Install took as long as I expected. unit had faulty circuit ( no fault of installer ) Daiken sent out new part overnight. job completed a week later than planned after troubleshooting and part replacement

Just wanted to let everyone know my experiences with Gallaghers. A couple of years ago we bought a full house water filter system. It took 3 appointments to get it installed. For one reason or another the times changed. Then a year later we get a letter stating that a permit was not finalized. We did not know a permit was required. Then after 2 years we get a call stating that it is time to do a service on the filter again wee were not told. We made the appointment it took 3 times before they showed up. This year we were proactive and called to make an appointment. The day before we were called and said the service man was not available so we rescheduled. The date was for today. They were supposed to be here between 3 and 5. At 4:30 we got a call that he was running late that it would about 20 minutes. At 6:00 still no word so we called. The guy on the phone said that the repair was leaving Chico at this time. We wait. At 7 we got a call that the repairman was just now leaving Chico. This o Is almost an hour after the first guy told us. At this time we are furious. They offered to cut the price down. Which I guess it good. But the repairman did not show up here until 7:00. This is totally unacceptable. I do not recommend this company at all. And I will be telling everyone I know about the liars the people on the phone are. The repairman are always very nice. Again if I had a choice I would never deal with them again. But unfortunately they are the only company around that deals with our system. Feel free to share

WOULD NOT USE AGAIN I called Gallagher' s about 10am due to a leak. Requested that I be called on my cell phone and not the home landline as my elderly father was home and he is hard of hearing. I also made it clear that I wanted to be home when the repairs were taking place. I was told someone would call me within the hour to give me a time frame when they would be out. After almost two hours I had not received a call. I called back. I was told the tech. was leaving Oroville and would probably take lunch and then head to my house. Again, I asked that I receive a call on my cell phone when the tech was heading to my house as I wanted to be there when he arrived. I arrived home to find the tech there. I had received no phone call. The leak repair was completed by 5pm. I was charged over $ 1,000.00 for the job. It was a small pin point hole in the pipe. At ten p.m. the same night, the repair that cost me over $1,000 started leaking. I called Gallagher's spoke to someone and requested someone call me on my cell phone first thing in the morning. I received no call so I contacted the office at 8am and was told someone had called my landline and spoke to my elderly father. I was then told someone would be out between 1-4 p.m. I expressed my frustration at not receiving a call on my cell phone and was assured by the receptionist that I would receive a call before someone came out. I called my house at 1:30 to find out that the tech was already there and for the 5th time no one could follow the simple instruction of calling my cell phone. When I called to complain to a supervisor, I will say he handled my complaint in a professional manner.
