LESLIE'S SWIMMING POOL SUPPLIES

I can not remember the date of this encounter, sorry. I just entered a date to submit this.. It was at least a year or more ago. If you really need it I will have to go through my files. I wasn't even going to bother making a comment since it is so negative but since Angie's List is giving me the opportunity here goes. Required pool equip repair. I have renters at this home. They were there ready to greet the serviceman. He was to give an estimate and his visit required a payment?I can not re-call the amount. (50-75.00.) I was anxious to have a professional look at the situation to get the pool pump up and running. Well, he came and looked briefly at the equipment, left the pool area, sat in front of the house for a long while ( twenty minutes) in his truck. Never came back to the door to discuss his findings or collect his check. Later I believe that same day?.my renters received a phone call from the Leslie's store and "accusing" and questioning them as why they didn't pay the service person. Whoa ! Extremely rude and not at all professional. My renter was really upset about the remarks made by the person from Leslie's. My renter had been waiting for his return and she had a check ready to pay him. She was surprised when she looked out the window and saw that he had driven away. Needless to say?..I followed up with my call to Leslie's and was treated rather rudely also. I heard the same questions? "Why didn't you pay him?"???. Excuse me but he left without a word. They gave me a quote over the phone about the repair?..I told them I would take my business elsewhere. My renters drove up to the store to give them the check for?.payment for what they called an" estimate service". I will never , ever use their services of any kind after this experience.
