I hired Daniel Sklar to remodel a room off my kitchen into a laundry room and overflow pantry. He and his entire crew were very professional and treated my home with respect. As issues surfaced (it is a 1927 home), Daniel contacted me and we solved them together. I am very impressed by the work that was completed on time and on budget. I plan on using Sklar Construction again to build an ADU in my backyard. I recommend Sklar Construction without reservation!

Danny Sklar is a rare breed, insofar as he is not only a builder, but also has a Masters in Architecture. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and had great and creative ideas. My family room and kitchen turned out amazing, looks gorgeous! His 3D imagery allowed me to fully see and understand what the project would look like in its completed form. Five star builder/architect!

Daniel Sklar is a true gem. I often hear people complain about contractors, and I always tell them they should have hired Sklar Construction. Daniel is incredibly thorough, conscientious, and transparent. And he wonâ t surprise you with extra fees. Itâ s not just that he takes the time to communicate and explain everything that he recommends to be done, he also cares about every detail of the project. His background in architecture intelligently informs his plans, and is probably at least partially responsible for his dedication to making sure that every detail of each room is as attractive as possible. Our house would have been a tear down, but itâ s in a historic preservation zone. We had to take every room down to the studs and start from scratch. Our formerly terrifying pit of a house is now a beautiful home for our family, and our dilapidated garage is now a stunning guest house. I canâ t recommend Sklar Construction enough.
