+ -1 moreLearned that Hunter Douglas shutters produce the best quality shutters at the highest price! There is a significant variance regarding quality, price, and selection. The Costco Hunter Douglas rep was by far the most knowledgeable, responsive, and patient. The discount through Costco is substantial (30-40%), and made Hunter Douglas cost LESS than inferior brands! Shutters are EXPENSIVE! If you decide to make the purchase - USE COSTCO!!!hey
Description of Work: Obtained quotes from five vendors for interior bedroom shutters. Vendors come out to the house with their massive sample books, look at the windows and take measurements. The chosen vendor (Hunter Douglas via Costco Warehouse) provided quote, requested deposit and signed contract. Shutters are custom made, took 2-3 months for delivery. Installation was VERY professional. They fitted the shutter frame over our existing window. They cleaned up any mess they made. They gave a thorough explanation and directions for use, upkeep, cleaning, warranty, etc. Both the saleswoman and installation team were outstanding.

+ -1 moreIt was a horrible experience. They made mistake after mistake. I started the process in December, but they didn't get everything taken care of until April. The crew that they used were not familiar with the blinds that I ordered. They did not install them properly. They did give me a reduction in my price due to the errors. They attempted to fix it, but it was a failure too.
Description of Work: I got some window and blind treatments from them. They came out and installed them in my home.
