SUSIE'S ORGANIZING

Susie came each week to clean our house top to bottom. This included wiping down all surfaces, moping the floors, vacuuming floors, sofa etc, dishes, stove, shower, windows - She stayed each visit until the work was completed. The house always smelt when she left and it appeared very clean.

Susie is trustworthy, efficient and friendly. We give her access to our home so she can clean when we are not there and I completely trust her. We have exotic fish tanks and she does very well around them being careful not to use toxic substances near them. She is also great with our dog who enjoys her visits.

In spite of many requests, Susie never gave me an estimate. She just kept promising she would be reasonable. That made me uncomfortable, but I needed to have the place cleaned. In addition, she was unhappy with my cleaning supplies, which necessitated spending $50 on supplies (which I included in the cost). The first time she came she worked from 9am (arriving a half hour late) until well after 6. At the end of that long day of cleaning the house really didn't look much better than when I do it myself-and I'm no Cinderella. I hired her a second time because I was in a pinch. She showed up two hours late, did slow, poor work at best and charged $105 for her second visit. Toilets weren't completely clean and one was left wet and noticeably dirty. The shower was cleaned by cutting every corner possible, and looked like she had done no more than wet it down. Dirty dishes were put away in cabinets. Many surfaces weren't dusted. She threw away a bar of face soap that was still in use.

I never saw Susie. After three missed appointments, I gave up.

I called Suzie with 6 hours notice to get me out of a crisis situation! I returned home to found my entire house covered in an inch of dust after some remodeling and I urgently needed it cleaned. She responded to my first call and obliged by coming over at lunch time the next day and working non stop for 7 hours to get my house cleaned. She did an awesome job. She is incredibly thorough and within the 7 hours my house was spotless. I was really impressed!

Overall she performed well. There are small things that were overlooked or not cleaned well. For the cost I expected perfection, as it was twice as much as anyone else has ever charged. Susie was to call during the week to advise me as to the products I should purchase and have available. She forgot. She also forgot to bring my address with her the day she was to clean, so she was about 15 minutes late. She did bring my telephone number. Oh, and she asked for $15 more when she finished. That was an insult. She had come by the week before and looked the place over. She insisted on charging by the job, not by the hour. She was gracious when I refused to pay more.

I called to make an appointment with Susie. I felt it was difficult for her to understand me over the phone. She said she was having transportation problems, but that a friend would take her to my house to clean. I made it really clear that I needed someone reliable, that I didn't want to have someone cancel on me. Despite her obviously good intentions, she canceled the night before transportation problems. So I was stuck without a housekeeper the day I really need one. She had said she would charge about $100 for the first time at my house (3-bedrooms, 2000 square ft) and less afterwards. I thought $100 was steep, but was willing, based on other recommendations. I guess I'll never know... I would judge my experience as "lousy" but I don't want to affect her ranking, because I think she's a good woman.

Susie is very responsive. She returned my initial phone call to her within a few hours. She worked with my schedule and we met as planned. She gave me one estimate for a first-time deep cleaning, and then a lower rate when we agreed she would come on a weekly basis. She is honest,trustworthy, friendly and reliable. I highly recommend Susie!

She was very thorough but very slow. The reason she gets a B on quality is because she took so long and couldn't finish two rooms because we had to leave.

I have never had a more thorough housecleaner in all my experience. Suzie has a sunny disposition and works fast and hard. She doesn't compromise the quality of the work, and her main goal was to get everything scrubbed and perfect,not get out as fast as she could. She cares about the quality of the cleaning products and will ask you to supply the things she needs rather than make do with inferior cleaning stuff. She charges more for the first cleaning because it is a complete top to bottom overhaul, but then her prices are amazingly and refreshingly affordable. I learned a lot about cleaning from watching her work

It's a pleasure to come home to my clothes neatly folded and a clean house. Susie is reliable, friendly and eager to work. She works in the Santa Monica, West LA and nearby neighborhoods. Susie's professionalism is only hindered at times but she understands all I am saying and we leave each other long notes that help make things clearer.
