Tom Gamble & Sons Inc

Tom is a really nice fellow. It is sad that I leaned 8 years later he had ripped me off. So, I first bought a house and it only had gravity furnaces on the first floor. He was paid for the furnance and duct work. It seemed like he did a good job. Shortly after he finished a flooring contractor started a massive fire in the home. Tom was not responsible. We replaced the furnace. We also added an AC unit with coil etc. The first time I got a hint of a problem was when I called Sears about installing AC unit after we moved in. Sears guy left quickly said HVAC was not done properly and wouldn't touch it. I did not understand at the time. Years of poor performance and AC break downs. Finally my wife's cousin who is a building manager and took his course examined the system and said, the reason your unit doesn't work properly is you only have 20 inches of intake when it should be double that. Adding it is expensive. What infuriates me is Tom knew the house would be rebuilt from the fire. He could have said, hey, while your at it, you should add another intake or two. ive spent thousands on high heating and cooling bills as a result and will spend much more to now add proper intakes. But i guess Tom couldn't do that artfully without someone asking why he hadn't done it properly in the first place. I don't enjoy writing this review. I am calling Tom and emailing to see if he is willing to do anything.
