Description of Work: Although Petra did not do the work for me, I wanted to give a quick review. I was looking for a "handyperson" and found her name in Band of Neighbors. When I called her, she got back to me right away. Unfortunately, she focuses on painting, rather than handy-person type of work. But I was impressed with her demeanor on the phone. She was professional and personable. If I ever need painting, I will be giving her a call.

Description of Work: Petra provided consultation on the appropriate paint colors to use and then she painted the entire inside of my house. She looked over my landscape scheme and suggested and installed a few excellent changes.

Description of Work: This gal does it all! Today she disassembled all six of my floor fans and cleaned them thoroughly and then she trimmed the bougainvillea hedge surrounding my grounds. She has cut the grass and RAKED (Does not use one of those diabolical blower machines) and swept the entire property. In the past she has washed all of my windows and screens, inside and out. She washed my car, cut the grass, pruned the roses and fertilized and aerated all the flower beds. She has picked my fruit trees for me. She has assembled all of my dozen or so Ikea, Home Depot, Amazon and Big Lots furniture and lamp purchases. She has done touch-up painting inside the house and closets and helped me hang pictures and posters without damaging the walls. She has done dusting, vacuuming, washing and waxing floors, Laundry, and Carpet Shampooing for me. She has helped me pack, move and then organize all my "stuff." I truly can't remember all the projects that she has completed for me, or helped me complete - And all done with a meticulous attention to detail and quality that is very rare to find in today's workers (Perhaps it's because she was raised in Austria…). Basically, if you need anything done around the house - Call Petra and ask her if she can do it - At $25 an hour, you can't go wrong - She's a gem!
