+ -1 moreIf the carpeting I received was indeed from Home Depot, I did not have it installed in my home. It stank of and quot;newnessand quot; and chemicals. Right now, the carpet is rolled up in my garage, along with the padding (also stinky). I will attempt, once late spring comes and there's no more rain, to leave both the carpet and padding in the sun all day long on my driveway. Hopefully, a summer of this treatment will rid the carpet and padding of their toxic chemicals.
Description of Work: I would NEVER buy any carpeting from a store like Home Depot. Carpeting is one of the most toxic products you can put in your home--it offgasses all kinds of allergenic, immunotoxic, neurotoxic, and carcinogenic chemicals for a long time. And after it's finished offgassing, it is a reservoir of dirt, mold, microbes, bacteria, and all kinds of organic nasties. Until Home Depot and stores like it make a serious effort to use non-toxic materials in their carpets, with no Stainmaster, Scotchgard, mothproofing and flame retardants, I will only be buying area rugs from companies that can assure me that their products are healthful to have in one's home. That means made out of 100% untreated organic cotton, pure grow wool, sisal, jute, seagrass, or coir.

+ -1 moreThey have excellent service. They are highly dependable. Whenever we encounter problems with them, they are always ready to fix it, which is a good thing for us. Like when we had a little bit of a problem with the contract we have with them, we talked to them and they immediately took care of it. And, we are happy with the result.
Description of Work: Last October, Home Depot installed a water heater for us.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY POLITE PEOPLE TO DO WORK WITH. THEY CAME AND DID THE JOB FAST AND RIGHT. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP THE MESS THEY MADE AROUND THE HOME. I REALLY LIKE THE WAY THEY WORKED.
