Scott was great to work with. He was very friendly and kept me in the loop the whole time. There were lots of issues with this very old furnace and he explained each to me and what service needed to be performed. He rebuilt the entire unit, parts of which were accessible only through a very tight crawlspace. During his initial service visit he identified a safety issue and temporarily fixed it while we were waiting for a new part to be fabricated. He completely rebuilt the unit--he's one of only a few in the area that has expertise with these old units from the 1940s. My tenant called to tell me that the unit works great and much better than it ever has and I feel good that the safety features have been upgraded. I would definitely use Scott again.

Very well. I had many thermostat related issues from a PG & E smart thermostat and he identified which issues with the heater were thermostat related and which were heater related. He did an outstanding job of solving the problems and not doing unnecessary repairs that were caused by a faulty thermostat (PG&E's issue). He priced everything very fairly. Outstanding service.

Scott arrived on time and performed annual maintenance on my heating system. As usual, he was friendly and cheerful. He completed the maintenance without wasting any time. He thoroughly checked the system, found and fixed corroded batteries in one of my thermostats, and tightened a series of loose screws on my circuit board. That last little touch potentially avoided a problem with the heating system failing. He noted that a transistor on the circuit board showed overheating and would eventually require the board to be replaced. I fully appreciate Scott's professionalism. Before leaving, he made sure my a/c was operating as well.

Scott was quick to schedule an appointment, showed up exactly on time. He showed me everything about our AC unit, performed diagnostic tests, cleaned the unit and replaced the air filter. I will be asking Scott back to do annual maintenance on our furnace in the future.

Went great. Second time I've used this company. Both times went extremely well. Scott really knows his stuff. He performs the job exactly in the manner he initially explained it to me. Price was right . He is more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is working properly even if that means returning to correct something . I will definitely use this company's service again should I need work .

He really went above and beyond. The filter was extra, and was a great deal of work.

This service is a rip off. The personnel said my AC dual capacitor efficiency is only 41% and it is below the passing quality. He said he will charge $150 to replace it. I looked today for prices of dual capacitor and it is only $9-$30 each so be careful to other Angie's List customers.

Scott scheduled me quickly and arrived within the agreed-upon one-hour window; he took time to explain what he was doing as he worked. Replacement part seemed pricey, but since I didn't want to delay while I researched parts/labor costs, I went ahead and had him install a new programmable thermostat for a bit under $200.

It went well. he showed me in detail the parts he replaced and explained to me in detail why the parts needed to be replaced. Excellent job. My AC unit is working fine now.

Cleaned and checked air conditioner unit. Gave me good advice about replacing the filters. Replaced old thermostat with a much nicer thermostat.

Scott was excellent. Explained cost for replacement of old air conditioner vs cost of replacing both furnace and air conditioner. Explained that the duct work and permit on the old system would significantly increase the cost. We opted for replacing just the air conditioner. He explained to my husband what he needed to do for maintenance. We were extremely pleased with his service and would highly recommend him to others.

They found that the Fan motor was installed incorrectly during a prior repair. They fixed the problem, which was included in the maintenance price and explained to me in great detail issues and concerns they were able to locate and the repair they made.

Arrived at time scheduled, very friendly and knowledgeable. Explained the problem and how much it was going to cost to fix. I will be calling Scott & Scott if I ever have problems with my HVAC unit in the future.

Took a while to get hold of them after purchase of the deal. But after that everything went well and they provided a great service.

Scott and his assistant arrived promptly, even a few minutes early, since it was going to be a hot day and they wanted to finish on-time or right on schedule. After coming home from a weekend in the bay area, we experienced 92+ temperature well into early this morning. He finished exactly at 1pm today like he originally stated. This also made it more comfortable for us today, especialling since the unit has been delivering hot aIr during this recent hot spell. Scott and his assistant were very professional, efficient, and performed the installation of the new AC unit with a high degree of technical knowledge and know-how. I am happy to say that the unit works great and can already tell that it functions better than the old unit. We will definitely call Scott back if we have any AC or heating problems in the future.

Informative, explained everything up front of the procedures. During the Analysis of the mechanics of the operation, Showed me all of the readings! With explanation of what each item?s expected ranges and what my unit was producing. Professionalism, was displayed to the utmost Quality without appearing to demean my limited or lack of knowledge. Airway, Answered my questions promptly and in detail. It appeared the dual capacitor was operating below, acceptable range and I had decided to have replaced. Scott has many parts in his vehicle; however, he was out of the correct model for my unit. He actually left and returned quickly for the install. I enjoyed this experience, as they gave me extra tips, to help my unit operate Efficiently and to give my unit longevity. I did not feel pressured At All to purchase anything, I Did Not Need.

Went very quick, furance is 40 years old, not much to check as with more current models. Still gave me peace of mind
