+ 0 moreWalter met with us at our house and we showed him the damaged areas on our house and roof deck. We discussed materials and time lines. A couple of days later, he submitted two different quotes on based on various material and labor costs, depending on what we wanted in the end product. To keep costs down, my husband and I purchased most of the materials from home improvement stores ourselves. Walter had a drafting person and local engineer draw up the plans and submit them to the county for a permit. Walter is very organized, communicates well and is truely a craftsman.
Description of Work: Walter Unks is a very talented licensed contractor. His quality of work is outstanding. He is a perfectionist and I would highly recommend him to others. He completely remodeled a leaky roof deck. He replaced our leaky windows, added a sheer wall (current code) and installed concrete siding to a poorly built 1980's house. He is known around town for his wood finish work on fences, baseboards, crown molding and more. How we found Walter: He had his sign in the front yard where he built a fence in our neighborhood.
