We checked Scott and Landscape Solutions out carefully with Angie List?s customers before selecting his company. Luckily for us he had just started a front and back yard landscaping project a few miles from us so we were able to watch the progress of their project before our project started. Some of the other landscape companies that I had contacted wanted me to already have a landscape plan drawn out before they would come out and give us an estimate. Scott gave us very good ideas after I told him basically what I would like in the backyard. He went out to his truck and gave us a very detailed estimate before he left. The plan he came up with was excellent. It looked like a professional landscaper had done it rather than a homeowner. Our project was a landscaping our backyard. Old dead lawn, patio, walkway and old plants except for three trees were removed. A new larger paver patio was installed. We made a change to the shape of it during the building of the patio. They made sure we liked the shape and the edging before finishing it off. They installed irrigation for the new lawn and plants. They had to do a little extra plumbing to tie into the side of the house under an existing walkway. When my husband and I decided to build our own wood trellis, they worked with us in slowing down that part of the backyard so we would have time to finish our part before they started putting in the plants. Scott took us to a nursery and gave us a tour and guided us to plants that would do well in out backyard. The crew we had was first rate. I can?t say enough good things about them. They were always there and on time when they should be. They were always able to answer any questions we had and we could always get hold of Scott if we needed to ask him a question. If Scott was going to be even 5 minutes late he would always call us to let us know. The end product is beautiful. It always puts a smile on my face when I look out in our backyard. He is not the least expensive but you won?t be disappointed if you hire Scott. It was well worth the money. I would definitely hire Scott and his crew again.

Scott arrived at our house on schedule, surveyed the property, and made recommendations after I told him what I basically wanted done. He did not try to over-sell his services and actually made suggestions to save me money. He sat in his truck and wrote up an estimate on the spot. We asked if we could see some of the homes that he had done. He provided a long list of names and addresses of past customers who were willing to share their experiences. He even arranged a visit to two homes with yards similar to ours in size. He was very pleasant and was knowledgable in both hardscape and plantings. I appreciated the time he spent with us and have recommended him to others. He was a little more expensive than the other bids we received, but I felt his years of experience and satisfied customers warranted the cost. I felt very confident in his ability and integrity and would have contracted his services, but my husband thought we should use another contractor who was able to start the job right away. We were in a time crunch since we were approaching the rainy season and needed the work done asap.

The job was done well and completed in a reasonable amount of time once started. We had speciied material to be used and exactly what we wanted done. The landscaper took some liberties with our design that led to a need for addional work, but we were not charged for that additional labor. We had repeated lapses in communication that led to our not being sure when work would happen and what caused delays. Delays were apparently due to difficulty in getting necessary lumber. When the materials were obtained, the job was finished quickly.

They came on time and the quote was very reasonable and they really knew what they were doing. They also suggested some improvements to my sprinkler system. They were very courteous and did a very good job.

Our experience with Landscape Solutions was excellent. We love our backyard. If there was something we wanted done different they bent over backwards to do it. They do things the way we want it done. There were somethings, like little extras, that were more than we wanted to pay. They added up quickly. We would absolutely use them again.

I couldn't be happier with their work. They really knew their business and didn't skimp on anything. I chose the pavers and the extent of the hardscape, but I knew nothing about the drainage or grading. They provided all the expertise and made those decisions. Luckily for me, they didn't limit themselves to just what I specifically requested. They were complete professionals. The result looks terrific and I can see that the proper drainage is there. I am very glad I chose this company on the recommendation of a neighbor. Ana did an excellent job of managing her work crew. She brought in a larger number of people for a few tasks, and left only two people for most of the laying of the pavers. And they worked hard all the time. There wasn't any chatter or goofing off the way some crews work. Even my neighbors commented on how hard they worked. Several of them have asked for contact info. They cleaned up and left everything in good order. I didn't find anything about the job to criticize. I am very happy sitting on my new patio.

I cannot rate the services performed because we did not get to that point. I called Scott earlier in the week to schedule an appointment to get a quote to install a sprinkler system. We scheduled for Saturday at noon. As I had other plans on Saturday and lots to accomplish, I specifically made a point to work around our scheduled time of 12:00 pm. After finishing a project at 11:55, I checked my voicemail only to find out that Scott had called around 11:20 or so to inform me that he was running late and that he would not be able to get to my house until 1-1:30. I called him back and got his voicemail, so I left him a message saying that I'd really appreciate meeting at 1 as I had other projects planned and I did not want to reschedule for another day. About 1:30, after not hearing back from Scott, I called again and got his voicemail again. I asked him to please let me know if he was going to make it to my house. I asked him to let me know either way, if he was coming or not, as I wanted to plan the rest of the day. I never heard back from him. I'm not sure what happened to customer service, but I find it very disappointing that Scott could not even bother to call back when I specifically asked if he could at least let me know what he was going to do. In response to the company's response: They might want to learn a little more about customer service. I subsequently got quotes from other companies, 1 of which made an appointment at a given time and showed up at that time. Another company gave me a 1/2 hour window explaining that he did so in case a previous estimate appointment ran long. Maybe Scott should have given a window rather than scheduling a specific time, only to not show up. Scott may also want to learn the difference between "hostile" and frustrated. I was indeed frustrated to find out he would not be at my house at the scheduled time, given that I had scheduled many other projects around this appointment, but "hostile" is a stretch, to say the least. Had he only exhibited a little bit of professional courtesy by showing up as scheduled and/or calling me back, he may very well have ended up with a satisfied customer and repeat business.

Great results! I wish I'd done this years ago. A&E was very prompt, extremely neat, and worked exactly to my design. I provided a detailed plan and drawing. I think A&E could expand their business by offering more design services.

Ana gave a good estimate including the details of what work would be done and materials used, as we ask for. She and her crew did the work when they said they would and finished on time. The job was finished in one week. They came in and removed all the old dirt path, laid down the new path. They do a good job of cleaning up all the debris that was was generated by the work. We did not have to do anything except enjoy are yard when they were finished. Ana offered helpful suggestions to make the project better. Also, she was flexible enough to make changes during the work to accomodate us. The work came out great and we are enjoying our backyard even more. We would definitely hire Ana again if we need more work done. i

It went great. Scott met with my husband and I and made several suggestions. We relied upon his advice as to drought tolerant plantings and drainage issues in the back and front. The workers were polite and professional. I am very satified with the quality of the work and Scott has been wonderful concerning coming back to reset the sprinkler controller and keeping watch over the property to see that the plants and lawn are growing.

Scott was prompt and very professional, however vastly overpriced. The estimates given for such a simple small job were over $4000 for both the grass and synthetic lawn estimates. Scrape away gravel, till dirt, add sprinklers, add 2 strips of grass 3x30 feet each, add back my gravel to the center of the area for a pathway. This didn't include the cost of the gate at the end of the side yard, since he didn't have an accurate quote for it.

Went great from the start. After talking to a number of companies, Landscape Solutions came up with the most detailed and inclusive quote. The team of two started right away and did excellent work. Getting lots of positive comments from our neighbors! Scott checked in every day to make sure we were happy with how things were going. The team cleaned up thoroughly every evening before leaving.Quality of the work was excellent.Scott even met me at a local nursery to walk through planting suggestions and delivered a suggested planting map of our home. Was a great experience.

Anna responded in a timely fashion with reasonable quote and examples of previous work. Work was done and we were very satisfied with results.

They were very prompt and very reasonable. I really liked them, they were good.

Great, Jim worked well with me to keep me on budget and told me how we could stretch my dollar. He really helped me focus on what I wanted to get out of the big picture. The crews that did the "manual labor" were so pleasant and happy to be at work. They took care to clean up after themselves and I always felt I had someone to turn to if I had questions. Any problems or ideas I had were quickly addressed. I can't wait to do the backyard next year!!!!

I called Ana to trouble-shoot my old sprinkler timer. She and her crew were prompt and knowledgable. She explained that it would cost me less in the long run to replace the timer. and she was exactly right.. They even fixed a leak that wasn't their fault.

He was very professional and prompt. We really enjoyed the fact that he was honest and recommended the right type of person for the job.

I had several bids and the bid I received from them was the most complete. Had the price been lower I would have gone ahead with the project.

We had a problem with our initial plant selection, but Scott was able to provide reasonable alternatives, and the work was completed to everyone's satisfaction.

Scott and team were responsive, communicative, professional, and thorough. Great attention to detail, and they even threw in a few minor projects that were outside of original scope of work.
