Glenn was easy to work with, gave a clear bid, and did the work on time and just as we had hoped. Will be bringing him back in the Spring for a re-seal of the whole parking area.

Excellent work, will use again. Showed up with full crew, who constructed needed forms and properly prepped area. Work was done well with great care. Has held up very well.

The day of the paving, Mr. Irwin brought 3 huge pieces of equipment to do a very small job, RIGHT. He treated the project as though it were extremely important, as though it was his own driveway. He performed all the agreed upon work, and more. The work was done extremely precisely and neatly, in spite of some obstacles encountered. It was a pleasure to see the teamwork and expertize in action. The project was completed on time, professionally with no surprizes, no changes, no problems. NOTHING UNFORSEEN Again, in 40 years of owning residential, rental and light industrial property, Mr. Irwin and Southbay paving are the most professional contractors I have had the pleasure to work with. I only wish they did more than paving. If they ever go public...buy stock! !

They're not afraid of a small job! I needed to stripe for 8 parking spots and a few buffer zones. Other companies found excuses to avoid giving advice and doing this small job (like "we need full architectural drawings"). Glenn came out a few days after I called and offered reasonable opinions and a good price. They showed up early for our appointment, encouraged me to participate in laying out the stripes, and was finished in no time. They did sweep debris away before spraying the paint, but I wonder if I should have pressure washed the surface before they showed up. Surface prep is the only thing I'd change if I did it again.

Our driveway had not been sealed for about 15 years, but following Southbay Paving's recommendation, two coats filled many of the cracks completely. Job was postponed a few days due to damp weather, but I was notified in advance of the delay and the job was done per quote and looks great!

No story to tell, simply a lack of professionalism.

We had a couple of other bids and we went back to them because they were really good, plus they were significantly less than the other quotes. They were excellent. If you are the type that needs constant reassurance that they were going to show up, they don't call to give reminders. Other than that, all is great!
