We were having issues with our air conditioning unit and had Warren's come out. The a/c was occasionally cutting out and not restarting until hours later. A tech came out when it happened to be working and no problems were found. The owner, Frank, came out the next day and also couldn't diagnose the problem. He said everything checked out ok. He said we could leave the ticket open and if the problem came up again to call again and he'd get out here as soon as he could to check on things. We opted to close the ticket (paid their service charge) thinking there might be no new issues and our home warranty needed something saying it was functioning fine to cover it. But that same night it happened again! We called the first business day we could, which was about two or three business days later (my wife and I were in the hospital giving birth to our son in the interim). We called the day we came home from the hospital and given the runaround (no time to come) for three days. I finally explained our situation and that we had a newborn in a house with no a/c. Our house was getting up to 85 or 90 during the afternoon. The receptionist apparently called Frank while she put me on hold and explained the situation. No dice! I'll pencil you in for about 2 or 3 weeks down the road. No one else at the company could help us except for Frank and he didn't have time for us according the receptionist. Not sure what we did to **** Frank and/or the company off, but totally felt that they abandoned us when we really needed them! We have a little baby in the house and they wouldn't have anyone at all come out and help us! Craziest and most unprofessional service ever!!! We called another local company up and they said they'd have a tech out in about 3 or 4 hours. I'd never recommend Warren's! Call them at your own risk!

I really didn't check anywhere else. I had him do it and just paid what he wanted. Every time he said he would be here he was.

I have used Warren's Heating & Air for years, and once again they provided great customer service. My furnace would not turn on, so I called Warren's to schedule a service call. Chris arrived promptly to perform the diagnosis. Chris was very professional, patiently answering all my questions and educating me on the function of certain parts of the furnace and the possible causes of the failure. He soon discovered that the condensate line was blocked by dirt at the point where it exits the house and drains into the garden. This caused the water to back up and flood the furnace exhaust fan and the attached pressure switch. To prevent this problem from occuring again, Chris ventured under the house and rerouted the condensate line, raising it above ground level so it will never again get clogged by dirt. The pressure switch also needed to be replaced because of water damage, however the local supplier did not have the part in stock. When the owner, Frank Warren, was informed about this, he went the extra mile to obtain the part from an alternate source. My furnace was working again by the end of the day!

Everything went very well. The inspection took about 40 minutes and we discussed the age of the heater and possible solutions for a later date. The service person went above and beyond to be professional and to the point. I appreciated his honesty in explaining our issues and they didn't try to up sale needless add-ons. I will definately be using Warren Heating in the future

He was prompt in setting up a service call, came when he said, was courteous, fixed in a short period of time and instead of just replacing the burned-out fuse, he found the source of the bad fuse and took care of it.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable I'm very happy with this company and I highly recommend their services to anyone needing hvac.

Overall it went very well. They were very punctual and on time. They were a little pricey. They did the work at my rental property in CA, and the tenants said they were very nice.

Arrived on time. Was pleasant and professional. Was very thorough and explained the results of the inspection clearly.

The owner of the house did not want to go ahead with repairs, (I ama the renter) but I would use Warrens Heating and Air in the future, when I own my own home.

This was good. There was a little bit of phone tag at the beginning. The tech showed up on time and was very polite. He was also very informative about the job he was performing. He did the system check and found no issues. He was also very clean while doing the inspection. The price was also reasonable for the service.

He was very professional = outlined my options with pricing. Tried to get financing, spoke to office personnel who was extremely nice and helpful. I will use them when I am ready to do the install.

Ours is a two-story home in Manteca, built in 1992, with one furnace and A/C unit for the downstairs, and a separate furnace and A/C unit for the upstairs. For many years we have used Warrens Heating & Air Conditioning for servicing these units. Over the years, they have replaced various parts to keep these units running well. They always diagnosed and determined specifically which part was failing, and replaced only that part. They never tried to talk us into buying a new furnace or A/C unit. However, after 20 years it finally became apparent that these units had reached the end of their lives, so we decided to have both the upstairs and downstairs furnaces and A/C units replaced. They gave us a good price on some Bryant units, since we were replacing both furnaces and both A/C units at the same time. Throughout the installation process, which took a few days, the technicians/installers were friendly and professional. They took the time to answer the many technical questions we had about the new equipment. The guys worked well together and were easy to have around the house. The units were replaced in April 2013, and I am writing this review in November 2013, so we have spent our first long, hot summer with the new A/C units. They performed flawlessly. They are more efficient than the old units, and are much better than the old units at keeping the house at a steady, cool temperature. Now we are looking forward to spending a warm and cozy winter with our new furnaces!

I was very happy with their service the guys were courteous knowledgeable and honest they had the needed part on their truck installed it cleaned the system everything just fine I will surely recommend and use them again.

My AC unit was making rattling noises and an occasional high pitched squeal. It was still cooling effectively, just the sounds that were irritating and had me concerned that it was going to fail during the hottest month of the season. The technician that called spent 30 minutes asking me questions to determine the extent of the problem and explaining the possible solutions. In the end, I was given suggestions to attempt to resolve it myself without a fee or the offer for a technician to come out to assist me. Due to the age of the unit, he explained that once they opened the system and disturbed the coils, there might be a domino effect of problems to solve, possibly ending up in replacing the unit. He suggested that as long as the unit was cooling well (even in 100+ heat), that they leave it alone for the time being. He assured me that if I chose to wait, he would respond to my call immediately if the unit stopped working. It is now over 2 months later, I solved the squealing noise with a small bit of lubricant to the fan blade and I will be scheduling a full heat/AC checkup for the early November to make sure we are set for the coming year. It was nice to deal with someone so honest. They could have made $75 coming out for an appointment but instead chose to educate the consumer. Great business practice that has resulted in me referring them to other friends. The only reason for a B score for punctuality and responsiveness is that it too a few days for them to return my initial call. In their defense, the temperature was reaching highs of 110 degrees and they were very busy.

I explained what I thought the problem was. He checked all the electrical components and made sure they were to manufacture's specs. Changed my filter which was very dirty.. Was there approx one hour.. Before leaving he said that if I had anymore problems with the unit that I should give them a call.

It went well. The guys came to the house at the time I was told they be there in the morning. After I showed them where everything was, they got right to work. They got the old air conditioning unit out as well as the old furnance from the basement (which they were able to pull out and get rid of for me). They took the whole morning and most of the afternoon to get the work done, rewiring things, installing the two different parts of the system, and cleaning up afterwards (which was really nice of them). They were never in my way (and of course I stayed out of their way so they could do the work). They were ok when I asked them about how the work was going, answering my questions about the unit, etc. Overall, I was pleased with the job they did at my house.

I had purchased my house in July and and once I had moved in I noticed the air conditioner would work for a while and the the outside unit would shut down leaving the inside unit blowing warm air. I would have to go out to the main electrical panel to reset the breakers. I called Warrens Heating and Air and the tech came out promptly at the time of the scheduled appointment. He looked over everything and then traced the problem back to a bad module in the main electrical panel. He showed me the burn marks where it had gone bad. He did not have a replacement module in stock so he went to the nearest hardware store and purchased a module. He then installed it and the system worked perfectly. Throughout the whole process he was professional, courteous and answered all my questions.

They did a good job for me. I think I found them on my own. I will use them again in the future.

The estimator showed up on time. Evaluated the situation and informed me that I needed to replace the A/C unit. I was expecting that, so we agreed to have the work done. He also pointed out an open electrical junction box and said that they'd get that too, while they were up there. Workman showed up a bit early. Crane operator was fast and efficient. I was amazed at how he navigated the electrical lines that spanned the parking lot with the crane and A/C unit. It took about a half day for the unit replacement. The junction box was connected to a breaker in a different part of the building, and the tenant was unavailable at the time. The electrical work was rescheduled, and the work done quickly. A month later, a different A/C unit stopped working. The repairman was out the next day, replaced contactor and fuses, and put in a hard-start kit. Hopefully, it will extend the life of that unit by 2-3 years as suggested it might. -- Follow-up. On the A/C repair with a 30 day warranty, wouldn't you know... 30 days later, it failed again. On a very hot day, it caused the tenants' other equipment to fail. We got them in the next day to fix it again. Let's see if the warranty holds.

Unit was 30 years old. It took 2 1/2 days to replace. Added an additional duct which greatly improved the quality of the cooling and heating of house.
