Venice Plumbing and Heating

The Venice Plumbing team, Adrian and his helper, came in and quickly and effectively fixed the problems. Very professional and highly responsive.

Adrian arrived early. He was very friendly and explained everything to me. He gave me the price of service up front. His service was excellent in every aspect. I was very pleased with his service. I am having him install a new toliet tomorrow. I'm happy to have found him as I consider him my plumber now!!

When provider initially came out he did a very good job of explaining what the problem was and what my options were. He was clear on cost of service, what needed to be done, and the time and process of to replace water heater. What he did not explain was that my water heater was a particular class/type of water heater (power vent) and that the cost on different brands was similar because of the type of water heater. This caused a little confusion. The replacement water heater was a different brand name. Provider explained that units were similar in cost, which I verified through my own investigation of unit and model type. The provider did excellent work, and did an excellent job of clean up. He also did a good job of explaining the operation of the heater and provided a one year workmanship and parts warranty (non heater related materials) at no additional charge. While the issue with Brand did cause some confusion, Venice Plumbing and Heating did an overall excellent job and I would use them again. I would also recommend them to others.

Came out to adjust a heater that he'd worked on in the past - And didn't charge for the service call! As always, he came out on time, prepared to do the job, and with a smile. The heating unit now works perfectly!

Great. Called and left msg. He called me back within a minute. Told him of problems. We set up app't. He arrived on time and fixed the problems. He cleaned up conscientiously.

I have one of the old Holly wall heaters. Found small gas leaks around the original inlet and pilot light valves and capped off the inlet line to stop gas escaping. After a tech from another company told me he would have to remove the burners and take them to his shop for cleaning before putting in the new valves two to three days later, I called Venice Plumbing and Heating. Adrian arrived in about 30 minutes with new valves in hand. He worked quickly and cleanly with obvious skill, and voila, the gas leaks were gone -- and I had heat. The price was about the same as I'd paid to have similar work done in another house several years ago.

I called Venice Plumbing and Heating to come out and change a shower head and a kitchen faucet.I expected to have the owner, Adrian, respond to my service call as he has in the past - Instead, his assistant, Lance, showed up.Lance went to replace the old shower head with a new "WaterPik" hand-held model that I had purchased at Costco.Alas! The WaterPik device was defective. Lance showed me how the connection between the hose and the handle was defective enough to not join properly and subsequently sprung a leak right away.Turns out that he had a new, if simpler and less costly, device in the truck which he installed cleanly and neatly.I got to return the WaterPik device to Costco for a full refund.He then changed out my old kitchen faucet for a new, better model, that I had also purchased at Costco.He did a very clean, neat, and quick change-out.He then showed me where the last plumber who installed the previous faucet had not bothered to remove a line that had led to an old Osmosis Water Filter and would have caused a flood if my sink backed up. He removed it, and its fitting and replaced the fitting and hose with a new, plain fitting that would not leak. I was very pleased with Lance's desire and ability to do not just a good job, but an excellent job - He truly seemed to enjoy meeting the challenges of his profession.Then came the truly amazing part of his service call. I took him back to my wife's suite where Adrian had previously fixed the wall heater quite handily. I briefly told him what Adrian had done and the mentioned that we had been having a 5+ year problem with rats in the attic and under the house that had apparently been getting into her room through the heater somehow.He volunteered to look under the house, in the crawl space, to investigate whether there was any opening that they were using to "commute" between there and the attic and my wife's room. Indeed, 5+ years ago, when I had had a "One-Day Shower Enclosure" installed, the installer had done a sloppy job and left a big opening between the enclosure and the wall that the heater sat in. He showed me pictures of the situation that he had taken with his cellphone camera and said that he'd be willing to do the necessary repair if I wanted him to do so. I gave the go ahead and he took off and quickly returned with some concrete and wood material to seal off the big hole. Once again, he performed his work in a quiet, clean, and efficient manner and then showed me an "after" picture that he had taken of the result. The ratio of money spent to time and expertise exercised was Very Reasonable - A shock in itself! Last night was the first night in years that we didn't have to listen to the sound of rats scratching up and down inside our walls - And this is after numerous "exterminators" had been paid handsomely over the years to effect just such an outcome - And Failed! I'm mentioning this experience, not because I'm recommending Lance and Venice Plumbing and Heating as an Extermination company - But rather to illustrate that he was willing And Able to go to great lengths to satisfy this customer and do a complete and thorough job. (As a side note, despite having multiple Exterminator companies out over the years to solve this problem - Not One had taken the initiative to actually go under the house, or in the attic, to seek the source of the problem. All they wanted to do, and did, was put out baited traps, which I could have done myself and saved a lot of money. The Exterminators Club seems to have some kind of unwritten code which allows them to stick their head up in an attic or under the house - But to NEVER actually go into those spaces themselves - Rather, they would just set their traps at the periphery of the problem, collect their fee, and skedaddle on to the next victim, er... Customer.) I recommend Venice Plumbing and Heating unconditionally for all of your needs in this field.

Good story. Broken wall heater. Looked on Angie's by closest repair place, recos, etc. Even though they had only one reco on the board, I figured I'd give them a chance. The guy showed up in a clean new truck, clean clothes, and a good attitude. He fixed the problem from arrival to departure in about a half hour. He gave me the Angie's List discount when I asked for it - AND, he speaks perfect English!

I think that he is excellent. I spent about $2500 on all the jobs. The things that I like about him particularly, is that he is terribly professional, he does great work and he is very courteous. He is on time, very flexible and very experienced. This company has done work for several other people that know that highly recommended them. I would say that there are a little pricier, but they were worth the price on the value perspective.
