Description of Work: I used Just Like Magic Maid Service about two months ago.

Description of Work: Just Like Magic came for their bi-weekly cleaning service, including the kitchen, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors.

Description of Work: Just Like Magic has cleaned my condo for several years. They do a complete job, from ceiling to floor in all the rooms in the house. They also help when I have some special needs, like moving heavy things and putting things away. I really like their attitude and willingness to help.

Description of Work: Full Housekeeping - dust and polish furniture, wash and/or vacumn floors, clean kitchen including oven and refrigerator and outside of cabinets, will wash dishes if any in sink, bathroom tub, shower, mirrors, toilet, sinks, change bed linens, will do inside of windows if asked. Vacumn furniture, dust all lamps and artwork, empty and remove all trash.

Description of Work: I've used this service a half a dozen times. Quality is good, especially the first few times. The price keeps changing without any previous discussion. That has nothing to do with the maids but the owner.

Description of Work: I called the owner of the company, explained what I wanted done, the size of the house, the amount of rooms, and specifically what services I wanted performed. Which included exterior window washing on a 3 story house and he said they had the equipment to do the work. We agreed that it would be a four hour job at $65 per hour. When they arrived, I walked them around the house and took them outside to show them the windows I wanted done. The workers said they didn't have the equipment to do that work. I called the owner and he said that he didn't know that was what I wanted to have done. He said they normally take the windows out of the building and clean them even though he said he had extension poles for the work, so he was lying to me on the phone. We agreed to proceed with the interior of the house and have the exterior windows done the following week. I left them at 3:30 in the afternoon to do the interior cleaning. I returned from dinner at 7:45 and the cleaning people were still working, they said they had about 40 minutes of work still to do. It was obvious that they had stopped for lunch at some point during the work because there was a half eaten pizza in the kitchen and sodas in my fridge. They stopped work and left at about 8:30pm. They returned at about 9:20 to confirm my credit card number which I gave them. The next morning I called the owner, Randy, to confirm the amount of money he charged to my credit card and to confirm the work next week. He then informed me that he had already charged me for 6 hours of work for $390 without my approval. Immediately, I told him that was not the amount of time spent, because they were only there for 5 hours and one of those hours was a lunch break which I am not willing to pay for. At this point Randy became quite aggressive and rude on the phone, became unwilling to discuss the matter further, and hung up. I then called him back twice more informing him that I was willing to pay him for the 4 hours we had agreed to, but not the 6 hours he had charged my credit card. During both of those calls, he hung up on both occasions. I then called him back a third time, reaching his voice mail, and asked him to call me back so we can resolve the situation and he hasn't called me back.

Description of Work: I used this company twice. I have a 1300 sf house +150 sf patio. 2 bedrooms 1+1/4 bath. The first time they came, she was late by about an hour (Randy called though) to let me know that she had gotten lost. The second time they came -- she was late again, by about 1.5 hours -- but again -- I got a call from the company letting me know that. They did an EXCELLENT job the first time (4 hours -- 2 people for $260.00 -- or $65 p/h) the second time was good, too. but within the 2.5 hours that I could afford ($140.00 total + tip) they couldn't wipe down the inside of the fridge/freezer, sweep the patio, wipe down the stove top, or finish sweeping/mopping the wood floors + a host of other little things that I had to do after they left. No, they didn't do windows or laundry, but I wasn't asking or paying for that anyway. Overall, I was pleased, but the price is just a little too steep for me, especially considering that the work was really quite good, but not yet hotel/mansion quality.
