Larry is a very friendly guy who showed up promptly and did quality work on my TV antenna installation. Took about two hours including waiting for my TiVo to register the new channels. His rates were a bit on the pricey side (including $40 extra for about 25' of coaxial cable -- buy yours online at monoprice.com before installation), but he did it right and I feel confident that if I have trouble with my reception he'll make it right. He just did the work today but so far so good.
Description of Work: Installed my pre-purchased small HDTV antenna on roof using mostly pre-existing coaxial cable (from defunct cable TV) and adding about 25' of new coaxial cable.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post a response on Angie's list about my service. I take pride in my service and treat people the way I would want to be treated. Honest and Friendly! The two hours and forty five minutes spent at your residence was all in the effort to please you. And, I am glad the job looks great. Reception quality is dependent upon many factors including property location, antenna type and quality of materials. Indeed, some customer's would rather purchase products on line or from another and have them installed. But, with over 35 years experience I do in fact have the expertise to advise as I did when visiting your residence. I was amazed by the picture quality received from the small (plastic) rooftop antenna you provided and was truly happy it produced most all channels. Hopefully,the product will hold up. I use top quality RG-6 coaxle cable and heavy duty compression type connectors and staple all my wireing down for a clean neat appearance. Indeed, one could find lower priced materials and labor. But, I feel my time spent at your residence and the materials used was done at a fair price. Quality and experience is a big plus these days. I value you as a customer and truly appreciated the time you took to place a review on Angie's List. I look forward to any further work you might need. Sincerely, Larry, The TV Man.

Description of Work: I was not able to get in channel 2 after years of having no problem with any of my tv's that are hooked up to an antenna. Could not understand why only one new tv was having problem with reception. Larry was able to immediately figure out that it was a poor connection on the old connector cable. After he replaced it I was able to get in channel 2 perfectly. He was very patient and clear. Explaining everything clearly so I could understand. Will definitely call The TV Man again with any of our tv related problems.

Wonderfully! The TV Man is a perfectionist and made sure we has a great signal/picture on all of our TVs. He even went the extra mile to take down all of the unused wires that were on our house and gave us tips on what he saw on our roof.
Description of Work: We wanted to ditch our expensive satellite service and go free over the air. Not easy to find someone who can do this and give you good service. But The TV Man did it all. He built us an antenna and mounted it on the roof and crawled under the house and hooked up 3 TVs and made sure they were all working properly and helped us with our TiVo as well. We now have all 3 TVs receiving beautiful HDTV signals and we can't believe what a beautiful picture we have. A lot better than the expensive satellite SD picture. And, in less than a year, we will have recouped the cost of the install with the savings of not paying the exhorbatant satellite or cable bills. The shows we don't receive we get another way - via iTunes, Hulu, Netfix, etc. we now choose what we want to watch & don't pay for what we don't. The TV Man knows it all. So if you do want cable or satellite, I recommend you hire him for the install so he will do it right & not ruin your house with unsightly cables & wires & holes!

The repairman was able to identify the problem very quickly. When he left everything was picked up. He was very courteous. He was very straightforward and honest about the problem and fixed it. I felt the price was very reasonable.
Description of Work: The TV Man came and fixed my Sony Trinitron TV because there were lines running across the screen because it is such an old TV.
