Hector always goes above and beyond with creative and successful solutions to plumbing in our old house. Wouldn't use anyone else! He has helped us with emergency clogs to preventative measures to keep everything running smoothly. (Cost for this review was to fix bathtub clog in bathtub through rooter rooting the drain from a roof vent)

The plumber was very professional and explained the price up front. He had a binder with different repairs types and the prices. They have two prices. One for those with their repair plan and one for those without. The plan costs $99 for a year and includes a once a year plumbing inspection.and a 15% dicount on parts and labor. If you purchase the plan the repairs end up being only $15 dollars more so I brought the plan. The man did not pressure me to buy it. I gave a B overall because I think the price seems awfully high for less than a foot of PVC and less than an 1 hour work even on a Saturday. If it weren't for that I would have given them an A overall. They did very good work and I will use them again and will recommend them as they were there when I needed them.

I called on Wednesday(4/22/2015), spoke with Gene Kelly, and made the appointment The appointment was for 9:00 a.m. on Friday 4/24/2015. I called and confirmed the appointment with Mr. Kelly on Thursday 4/23/2015. On Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. we received two calls confirming that the plumber would be there at 9:00 a.m. The plumber did not arrive until 9:40 a.m. While the plumber was pleasant enough he was late which created major problems. I had made the appointment for 9:00 a.m. as we had tutors coming to the house to meet with two children. Had the plumber been on time, he would have been gone by the time the first tutor arrived. Due to his tardiness he was only beginning to consider the job when the first tutor arrived (9:55); the second tutor arrived at 10:35 just as the plumber was leaving. His presence was a distraction and the sessions were not as productive as they usually are. The area under the sink had been completely cleaned out; there were no access problems. There were no items to move. The plumber was finished by approximately 10:20 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the latest. The charge for installing the garbage disposal, the electric cord, and tax was $298.00. For this very simple job, the very short time required to do the job, and the maximum of one hour at the property $298.00 is an outrageous charge. Further, I was lead to believe that Knight's Plumbing has several locations, one in Stockton. While they do have several locations, there is no location in Stockton. The plumber came from Manteca, which Knight's may feel justified the outrageous charges. Additionally there is the impression given that they are a local plumbing company which is also not true. They are a Roto Rooter franchise. In fact the person who called at 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning, April 25th, stated we don't say Roto Rooter because of the impression people get.I We will not use them again and suggest you be very cautious if you do. UPDATE: I felt I should add two things. (1) The plumber was Jason George was pleasant enough and this review is not about him. and (2) The total cost was not $298.00 it was $337.22. The charge for the electrical cord was $38.47. The install charge was $298.75 for a total of $337.22

Only real issue was that there was excess water draining from the pipe he cut so there was a bit of a mess. He noted that it must have been the water from the 2nd story draining out. He also had to leave for 1 1/2hours for parts run when we had made it clear what the job would entail.

When we called Knights Plumbing the first time, Hector did an excellent job replacing our water heater. When we had a problem again with our toilet leaking, we decided to have Hector come out again for a consultation since we've had trouble with other plumbing companies in the past. We have always had friendly and prompt service from them and look forward to working with them in the future.

Hector came by and gave me an estimate on a bare minimum repair and a full replumb of the house. After discussing the state and age of the plumbing that was visible, we agreed on an entire replumb of the house using PEX and copper. Hector and Chris showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done quickly. Initially we thought the Main out to the street would need to be replaced, but Hector did some research and said it wasn't necessary, saving me an additional $2000. Hector went above and beyond and was very concerned that I was satisfied with the job. Which I am. I will hire them again for a work on another house.

We had a bad experience with other company that did not fix the problem. Should have checked Angie's list. I called knights plumbing Orlando arrived asked what the issue was we told him what the previous tech said we didn't have any issues with our plumbing just happened to notice the clean out had feces which he did not clean it up. Orlando cleaned it all out and noticed the seal wasn't tight enough that was the reason it was leaking, he took care of what he considered a minor problem. Great job, other tech was advising we needed a hydro jet procedure that cost $$ Orlando said we didn't need it everything is working good. He was honest and straight forward he offered us the royalty club which we purchased. Thank you so much.

Price from the "Book" seemed HIGH. I asked questions when Tech was basically reciting the "Script" from the "Book" about a "Savings Plan." Tech seemed to kmowvthe mechanics of the job. But when I asked questions the Tech knew were legitimate, he referred me to Owner/ Manager on the phone. Owner DID NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS. Owner sttempted to "Divert" convetsation/ blame on Tech. Blamed tech as being "English Learner." Owner wss Disparaging/ Discriminatory about Tech. Tech was attempting to do ethical, legitimate job. Then an "Upsell to a Water Faucett. My water faucett worked fine prior to Garbage Disposal Iinstall. Felt I was "Scammed, upsold" Had to purchase water faucet in adfition to Disposal. Not sure if Knights Plumbing or Rooter. They seem to share phone numbers. Previous dealings were confidence building. The last incident left me feeling "Overpriced & upsold" Tech was good. Company, I have reservations about. If I needed again, I would purchase purchase parts myself. Then they could only charge for Installation.

We had them before too. They are always good. They are prompt and courteous. They call ahead. They wear booties on their feet. They are friendly. They keep us informed what's going on down under the house. There is one guy who has been to our house so many times. He is friendly and courteous. He knows what things are.

Knights Plumbing & Drain did a good job on everything. The problems they fixed were things that we did not sort of have a problem with because they kept saying, you should have this kind of line and that kind of line. This line is not good. So I fixed them based on their recommendations because I am not a plumber and it cost me about $1000 bucks. So I don't know if this was good salesmanship and I am not so smart to know any better, I guess in the end I was kind of resentful of that. But maybe they were doing me a service and I have no way of knowing it any different so, okay. So far as what they did, they did a good job. Since then we had one problem that may have been related to the problem before and what they fixed, but they came right away so I guess that this is a good review.

The people from Knights Plumbing & Drain are really good. They come quickly when I call them and they are there whenever I have a problem. I do not have to wait for a long time for them to come. They are very professional, pleasant and nice people. They give me a discount as I have been their customer for a long time.
