job professionally completed. I have future plans in mind and will be contacting Mr. Lord. I'm very pleased.

Quality workmanship, professional & diligent, owner James Lord was continuously on-site with his hard working, friendly, competent crew. Lord Roofing installed a torch-down roof on our home & garage, and asphalt shingles on our shed. I highly recommend this reliable company, which flawlessly completed our project, including necessary dry-rot repairs, on schedule.

I called James out to repair a leak that another company said they had fixed. He inspected the area, took pictures for my reference and gave me his thoughts on the items needing repair. He was very honest stating that he couldn't guarantee the repair because he couldn't find any obvious sign of a leak and that he would correct everything he found that wasn't right. He and his worker arrived on the agreed on day and time and got right to work. They completed the repairs in less then 4 hours, cleaned up the area and left. James was very friendly, professional and efficient. He charged what he had estimated and left me the additional tiles. We've had 3 storms since the repair and no leaks! I would not hesitate to recommend James to anyone needing their roof repaired.
