I had used this company in the past and had good results, so I went with him again. I also just reffered him to a friend that was very happy with his kitchen 2 months prior. there were MANY problems with the cabinetry. off level, off square, not lined up...WAY too many nail gun holes that were filled with a product that didn't match the finish. the drawer fronts were a total different color than the rest of cabinets and doors (he did replace them) the bar was way off square, so he had to remove all the floor molding, jack it up and move it. he misaligned the cabinet units in the sink lineup, my husband unscrewed them all and releveled and realigned them. the upper cabinet doors are misaligned and he said it wont get any better. too bad.....I should have fired him at this point, but I gave him another chance on the granite. we went down to a granite yard and hand picked some gorgeous granite. I THOUGHT Jacob @ sharper cabinets would do the installation. but nope, he subbed it out and they were horrible. they had to return twice to "fix" problems but never took care of the two biggies. the bar has a horrible downslope towards the wall...a can will roll down it. its over 1/2in off level. the cabinet/granite small cabinet to left of stove is off level, and the granite was cut too short. the countertop is 24" deep, butthis side is 23 1/4. IT SHOWS. and its not square. the opening for the stove is tight at the back, but has 1/2in space on each side in the front....its just awful...period. and now that my husband has yelled at Jacob about his inferior work.....he wont come back or return a call. THEN I find out his contractors license is INACTIVE....bad business all the way around. and I have to redo my granite.
