Description of Work: I called Airway Heating and on July 11th 2012. Scott told me he could be here between 11:30 - 12:30. he arrive @12:00. My ac had not been cooling the house down. He advised me I needed coolant. I told him we had coolant put in last year and the company that came out said we might have a small leak (My home repair Warranty). Scott took the time to find what could be a leak and repaired it and did not charge an additional fee to find the leak. I would refer him to anyone who needed service .He was prompt,honest and very professional. I would use him again and refer him to everyone who needed service.

Description of Work: One of the tenants in a single family home I manage @ 2227 Lido Circle in Stockton, CA called me about the Air Conditioning not working. Since I had just joined Angies list, I decided to look for a company on Angies website. Well, Airway Heating and Air had the best rating of any HVAC company so I gave Scott a call. Scott answered my call on his cell phone and after explaning the problem, I gave him my tenants name and phone number. He called Maria immediately and made an appointment. He kept his scheduled appointment on time and proceeded to diagnose the problem. He then called me and gave me the bad news. The old Condenser and Coil of 34 years needed to be replace. Scott replaced a 34 year old Air Conditioning Condenser and the coil on a rental property. In addition to installing the new condenser and coil Scott also found a gas leak in the garage where the furnace is located. He fixed it and called me later. In addition to that, he recommended putting in a new air return in the house and explained that it would help with cleaner air flow in the home and keep the furnace working better. The Furnace is in the garage. The cost of that was only $ 100.00. Scott also took the time explain to the tenant that the filter should be replaced every 3 months and also showed her how to do it. Here is the bottom line. Scott did everything he said he was going to do. He stayed on the job till it was done and he did not change his price. In addition, he did some extra things above and beyond what his contract called and he did not charge me any extra. The new air return vent in the house was a good recommendation. I chose to take his advice. Needless to say, I highly recommend Airway Heating and Air. In fact, I called Scott again on another AC problem on another rental property I manage. Thanks Scott..

Description of Work: The heating unit in our rental needed work. I called my HVAC company to fix the problem and they did, but told my tenant and I that the heating unit needed to be replaced as so as possible. I was a little perturbed because they told my tenant several reasons why the heating unit needed to be replaced immediately. They filled me and my tenants head with fear. So, I was going to have the heating unit replaced by them, but I hesitated. I decided to get a second opinion and price. Thanks to Angies list, I called Airway Heating and Air Conditioning. Scott, the owner of Airway Heating and AC came and spent at least 30 minutes inspecting the heating unit and even pulled his ladder to inspected the vent on the roof. Scott could not find any problems with the heating unit that my HVAC company told me I needed to replace. Scott did not even charge us a penny for all his efforts. Thank you Scott and Angies list!!

Description of Work: Airway removed my existing heating and air-conditioning system and installed a completely new heating and A/C system, including new ducting. Scott had spent three hours preparing his estimate, so I knew exactly what to expect. Throughout the estimating process and then the installation process, he explained in minute detail what he was doing and planned to do. He and his associate were always on time, courteous and accommodating. He even altered his schedule when I had a time problem. He was always professional, and Airway's work reflects that devotion to good work. He takes pride in his work. By the way, Scott said that he would make a courtesy follow-up next summer to see how things are going. Is that any way to treat a customer?. It certainly is. He understands what too few business and professional people know, that success depends on satisfaction and referrals. It is very satisfying when one finds a service provider that one can trust.
