USA Repairs

Although the process seemed a little odd, we still wanted to trust that professional electricians trouble-shoot, diagnose, and solve these problems. However, the Edison technicians who came in the afternoon immediately found that the source of the problem was two old burnt parts at the top of the electric pole, which they quickly replaced for free. They also informed us (a little late for us, but useful to remember) that the Electric Company should be called first to fix things from their end prior to deciding what repairs were actually needed in the fuse box. We acknowledge that some of the parts in our box were not new, but they were in working condition as long as the external power supply was 120 V. We thus question why the USA Repairs electrician suggested replacing and rewiring so many components, rather than waiting that the 89 V phase be corrected to properly trouble shoot any issues in the fuse box. Furthermore, the Edison technicians explained to us that the price we paid was way in excess of reasonable for the work done. We later verified that the total price for the six circuit breakers that are readily available at the local Home Depot is less than $75. This suggests that the charge for less than two hours of labor was $1200, which is totally out of range and unacceptable. Finally, our attempts to explain all this to the managers at USA Repairs were mostly met with negative comments about the Edison technicians, who to their words are not electricians, know nothing, and should not be trusted. All this lead us to seriously question the USA Repairs electrician's competence and the reliability of this company.

They're very accommodating, and they're great about explain what they're doing and why they're doing it. I love working with Bobby, and he's great about getting the job done right the first time. Their pricing is also reasonable, and I would recommend them to anyone.
