+ 7 moreIn the beginning all went well...the plumbing for the gas line for the new water heaters was estimated to take 1 week which ended up taking 4 weeks. The overall job was estimated to be completed in 8 weeks. Job took 17 weeks to complete. The custom cabinets were installed and one set of doors did not work, also the doors did not have finger pulls. Contractor assured me that would be taken care of. This was 3 months ago and contractor does not return my calls. The rest of the work, despite the extra long time to complete, was quite good and I am satisfied with that part. Big problem was contractor not being prepared when he and crew showed up for work, not having materials lined up. Also, the contractor presented me with a big over-cost bill at the end without discussing as we went along and asking my approval.
Description of Work: Total remodel of bathroom. Obtained permits from town and oversaw inspections. Demo and add 4 new windows, install new fixtures, relocate plumbing, add 2 new tank less gas water heaters for over-sized tub, tile floor, tub surround, countertop, install tin type ceiling, order and install new custom cupboards and paint.
