Seaview Pestcontrol

Scott originally came out to my new home in July. It was a foreclosure and no one had been living in it for at least six months. Evidence of rodents was everywhere. Scott returned my call promptly and with-in a week he was able to come out. He arrived well with-in the window we had discussed and took a look around both inside and out. He thoroughly combed the house for entry sites, pointed out at least six or seven places where not only rodents, but other critters could get in and came up with a plan for solving the problem. He set traps, patched the holes, pointed out problem areas I should watch. About a week later he came back for a follow-up, removed a few dead rats and sprayed for insects. From start to finish he was a total professional. When five months later, my husband and I started hearing critters moving about in the attic, we called again. He was able to set up an appointment very quickly and discovered that they were getting in a tiny hole, hidden behind paint cans, on top of a brick addition to the house (talk about detective work). It was an extremely difficult job to block the hole, due to it's location, but stuck at it until he was successful. Upon completing the job, he informed me that since he had missed the hole the first time that it was part of the warranty and there was no charge. Since that point we have had NO problems. A great experience from start to finish.

I called Seaview for an estimate. It did take a few days to get a return call. When Scott did call, we discussed my cricket problem and Scott said he could take care of it that same day. He came out sprayed and now I don't have any crickets!!

I called once and was told someone would get back to me right away, four days later after not hearing from them i called and left a second message with the person answering the phones, and it is now three days later and no one has called!

Not really good. Never got to the point where a date was set and an estimator came out to our home.

I called them back 2 mos. later, about 3 times, and not once did I get a call. When you have rodents you need an immediate response. I am very disappointed that I have had no response from them.

He showed up when he said he would. He gave me a very clear definition of the problem at hand. He is very good at explaining what he is going to do. His follow up is excellent.

I cannot comment because no work was done.

We could hear what sounded like very LARGE rats running around up in the attic and would find droppings around the house in the morning which told us they were coming down while we slept and running around the house! YUCK!! We called Scott based on recommendations we read on Angie's list and he certainly lived up to the hype! He set traps in the attic and under the house. He also installed wire netting around the house where they could get in and installed closures to openings under the house. This is probably why the price was what it was as this was a big pain to do. Scott came back a couple days later and took away 2 big rats and reset traps. I called him a few days later as we smelt something and he came back the next day and got 4 more! Again, he reset all the traps but I keep checking and no more rats - I think he got them all! Great experience - highly recommend.

Outstanding! I called Seaview and Scott answered himself. I explained that I was desperate to have a dead, smelly rat found and removed before my wife moved out. He was very friendly and helpful but explained that it was his day off and he could be here first thing on Monday morning. I told him that would be too late, that my wife would be gone by then. He said that the best he could do was to call me back and let me know. Scott called back an hour later and said that he could be there later, in the afternoon. He quoted me his prices - I said OK. I thanked him for his consideration. Scott called and arrived just as he said he would - He immediately hit it off well with my dog, said that he had two of his own at home, so we talked dogs for bit. I showed him the wall heater where the smell was emanating from and he did a thorough inspection of the inside of it before climbing up to the attic and then examining the crawl space. We mutually decided that it was too big of a job to dismantle the heater and/or cut open the wallboard because the worst of the decomposition was over and should be completely gone in a couple of days. So we isolated the room, opened the window, lit some incense and got some fans going. He then turned around and told me, "No Charge." I was shocked. He had already quoted a price over the phone in the case that we didn't find the rat - And another if we found and removed it. Then, my wife arrived and he explained the situation to her in detail - She agreed to go along with the plan. All-in-all, a most unexpected, and positive outcome to the whole nasty business. I can give my unqualified recommendation to Seaview Pest Control and Scott - I wish that I'd never heard of another exterminator!

My husband was cleaning the driveway and was stung by several bees. It turned out that there was a hive in the lime tree in front of our house that we hadn't noticed. It was right next to our driveway, so we needed it removed as soon as possible. Seaview came the next morning and removed the hive, and also sprayed something on the area of the tree where the hive was. They had to cut into part of the middle of the tree to remove the hive. Bee problem solved. Quick and friendly service.

He was a very nice person and for a very difficult problem he did a great job. He told me that if there were any more problems that I should call them and he would come back.

Scott is very knowledgeable and does exactly what he promises. He came out, verified I had rats in my garage. He placed traps, being careful of my dog. He came back in a few days and retrieved the dead rats (the traps were thoughtfully placed so I didn't have to see or smell dead rats. He has done this 3 times so far. He sealed all the areas in the garage where the rats were getting in. I've him to provide rate and ant extermination on a monthly basis.

The rats haven't been back since they came and put up the screens up. They came very shortly after I called them. They came and set some traps. When I thought I saw some evidence of mice they came quickly.

Scott is fantastic! He closed the rats out of the house immediately. Though he set traps in the basement, no rats were able to get back in, so there were none to catch. He cleaned up the droppings and removed the traps. We have given him a bi-monthly contract to exterminate all pests. Of great importance to us: he's a dog owner and dog lover; he was very careful to protect our dog from anything that would harm him. We trust him. We obtained three estimates when we noticed rat droppings in the basement and detected an odor. He was the only person to find poisonous spiders in the garage; the only person who asked to look in the attic; the only person who climbed onto the roof to check for evidence of rodents in the gutters; the only person to find the dead bird in the bushes that was causing the foul odor. One of the companies quoted a much higher price. When I looked up the owner on Angie's List, I found that he had not performed his work to the customers' satisfaction. Another company, one of the big ones, quoted a ridiculously low price, and told us that we had roof rats when, in fact, we had Norway rats. Scott quoted us a fair price, performed the important work immediately, and returned twice to check the traps and exterminate. He runs an excellent company; he does a terrific job; and, on top of all these important qualities, he's a nice, nice person. (My dog loved him high praise!)

I called Seaview at 11am after my plumber opened our bathroom wall and found droppings. Scott answered and was able to get to my house two hours later the same day! Scott was great. He checked every part of our house and property. He filled in holes that he thought were possible entrances for critters, set traps, and returned three days later to check out the traps and the property. We believe that the "rat' problem is over. Scott has said to call him if we hear or see anything and he will continue to recheck our house for the next six months. I highly recommend Seaview! Scott was not only professional and punctual, but also extremely nice!

They were very prompt and came back a number of times until the rat problem had been completely taken care of. We would definitely use them again.

it went very well. He came out was very professional he knew exactly what to do. He handled the problem I was having. There have been no signs of rats since they did their work.

Scott arrived on time, at the beginning of the time window he gave us. He asked good questions and suggested we put traps in the crawl space below the roof. He returned two days later to dispose of captured animals and set new traps. He will be returning on Monday. Very good service and value!

Scott is good, fair and knows his business. We had rodent problems in our garage and on our roof, waking us up in the middle of the night. Scott called back immediately and was here when he said he would be (actually a bit on the early side). He took care of the problems and has come back to check. I even asked if there was an additional charge for his return trips but he said it was included.

A termite inspector called my attention to the presence of a large rat that was living in my attic. (yuch!) I called Scott and he came out to my house several times around Christmas. He set and baited traps in the attic and came back to check the traps several times. One night I heard a loud snap and a tail thumping. I called Scott the next morning, and he came over and removed what he said was a large rodent. (I was too squeamish to look.) For a guy who kills rats for a living, Scott is a remarkably nice and sunny person. He was friendly without being too chatty or overly familiar and he did a dirty job with exceptional good cheer. Highly recommended.

They came out the day I called them which is always helpful. They told me they couldn't totally eliminate the ants, but if we saw any ants within the next 60 days they would come back out and reapply their treatment. Their price was reasonable.

He was very friendly and cooperative. He was willing to come back several times to recheck.

I had an awful bug problem at home. After reading the good reviews on Angie's List, I called them to see if I could make an appointment for spraying. They never called back! After two attempts, I gave up and used another company, which did a wonderful job the next day I called. When you have a bug problem, you want to fix it right away. Time is essential. Seaview should at least have had the courtesy to return my call.

I wish everyone could be as honest, thorough, prompt and friendly as Scott. I have never encountered anyone as helpful. Arrives when he says he will, and always follows up. Amazing service.

We started finding random fleas in our house. Strange, as the only pets we have are fish. Then, after stepping into the yard I noticed a lot of fleas on my ankles. 20 or 30 of them! I found Seaview through Angie's list and called immediately. Scott was able to come the next day and spray the outside of the house thoroughly. We decided not to spray the inside, as there were only very few fleas inside and we have an infant in the house and did not want him to breathe in the poisons. It is now four days later and the flea problem has completely subsided.
