Flawless from start to finish!

Lux Builders remodeled our master bath. Sagi, Melvin and their entire staff is very nice to work with and responsive. They will actually help you pick out your fixtures and tile, if you want them to. I felt comfortable with them and had high expectations based upon their reviews. The workers were careful not to damage any other parts of the house during the demo and construction, which was important to me. I would definitely use them again and I am very particular.

It was not good. I don't think they did all that they said they were going to do. One of the pipes that they put up broke off and I called them and they haven't sent anyone out to look at it.

We just had a complete kitchen remodel done by Sagi Paul of lax builders & are extremely pleased with the out came! The kitchen turned out beautiful with the guidance of Sagi & his crew. The project went smoothly & was completed in the time planned. We were impressed with Sagi's knowledge of the construction business & his professional manner. We were especially happy, with the craft man working on the job. The filer who laid the floor & backsplash did an exceptional job as well as the electrician & painter all of Sagis staff worked really hard and were very pleasant to deal with.

Lux Builders remodeled our guest bath, added a laundry room, installed air conditioning, moved our heating unit, in addition to hardwood floors. We are so pleased as the professionalism, workmanship, and outcome of all of the projects. When our master bath was remodeled a few years ago, we were also impressed with that project that encouraged us to seek Paul out again. We still have other projects we are planning for the future and of course, Lux Builders will be the contractor. I highly recommend their services and I am very high maintenance.

LUX Builders provided complete design and remodeling for adding a master suite with Bay window, walk in closet and new bathroom. Remodel included the laundry area and enlarging and remodeling kitchen and existing bathroom. The project included replacing the floor furnace with Central Heat and A/C, installing tank less water heater and updating clay pipe sewer line throughout the house and property. All footings, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall and finishing work were performed extremely well. LUX was excellent to work with and all the workers on site were professional and extremely good at their jobs. The contractor visited the site daily. I highly recommend LUX Builders & Remodeling for any size job you may have. They are honest and trustworthy. Their focus is satisfying the customer and delivering "an amazing house".

This review is for our second project with Lux. Paul helped us create a beautiful, larger kitchen space within our existing exterior walls. He guided us in every step of the process, he has a great kitchen designer and construction crew. With his advice we removed an interior wall which allowed us to create a more spacious feel while not adding square footage. They figured out how to fit lots of lovely cabinets, relocate the appliances and achieve a truly custom built in look. They gave us an island, something we really wanted, but could not see how to do in our small space and it has wonderful deep drawer storage and seating for two. We added beautiful recessed lights, under cabinet lights and enlarged a window. We took the renovation a bit farther and continued the lighting in the living/dining area and he also refaced our existing fireplace. The project was completed within the budget we set, however we did add some extras so the cost ended up a bit higher at our request. Paul was always supportive and responsive to our needs and questions. His wife is part of the team and has beautiful design sense and helps if you want ideas. He has a great bunch of guys working for him , which was key since we lived in our home during the construction--hard to do, but it sure saved us some money. We highly recommend Paul and Lux Builders--it is a great company and they do wonderful work. I also feel like we can call on him at anytime if any issues come up post construction, which is a great comfort. We love our new space so much!!! Thank you Lux!

Over the past several months my husband and I have had the great pleasure of working with a true professional?Sagi Paul of Lux Builders. From our first meeting through to the final door being hung, the process of remodeling our 2 bathrooms was flawless. The process was smooth and?yes?it was fun! After visiting our home, taking measurements and discussing what we were looking for with my husband, Sagi came back a few weeks later as promised with drawings, estimates in writing and contracts. My husband had met with 4 other contractors and from that first meeting he knew Sagi would be our guy. The day Sagi met us at our home with the above mentioned drawings, I confessed(?) to him that I was a art/creative director working in the agency world and that I am very particular and all about the details. This bit of info never phased him, it was not a problem. We were thrilled with all he had to say, the drawings, the estimate and his enthusiasm for the work he does. We were off and running?and the good news?the first stop was shopping! Toilets and sinks and faucets and a tub! Then tile, beautiful tile and he knew the exact place to take me where I could feel comfortable being my crazy design self! It was an exhilarating experience and Sagi was with us every step of the way. Next came the demolition of our leaky upstairs bathroom. We knew we had leaking water issues and sure enough there were plenty. No problem, everything was fixed properly. Our first inspection with the city was flawless. Over his shoulder on his way out our front door, the inspector said, ?those guys from Lux, they always do everything better than they need to.? Each day I went off to work?other than the progress in the bathrooms?you would never have known they were here. My house was spotless. Every single one of Sagi?s craftsman are talented, true artists [and yes other than solid surface and shower doors everyone of Sagi?s craftsman are his employees]. The carpenter framer, the electrician, the plumber, the dry wall installer, the painter and the tile master [I give him that name because he is a master of his craft]. And did I mention, they all clean up at the end of every day!?! And as soon as bathroom one was finished enough for use,bathroom 2 was gone! And with the same talent and expertise [and far less issues than in the previously evil bathroom 1] our downstairs bathroom was done! Including a re-purposing of a hallway linen closet as a new bathroom linen closet, and a tear out and complete replacement of a water damaged bedroom closet [thanks again bathroom number 1 and it?s issues]. Plus, all new interior doors throughout our home! While we are thrilled with the new bathrooms?best holiday gift to ourselves EVER?we were sad to see all our new friends leave for the final time. Crazy I know, but what a great bunch of craftsman we had the opportunity to have creating magic in our home! Now I?m figuring out what else we can remodel so we can work with Sagi Paul, and all our new friends at Lux again!

I couldn't be more pleased. Paul Sagi was honest and straightforward in his dealings with me. When problems arose, we always worked them out, and I found him to be reasonable and even generous in his approach to things. He was personally involved but also had a fantastic foreman and great workers, all of them polite and friendly and very skilled at their trades. The job started on time and only ended late because of a bathtub manufacturer who messed up. Everything that Paul had control over was done right and on time. The quality of the work was excellent. As I said before, Paul hires terrific workmen : the tile layers, the painters, the plumbers , etc. were all top-notch and had worked with Paul for years. All the little finishing details at the end were handled promptly and final payment was not requested until every bit of the work was done. Paul in general always waited until a good chunk of work was done before asking for an installment. I found Paul because my friend had used him. I would absolutely recommend him to someone else.

Sagi and his crew turned my outdated and non-functional bathrooms into clean modern works of art. Every step of this process was done in a clean and organized way; i.e. no dust or mess. The quality of the work is literally second to none. Perfect tile, perfect electrical, great design, glass done to perfection...even the grout and stone were flawless. Really reasonable prices, wonderful friendly crew, completed in a timely fashion, and all done properly inspected. I couldn't have asked for more. I'm recommending them to everyone I know.

This review has been a long time coming. We completed our remodel/addition construction project with Lux Builders in February 2014. The job was by our standards a BIG project which included remodeling and adding onto our 1948 GI tract house (small house ~1150 sqft) an updated kitchen while attaching the house to the garage. Specifically we added about 150 new square feet that was partially preexisting and partially open space. We also re-engineered existing doors and windows in the primary non-kitchen structure. Let?s start with the bid. Lux was one of 3 contractors whom provided a written estimate. They were not the cheapest but after meeting and interviewing all 3 we decided that Lux, i.e. Paul Sagi, was our choice. Next step, initial plans; while we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted the Lux bid included architectural analysis and planning along with a kitchen designer, Isaac. Lux was very responsive in the written estimate process but there was a 6 month lag between initial contact and actual construction start. For the record the delay was based on vacations, extra bids and missed connections on both sides. I freely admit I am brand new to construction. I did a lot of research to bridge my knowledge gap but still managed to make many mistakes. The written contract completed, construction began, life changed. For note, as this was an addition, our family continued to live in the remaining half of the home sans kitchen. This is extraordinarily important as one lives first person construction reporter/reviewer every day. Bottom line: The Lux work crews from demolition, excavation, foundation, framing, ?trades? (plumbing, electrical, heating, etc.) and onward were professional and competent. While Lux and I had many agreements to ?disagree? and a couple untimely surprises related to decisions we did ultimately survive the construction project. 1. Would I use or recommend Lux Builders? 2. Did they complete the project timely? a. On budget? b. Quality? 1. A resounding ?Yes?. At the end of the day QUALITY construction is the goal. 2. No, the written contract differed from the verbal. As a newbie to the process I trusted that a verbal contract held authority- I have learned that many variables impact the written final product. While I do not believe that Lux deliberately mislead us I have since learned that a quality contractor with a dedicated crew, not subs, will be spread very thin with competing projects and it is up to the Home Owner or ?Dedicated? site supervisor to ensure work is completed timely and ACCURATELY. 3. Hands down Lux will deliver you the quality you seek ? at a cost. They are not the most budget friendly but I do believe they will work with you to find a resolution that meets their and your needs. We have many more construction needs in my home. The Lux team will be my 1st choice with learned caveats.

Upon the completion the finish on the custom cabinet drawers and doors started to peel off, they were taken back to the guy that lux uses to build custom cabinets and they refinished them, the cabinets started to peel again and lux was finally not responding.

The work was performed continuously and carefully. All the trades were properly coordinated and all the work was permitted. Lux Builders & Remodeling Inc was gracious in accommodating the in-progress changes. Very professional execution of work!

He was nice and down to earth. This is the type of company we would use in the future. Their prices are also very good. I trust their judgement and recommendations on design.

Paul Sagi is a man of his word. He promised we'd be back in our kitchen in 3 weeks and even with a torrential downpour for 3 days and the birth of his second daughter, he had us back in our kitchen ahead of schedule. I would not have believed it had I not lived through it. The end product was just what I had hoped for and Lux Builders completely stands behind their work. Over a year after the job was completed I emailed Paul because there was a crack in the paint on one of the kitchen doors. I said I needed "a favor". Paul wrote back and said "It's not a favor, it's my job". he had someone out within the week. No questions asked and they repainted not only the door I had requested but others they felt were not quite up to snuff. This is a great company. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent! Took less than 1 month overall, including city inspection, worked every day on project and came as anticipated. Paul got back to us promptly. I've referred a friend too.

We were thrilled with the outcome all workmen were very competent professional and a pleasure to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to have them do other work for us.

Overall very please. Paul fixed things with charge to make sure things done right.
