+ -1 moreTrue Gardener has been taking care of my front and back gardens for over nine years now. Debbie and her crew have installed water-saving devices, planted a beautiful drought-tolerant native garden, and kept my garden in good shape. Debbie has accompanied me to plant nurseries to help me select new plants, and always gives me expert advice. The crew comes to my place around four times a year, but Debbie is always available in case of an emergency. I know that they take care of much larger gardens on a more frequent schedule. I can't say enough about True Gardener, and recommend them highly.
Description of Work: True Gardener is a specialized garden care service (not a "mow and blow" outfit). Debbie and her crew design and maintain gardens, including proper pruning, fertilizing, plant selection (with special attention to drought tolerant plants and edible gardens), and water-wise approaches to the garden. They will work interactively with the homeowner, or take the lead, as the homeowner wishes. Their treatment of plants, soils, pests and diseases is all organic. I know of no comparable service, so am unable to give a grade in that category. I haven't been billed as yet for the May 4 work, so could not enter an amount above, but the service is not cheap--it costs $1.25 per hour, but is well worth it.
