He had a bunch of young people helping him. He would show them how to do the work and then leave them to do it. I asked about this but he said it'd be ok. We've had nothing but problems with the windows leaking. He keeps coming out and putting new silicone but it doesn't appear to be fixing the issue. During the last rain another window leaked and water got in the wall making the paint bubble and chip off. I'm almost certain he put the wrong kind of siding on the outside of the house which is causing the issues with the windows. I am going to have to have the windows pulled out and fixed by someone who actually knows what they're doing.
Description of Work: We had hired them to put in new flooring and cabinet doors in the kitchen. They repainted the cabinbets as well. They replaced the siding, painted and other things in our sunroom.

All seemed fine. Then we removed the soffits in the kitchen and found they ran the new joists to the soffit beams and NOT all the way to the load bearing wall! It was 5 weeks before we could get in touch with him and convince him to come and to actually SHOW UP when he said he would. Our current contractor told him how to fix it but by the time Gary showed up (after 6:00PM in January, aka, full dark) and as power we turned off for inspection, he had to work by a small lamplight. He found his own "creative" way to fix it and then covered the soffit areas with new (mismatching thickness) sheet rock to hide it! We finally had to bring someone else in to fix it correctly. Several items he had "assessed" in our mostly empty house went missing but have no proof it was him only that the items are gone and he was the one active in the house. I even found one of his workers asleep in a chair after-hours! Find someone else!
Description of Work: We were putting on a new roof and decided a skylight would be nice. Our roofers suggested Gary Taylor Builders as they had worked with them in the past. It was a 24"x36" with tapered edges to 4'x5'. I should have suspected something was up then he used a broom handle thrust through the ceiling to mark where it would go. He seemed to be assessing our possessions too. He was hard to get a hold of and tremendously unreliable at showing up when he said he would. After the skylight, he also did a second job to lift the ceiling in the entry way and hallway (they were a foot lower than the ceilings in all rooms). He made a mess while texturing and did a bad job matching existing texture.

They did an okay job. I was not that impressed with them. They were not very detailed and the price seemed high. The work was done, but it just wasn t done to the best of their ability. I would not use them again because they are not as detailed as I would like.
Description of Work: They installed three brand new sky lights. One was about 2 x 2 and the other two were 14 inch sun tunnels. There was an old 4 x 4 sky light that we also had replaced because it was yellowing.
