Ron was on time, courteous and professional! He evaluated my problem and determined that I did not need his services. He then referred me to someone who can help me. I appreciated his attention and attitude greatly and will definitely get a quote when I can use his services. I recommend highly!

I have continually asked SB Construction to stop posting pictures of my home for advertising purposes, and they refuse to do so. This is why I feel the need to share my experience… the pictures they post do not reflect the quality of their work. There are multiple problems the contractor committed to fixing, and while blatantly ignoring my texts, he continues to post. It’s tacky and unprofessional. The dishonesty in saying this was a full home remodel is also incredibly frustrating. This remodel was supposed to be for my entire home. We agreed to start on the top floor with a 6 week time frame and then move onto the second floor. Well that 6 week time period turned into an entire year and I refused to move forward with this company for the remainder of my home. It was a horrific experience and the aftermath of the low quality work continues to haunt me a year and a half later. I have had to fix multiple issues and have spent thousands redoing their subpar work… yet the company continues to post the pictures. The pictures you cannot see are the walls left opened underneath the sinks… the leaks from the brand new sliding doors after every single rain… the damaged baseboards and flooring (both brand new) because of the nonstop leaks… the freshly painted walls bubbling up because the painters did not use the proper primer… the electrical issues that required walls to be reopened to assure that the live wires were no longer a safety concern… the dents and chips over all of my “custom wood cabinets and niche” that turned out to be MDF and not wood (as discussed). The list goes on and on. So many lies and so many mistakes turned this 6 week project into an entire year of frustration and lost money. There was also a constant turnover of subcontractors. To cover up that they had actually quit, the contractor would blame me. I maintained relationships with several of them who have helped me with my issues post remodel now that they are no longer working with Ron and his team. The original carpenter let me know that Ron specifically asked him to use the cheapest material and that is why they went with MDF vs wood. The carpenter that replaced him also told me Ron asked him to do the same. The subcontractors constantly complained about the lack of communication and would bad mouth the team whenever they were in my home. Because of the constant turnover due to the subs always quitting… because of the lack of attention to detail due to working on too many projects at once… because of the dishonesty and low quality work that was a constant theme throughout the project, I would feel guilty not sharing my honest feedback. When I saw someone else recently experienced the same nightmare, I felt bad for not sharing my experience sooner. If this review just helps one person not go through what I had to go through, then I feel obligated to share an authentic review.

Ron and his team remodeled my 2 bathrooms and I'm thrilled with the outcome. Ron was knowledgeable, fully honest, helpful and communication with his was great. He gave me great ideas and kept eye on every single detail. His team was also great. They cleaned after themselves at the end of every working day. They are real professionals. The project was finished on time, there were no hidden costs and quality is top notch. I would highly recommend SB Construction & Remodeling!

I decided to remodel my kitchen and I received 7 quotes for that project and the best quote came from SB Construction & Remodeling. Ron from SB Construction completely understood what I wanted to do and he also gave me great price, very competitive. Ron and his team showed up on scheduled date. They worked hard from first day to finish project on time which they did. Actually they finished several days ahead of schedule and quality is top notch. There were no mistakes, no issues and my new kitchen is beautiful. I love it and I would strongly recommend Ron and SB Construction to everyone!

I was looking for a reliable contractor for ADU Garage Conversion. I took my time and interviewed almost 10 recommended contractors any my decision was to go with SB Construction & Remodeling. I hired them because they gave me good price, most detailed answers and were available in short time. I also checked all their recommendations, reviews and they are highly recommended. Ron and his fantastic team were very easy to work with and it was a true pleasure to work with them. They did a high quality work, used high quality materials and final product is excellent. What else could I asked for! 5 stars!!!

They did an excellent job re-roofing our home. Everything went smoothly, passed inspection and done in two weeks. Ron and his team were outstanding and the yard was kept clean throughout the job. They respected the landscaping and none of our plants were damaged. Communication was ongoing the entire time and our questions were always answered. I highly recommend SB Construction & Remodeling!

I hired SB Construction & Remodeling on a room addition. It was a big project and big responsibility and I'm so glad I went with this contractor. Ron and his team from SB Construction were extremely professional, completely honest, very helpful and they did everything as I requested and all that at very reasonable costs. Ron helped us convert our garage into an ADU. The whole experience was outstanding and we could not be more pleased with the results. Ron was great to work with, he is a true professional. Once the work was started we had nothing but positive interaction from Ron and his team. Everyone was professional, courteous and friendly. We would absolutely refer and will be using Ron and SB Construction on any future projects we have.

All I can say is that we are very pleased with the final outcome. Our project consisted of 2 bathrooms remodel. We had collected multiple estimates for this project and ended up going with Ron and SB Construction & Remodeling. We felt really comfortable with him and we also felt like the price was more than fair after negotiations. He had a lot of ideas and by using some of them the project came out better than expected. The workers were courteous and always showed up on time as well as cleaned up after themselves. Ron made sure to be there every time there was inspection throughout the duration of the project so I was never inconvenienced if I couldn't be there during inspection times. All the inspections passed and I definitely rate my experience 5 stars.

I would like to say thank you to SB Construction & Remodeling . The best remodeling company I ever had service by. The guys were punctual , fast and very professional not to mention beyond kind and polite. Ron was the manager of the project of remodeling our kitchen and he was communicating with us the whole process . We were very pleased with the results . The price was very fair and they definitely will give you a great deal. Highly recommended contractor!

I couldn't recommend anyone else but Ron and SB Construction & Remodeling. I had an amazing experience with them on my kitchen remodel and couldn't of asked for anything else. I was looking for a reliable contractor for my roof replacement. I contacted several companies and I decided to hire SB Construction & Remodeling. Not only they gave me competitive price, they were available in very short time which was very important to me. Ron and his team showed up on time. They were extremely professional, quick and efficient. There were no issues, no mistakes and quality of work is superb. My new roof looks phenomenal and I would strongly recommend Ron and SB Construction & Remodeling! Very trustworthy company!

BUYER BEWARE! In October 2021 I entered into a contract with Ron Shaked/ SB Construction to remodel my 2bed 2bath apartment. I live in a high rise which allows a maximum of 3 months for small renovation projects. However, Ron assured me that he and his team of professionals could have the project completed in 2 months. This was great news I was excited to hear as i'd plan to live in the apartment during the construction. After working out the issues with his insurance coverage November 1, 2021 demo work began. The demo went well with the exception of one major detail. Ron's demo guys destroyed the cast iron tub i'd planned to keep. The following day the electrical team came. All went well (so I thought) until the city inspector came to do a ruff inspection and discovered Ron's team of electricians left live wires inside the walls (see pics). Things went downhill from there. Everything Ron, his subs and workers touched was a disaster. It got so bad the building manager stopped work on the project until we could get things under control. Work resumed but sadly things never got better. Not only did Ron's workers continue to hide electrical wires inside the walls but there were plumbing issues, carpentry issues, poorly cut/destruction of very expensive marble/porcelain slabs, horrible craftsmanship and a total lack of attention to detail. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I discovered Ron's workers had been urinating in buckets, coke cans and water bottles which they left throughout my home (see pictures). On top of all that Ron was double billing me for things he previously billed me for in the original quote. Things got so bad that I called into question Ron's credentials. Im not sure where Ron was getting his workers from but every other day he (Ron) was bringing/sending a different group of "workers" into my home who didn't seem to know what they were doing. Again I took my concerns to my building manager. She began running a quick background check on every worker. What she discovered was shocking. Some of his (Ron) workers had criminal records and when questioned they admitted they were day workers. Needless to say things came to a head as I could no longer tolerate Ron and his workers incompetence. I was spending my hard earned money for garbage. Instead of making things right Ron's solution was to abandon the project. After I surveyed the damage I requested a refund. Ron agreed to reimburse me but needless to say I never saw a penny so I decided to file a claim with his insurance company. I didn't get the full amount I was requesting but 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing. Needless to say considering the condition of my apartment it was very difficult to find a legitimate contractor to take over the project. No one wanted to touch it. After months of searching I finally found a great company to complete my renovation. Putting an end to an almost 16 month nightmare that was only suppose to take two (2) months to complete. BUYER BEWARE!

I decided to go with this company because I saw their work on my neighbors house and he highly recommended them. There were no issues during their work, all workers were very professional, clean and friendly. They did everything as they promised and final outcome is great. I love my new kitchen and would no hesitate to work with SB Construction & Remodeling again!

I received a several quotes for my roof replacement and the best option was SB Construction & Remodeling. They were also available in shortest time and that was very important to me. Ron and his crew arrived on scheduled date. They were so disciplined and quick that they finished new roof one day earlier, but the quality of their work is superb. Amazing work!! I am so thrilled with the work that Ron and crew completed in our master bathroom. They totally gutted our bathroom and reconfigured the shower to provide a much needed update. Not only is the bathroom stunning, the quality of workmanship is impeccable, Ron and his team were such a pleasure to work with. They are trustworthy, professional and friendly - I know those adjectives are not always associated to contractors but they exemplify those characteristics which make living in a construction zone so much more bearable.
