Description of Work: I messaged them on Angie's List asking for a consultation to come out and do some temporary landscaping for me. I'm guessing they didn't like my budget because, a day later, they responded with "Sorry we are too busy." No further explanation, no alternative suggestions, or when they might become "unbusy", or even an alternative price. That was literally the entire message.

Description of Work: This is the second time we've used Landscape Solutions. We used them again because they did such a good job installing our raised garden boxes. This time they removed 6 large junipers around the outside of our property that just collected garbage and weren't adding anything to the aesthetics. They did the job quickly and correctly.

The job took a little bit longer than planned, but progress was good and Scott kept us informed of how things were going all the time. Scott is very knowledgeable of plants, and helped us select what we needed. We had a problem with our initial plant selection, but Scott was able to provide reasonable alternatives, and the work was completed to everyone's satisfaction.
Description of Work: Scott did a complete makeover of the landscaping in the common areas of our 14-unit townhouse complex. He helped us select and place new plants, and upgraded to drip irrigation. He is also performing weekly landscape maintenance.

Description of Work: Landscape Solutions took out a porch, re-designed back yard, put in new grass/gopher wire/irrigation, and put in a putting green. They also transplanted some unneeded plants from my back to front yard.

+ -1 moreScott was easy to work with. His estimate was clear and easy to understand. There were no hidden charges, and we actually got more than we were expecting. His crew was friendly and hard working; and they cleaned up at the end of each day. The entire project took a bit longer than initally expected, but Scott and his crew worked very hard to make sure we had a beautiful backyard to enjoy in time for July 4th. Overall high quality of work for a resonable price. We love the final result and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Cleared out dead, damaged, and unwanted trees, stumps, and shrubs. Removed concrete patio and other unwanted hardscape including old sprinklers. Trimmed existing plants. Installed new sprinkers for entire yard (pop ups for lawn and drip for beds). Designed layout for entire backyard. Install patio and short walk with pavers, Install new sod for lawn.

+ 0 moreVery difficult to get a hold of. Does not call back promptly. I left a message asking if it was possible to move my appointment with Scott back 30 minutes and asked for a call back. When I didn't hear back, I showed up at the original time even though it was not convenient for me to do so. However, Scott never showed and did not call to cancel. I tried to reschedule based on the good reviews here, but he did not return my phone call.

He seems like he wants to work with what we can afford. He was really responsive. We didn't find a lot of people in our area. He seems like maybe we will be able to connect.
Description of Work: We got a quote from Landscape Solutions to do our entire back yard. He is going to demolish a deck, patio and beds. It is a complete remodel of the backyard. He is coming back on Sunday to look at that quote and work on it to get it down price wise and stuff like that.

+ 3 moreScott and his team were prompt and professional from the beginning to the end. He kept us appraised of everything he was doing at all times and he and his crew were fantastic. When we ran into a situation where the project scope would potentially increase, Scott not only explained all of the available options without trying to upsell us, but gave us a break on the pricing as well. Though the project ran a little longer than anticipated, the team's attention to detail was outstanding and was clearly more important in the end. We would highly recommend Landscape Solutions.

The job was reasonably priced, and they were the lowest estimate that I had. They were timely, efficient, cleaned up nicely, and didn't cause any damage.
