Seaview Pestcontrol

We called Seaview Pestcontrol when we discovered rat droppings in our garage. They cleaned up the mess and set several traps but the rats never came back. They also helped us seal the garage so that when the door was closed the rats wouldn't be able to come in. They did a good job and we'd use them again.

2 different exterminators, 5 different trips and we still had mice. This guy shows up once. No more mice. He warranties for a year. He is the best in town and I had to work to find him. Don't make the same mistake. Just call Seaview.

Scott came and looked everywhere: roof, attic, heat duct, and along the foundation of the house. Couldn't find anything, and said things looked sealed up, including the old traps set in the attic years ago....they were still set. He said call him again if we keep hearing something. A few years ago, was the first time we called Scott, He got rid of a black widow spider infestation that was in our compost tumbler.

Scott Gaston, the owner of Seaview and tech who serviced our property is a no-nonsense guy, and his proven methods got rid of the problem, which was not only troubling us as well as the renters, but also allowing the rat problem to grow literally. It was a job that IPM Botanicals could not accomplish over a 8 month period. I did not know what to do, so I joined Angie's List and found Seaview, whoc achieved significant results quickly, and came back a couple more times to address the remaining issues., which persisted although in a much smaller scale due to the tenant continuing to leave doors open and dog food out in the open. The good news is that the house was rat-free 2 and a 1/2 months later. We have not had any issues since December 2012.

He has become like our go-to guy but we originally called him for a beehive removal and he came out, he was totally professional, very prompt, got everything handled really quickly. We had him come and deal with a rat problem and also we used him in general spraying for insects and stuff. He's been totally professional and he's good. I'm the property manager so I just send the bills to our business manager. I know their prices are reasonable because I can remember when he did the beehive stuff, it was like a lower quote than I had gotten to people on the phone and he was the only one who was willing to come out the same day and handle it. The invoices I've seen had been really reasonable. He was good, he'd always shown up the day that I've called him unless he's been already home for the day.

He was fantastic. He is really nice, very personable and very knowledgeable about his craft. He is easy to work with and very responsive. He is everything that I want.

The service was excellent. I believe it is a family owned business, and the owner actually came out himself. They were very personable, and just all around great people. I appreciated how they were very courteous and professional, and I would recommend them.

He came, set traps, put out bait, got rid of moles in the back yard and rats under the deck. Took about 3 visit within a month to declare victory. Great follow-up. Very pleasant guy. Definitely would call him again for pest problems.

They missed the original appt time (I called to check on arrival) and were going to come later, but I insisted since I had to remove all dishes from cabinets. They ended being about an hour late but then did the service properly and effectively.

HE looked through everything, removed the bed ruffle and other things that needed to be moved before he could start spraying. This was done quickly and efficiently. He said it would take about 2 hours, and I left to run some errands. When I returned, on time, allowing him about 15 minutes extra just in case, it was done. He said his work was guaranteed for three months and if I had any more problems to let him know and he would come back free of charge. I haven't had any more problems. He was friendly and professional.

Overall I was extremely pleased, Scott is a really knowledgable guy, he will be my provider from here on out.

Where in the world do you begin in trying to get rid of a possum on the roof? Not the city animal control! Angie's List helped me to choose Seaview Pest Control with the positive ratings and comments. Scott came out and I was impressed with his promptness and enthusiasm! While I don't care for possums, I don't want them harmed in their removal! While walking around the house with him as he inspected the situation, I was happy to find he was an animal lover and he fully explained to me what he was going to do. Scott fully explained how to check and reset the trap and what to expect if we should accidentally trap a cat. He also helped me to move my ladder by the spot up to the roof, in case I needed it. He also said he would make sure there were no animals under the house and he would fix all the broken screens that allowed animals to enter. He did not know I had called other commercial chains to get estimates for their services. For a little bit more, he was providing the critter service and helping to prevent further incidents by taking care of my screens! There was a timeline as to the process and he was always here when he said he would be. When I had questions, I called him and he was always pleasant and accommodating. He called back in a timely manner when I left a message. I fee this man went above and beyond and I greatly appreciated it! I was extremely satisfied with the service.

The whole experience was a very positive one. He came out many times to get all of the mice out from under our house. He was always on time and very professional. He ended up killling 10 mice. Nine under our house and 1 in the house. His price was very reasonable and I would definitely use him again.

Seaview was fantastic. We had a silver fish infestation and put off calling someone until we saw a rat in the house. Scott, the owner, came out within 24 hours of us calling him. I received a fair estimate and had him spray the house and set up traps in the attic, kitchen and under the house. The rat kept eating the bait and not setting off the traps. So Scott got creative with the bait and caught the rat. He was always on time, followed up with phone calls and got both jobs done!

we had a what we beleived to have a major pest problem. we contacted them and they were able to come out same day. after a quick inspection they were able to determine that we did not have a major infestation and clarified what the issue at hand was and optional treatment plans. they were never selling a bill of good and never were putting themseves ahead our needs. good folks.

Scott from Seaview was very professional, friendly, and punctual. He was very flexible and worked within my schedule, which was very helpful for minimizing any interference with my job. He did a thorough job and provided excellent service.

Scott came out the day after I called to assess a rat and mouse infestation we had in the apartment we rent. He came on time, was very pleasant and after his assessment of the problem and estimate for his services-- he went right to work. We have 2 kittens in the house and Scott was VERY sensitive to their safety as he laid out the traps. The landlord was out of the country so we couldn't do anything about the building itself, but Scott did let us know where the problem areas were outside. He came every week to remove what was caught. Overall great service, great price and great attitude!

His name is Scott Gaston. He was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly thorough, fair and professional. He was a wonderful, wonderful person. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I signed a year's contract which meant if I had any trouble, he would come right out. I will definitely use him again. I compared prices at the time and his fees were very reasonable.

Scott arrived on time and, after discussing my concerns, set to work inspecting my house from the attic to the crawl space underneath. Once he completed his inspection, he informed me that although he found some old, undisturbed traps and poison, he found no evidence of mice or rats. He pointed out some areas where rodents could easily enter and explained how he could seal the holes. We agreed on a price and Scott returned two days later to perform the work. He replaced or re-sealed the vents around the foundation, the attic and roof and left a couple of rat traps in the attic and crawl space. Scott is very knowledgable about his profession and demonstrated his love of his work in the quality of service he provided. He is great to work with!

I adore Scott. I never thought I would like an exterminator this much. I highly recommend him. We had tried ourselves to catch this mouse repeatedly, but we had no success. Then we called Seaview. Scott does all the work himself. He responded quickly to an email, set up an appointment, arrived on time, explained the process, and followed through completely. Scott has a great attitude and seems to genuinely love what he does. I call him the Rat Hunter - because he seems to take a genuine pleasure in catching the rats. He caught a HUGE rat and was so pleased, his happiness was infectious, and I personally find the whole rat killing process unpleasant. Scott offers a 1-year guarantee when he seals off the house - for $450 and if the rats manage to break through his seals, he happily comes back takes away the rat and resets the traps. I wish more companies were this great to work with!

Now that the rats have returned he ignores my telephone calls and emails. I consider his recent behavior to be rude and unprofessional. I noticed on The List that he's now piled up a number of "A" Reports on his company and service. Maybe he has so much business now that he's developed a fat head and thinks that he can just ignore old customers (who got him there in the first place) and just take all the easy money jobs that he can find to rake in the fast cash. He wouldn't be the first Angie's List Provider to go this route (Karl's Carpentry and Fred's Plumbing Service come right to mind). I believe that if Angie's List wants to continue to have a successful AND trustworthy business model - Angie will have to step up to the plate and deal with this phenomenon of good contractors getting too successful too fast and not being able to handle it. Otherwise, Angie's List will become untrustworthy and will become just another Dot Bomb that no one remembers.
