I had a great meeting with Tom. A couple days ago I was requesting estimates for my roof, and Tom was upfront and professional. I quickly learned that in this industry, allot of the time you end up getting a salesperson, instead of a general contractor, whom might be knowledgeable, but seem to be pushing their agenda more than looking after your interest, that wasn't the case with Shenon construction, Tom listened, and told me what to expect and what not to expect, made some great suggestions, but let me lead and decide on what I wanted to do. I am now just waiting on the estimate (he informed me it would take a few days) to decide on whether or not proceed with the work.

Tom and his team worked closely with me to facilitate our client's dream design into reality. From day-one, there was excellent communication - timely, thoughtful, honest and friendly - making the process an exceptionally positive experience for myself and our client. Tom is hands-on, overseeing every detail to ensure his subcontractors are delivering a product that is consistent with the high standards he sets for himself. Every person I met with on Tom's team was respectful, kind, and calm which infused the project with a positivity I don't always see in this industry. I highly recommend Shenon Construction and look forward to working together on future projects.

Pros: Responsiveness. Owner Tom responded very quickly on text msg, email, and calls. I nterviewed the owner, visited the remodeling project they worked on, and hired them based on the responsiveness. Cons: Crew management and attention to detail. I live nearby and come to the townhome to check on status everyday. Day one, they forgot to take key off the lockbox. Day two, they forgot to turn off lights. Day three, they forgot to close window. Rained pretty heavy and wet the subfloor. They did not cover the floor as specified in contract. I had an argument with the owner Tom. He claimed subfloor is not floor. Dusts are inevitable during construction blah blah blah. I was very upset as I have a young baby and wanted a cleaner home. Tom finally covered the floor with some resin paper. After the job is finished. I found them did not cover the vents as I had previously told them to do. One vent in dining area was sprayed a lot of paint texture and the opening is not cut properly. I cant put back the air register. After removing load bearing wall, they did not fix the subfloor. I had to call them back. A guy showed up, looked around, borrowed the particle board from another contractor worked on a different project, did not smooth it, said he did not bring the sander and it is ok. Later I have floor installer coming, charged me an arm and leg for leveling. Anyhow, despite all the hicuups, I probably will still hire them in the future. Just need to pay close attention and be very specific on contract.

Tom was very professional and had fantastic ideas and suggestions for our space. We would highly recommend them.

It went very well the crew was on time and very professional Tom was my contractor person he stay in touch with me through the course of the job. Last year Tom did my shower and was very happy with the job that is why I call him to do now my other bathroom you and trust Tom he will make you happy. I was very pleased with the outcome of both bathrooms.

Tom was patient in answering all our questions as to possible designs, what would be involved in the remodeling process, approximately how long the remodel would take, and gave us a detailed estimate of costs. We were very impressed with his professional demeanor and knowledge. We are still in the process of getting additional estimates.

The guys at Shenon construction are amazing! I have never done any kind of construction in my home let alone hire a company but let me tell you they made it super easy (my least favorite thing today is hire people for something I have no clue about) I was comfortable with the workers presence and the quality of work! They are actually going to do my master bed/bath sometime this year! Thank you guys for EVERYTHING!!

It was a pleasant experience from the initial phone call to meeting with Tom to get the quote. When I called, I was surprised that they were able to see me the same day. Tom, the owner, arrived earlier than the scheduled time and waited for me out front. He was very friendly and never pressured me or tried to sell me anything. He listened to some of my design ideas and never criticize them. He even offered some of his own ideas about the bathroom but ultimately told me that he would do what I wanted. Once Tom started to take measurements of the house, he checked up on me to see how I was doing because it did take about 40 minutes to measure everything. Then we sat down and went over all the tasks I wanted to get done and wrote the tasks room by room. The whole visit lasted about 3 hours. I'm currently waiting on Tom to email the quote to me and will update this review when it arrives. Update* I've received the quote but will be choosing another contractor even though they provided great service.

Tom and Ellie are extremly professional, reliable and trustworthy. All estimate revisions were supplied promptly. Project stayed on budget and timeline. Tom always had helpful experience to reference and made great recommendations along the way. His teams where extremely professional, prepping the areas carefully and leaving things neat and tidy. The quality of the work was top notch. Great with communication and details, such a pleasure to work with. I always felt like my project was top priority for them. It was such a wonderful experience with Shenon Construction - I am excited for my next project with them.

Fantastic! We are thrilled with the fresh look of the walls. The paint recommendations were spot on - the walls are so fresh and light. We couldn't be happier with the floor re-finish. After years of dog paw damage the worn spaces were obvious. Now it's like a whole new floor. Finally the much antipated project of opening the stair case is transformative. Tom's 3D design recommendations alieviated all of the stress of the unknown. We are so happy with the work, the crew, and the overall experience.

My first intial call to his company was very pleasant. They did everything they said they were going to do and called prior to our appointment to confirm. Tom arrived on time. I didn't feel rushed while asking him a lot of questions and he was fully engaged the whole time. I'm still waiting on my written bid which should be arriving via email in a few days.

Tom was very responsive. He was a bit more than the other bids I had, but frankly the other contractors didn't seem particularly motivated to do the work. Tom returned every call and every message within an hour. He arrived on time every day. He had someone working every day until the job was done. I would recommend.

Everything was great. The people he used were nice and i felt comfortable leaving them alone.

I was able to get a free estimate within a week of calling. During the estimate, Tom was very professional and knowledgeable on the remodeling process. The estimate came with a complete breakdown with line items for all the work they expected to do with the remodel. They have a nice website with recent work they've done. I suggest those interested to check it out to see their quality of work.

They provided amazing design suggestions and construction ideas. They were on time, extremely helpful, and worked with my schedule. Excellent team and will happily recommend in the future.

Tom Shenon did a kitchen for some friends, and they spoke highly of their experience and of the kitchen's utility and quality years later. He was prompt at returning phone calls and emails and very available to meet. We appreciated his thoroughness, professionalism, and courtesy. He considered various design options and explained both the construction process and the reasoning behind his advice. In the end, we selected another contractor, but I would definitely consider Tom for any future projects and I would recommend that others do so also.

I interviewed close to 10 contractors and narrowed it down to 3. I think all 3 would have worked but we ended up picking Rotem based on our gut feelings. I think the other 2 contractors would have produced good work as well, but I'm not sure they would have been as accommodating as Rotem or as easy to reach. We were given a timeline of 6-9 months by most of the contractors. Rotem got us in in 6 months! I think it is unheard of that contractors actually finish on time! He also urged us over and over again during the process to communicate regularly with him. I never felt I was bothering him. We were kept informed of every step along the way. At one point there was a mistake, I believe due to miscommunication and oversight, although not specifically on his part. However, he took full responsibility for his workers and fixed it, which really impressed me! The attention to detail and quality is superb!

It went rather smoothly for the amount of work to be done. It turned out beautifully, and if I want any further remodeling done, I would hire this firm.

We could not be happier with Tom and the Shenon crew. They finished the job a few days earlier than expected and were right on budget. The work they did looks great. As far as professionalism goes, they were clean, worked well with the Glendale building inspectors, showed up exactly when they said they would every day and most importantly to me, Tom and his crew communicated well every step of the way. They let me know what the schedule was for the day and the next few days in advance and if there were any delays, they were very pro-active at letting me know what they were and why. A bonus was a designer that Tom recommended to us who was able to find and get delivered many of the finishing materials (vanity, tile, mirror, plumbing fixtures, etc. ) at a very competitive price. Saved us a lot of time and effort. Joseph from YS Design also coordinated with Tom's crew to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be at the right time. We are working at the same time with another crew on another job and there is just no comparison. I would not hesitate to hire Shenon again and recommend them to friends.

A sliding glass door was added; roof was waterproofed; raised ipe deck with steel frame and secure steel side cables was built; lights were added; granite countertop with a sink and drawers, The Big Green Egg grill and a mini-fridge was built. It was a lot of hard work, and the outcome far exceeded our expectations. We have since referred Shenon Construction to quite a few people, and at least a couple of them have given us their grateful feedback later.

It went really well. The price was good and the contractor and the site foreman were very easy to work with and very responsive. I would not say everything was perfect. The framers made some mistakes, but what really impressed me was that the contractor acknowledged the mistakes and rectified everything in a timely manner. The contractor responded quickly to all questions and needs.

The contractor was prompt, friendly, and informative. He answered all my questions and explained the whole process of the room expansion.

Tom Shenon has a skilled eye for detail, and is very creative at efficient use of space and resources. He is also a pleasure to work with. In 2009, he helped us turn a small galley kitchen in an open space that is fun to cook and entertain in. Amazingly, he did it without altering the footprint. Later, in 2013, he helped oversee the complete remodel of our home. Tom made both projects enjoyable. The projects both came in on time, and on budget, and we are still enjoying the results today!

I am so impressed by not only my finished kitchen, but even more by the process of renovation. The Shenon Construction team worked strategically, planned out; their work was unbelievably clean.
