The provider was running late, but he called to let me know he was in traffic. Once they at my house, they got to work. My chairs were really dirty, but when they were done with them they looked really good. I was satisfied with their work and would use them again. The only suggestion I have is that you lay a drop cloth on the floor if you are having them cleaned in your living room because I had to mop up the floor after they were done.

He got lost twice, never showed up and said he was too tired of looking for the house that he didn't want to do the job.

The provider was responsive in setting an appointment in a timely manner. The provider was not on time. I called and left a message when he was 20 minutes late. He called when he was 30 minutes late and asked for directions, he said he lost signal on his phone and that his gps wouldn't work. I gave him directions. He called back an hour after the initial appointment time. He said he was still lost and he was too tired from trying to find the house to want to do the job. He made no offer to do set a different appointment and said I could go ahead and write him up on Angie's List, that he didn't care. I am really disappointed. I will give him credit that he did eventually call and there are many areas that don't have signal so I do believe that he had problems with his gps, but that didn't get my mother's carpets cleaned. I can't criticize his work quality but I am unhappy.

Renee and his crew of two arrived on time around 8 AM and did not stop moving until they left just after noon. There work was thorough, there demeanor was professional, and they were incredibly friendly. A pleasure to work with. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They came out and cleaned our entire unit. The carpet is great now, we had major stains they were able to remove. Pricing was fair, and they are a company i can trust. Thank you for the hard work.

Overall, they did a good job. They actually damaged a bench and they did offer to come back and take care of the damage but I didn't bother to accept the offer.

I used Rene for a refinishing job which turned out beautiful. It was a stressful experience since Rene is not easy to get a hold of once he had my tea set and I actually went to his studio address which was his home. Anyway, I called him for reupholstering and he stood me up for 2 appointments. I am now working with another source

Not very many details. They came in to do a job and did it in a professional manner. They were very respectful and did a FANTASTIC job. Will not use anyone else other than them.

The techs were very personable and the job was done well. The leader tried to up sell me on some additional cleaning items but was not aggressive about it.

They were left soaking wet and took 3 days to dry although they said it would only take 1 day to dry at the most.

He was punctual, professional and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. As a sole proprietor, he is sometimes difficult to reach, but leave messages, and he will respond.

Early in September, 2013, my husband repaired the garage opener using white lithium grease. A very large glob of this grease dropped on his back when he was bend forward under the opener. Unaware that this was on his back, he sat down and leaned back in a beige recliner and worked on a project for the next hour -- rubbing the grease into the fabric of the chair. I covered the back of the chair but was unable to schedule the cleaning immediately because of travel plans. After checking Angie's List and finding Mr. Guzman's special, I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Guzman at the end of September. Mr. Guzman missed this appointment, but responded quickly to my telephone call and we rescheduled for October 05. On October 05, Mr. Guzman demonstrated professionalism in all areas: arrived on time, did a beautiful job of cleaning the chair, was careful to protect the area surrounding the chair, and cleaned up neatly after the job was completed. I will definitely use his services again.

We have a vintage (40's or 50's) formica topped table with matching vinyl chairs that was a present about 12 years ago. ?The fabric on the chairs got really beat up over the years. When we moved to a new house, we decided to reupholster the chairs. ?I called and/or got quotes from several business (through Angie's List and Yelp and neighbors). ?I was surprised by the cost all around, but everyone said it was worth it because the set was so nice. ?The Rene Guzman Studio was in the middle to low end price wise, but not significantly. ?They did, however, have excellent customer service, were very easy and accommodating and the quality of the reupholstered chairs is superb! ?Even with our hectic schedules, the Studio made it easy to get estimates, come choose fabrics and pick up the chairs. ?I would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.

Our couch was in great condition, but had lost the firmness in the seat and sunk in certain places. We initially hired Rene to fix the springs under the cushions, thinking this was the problem. Unfortunately replacing the springs did not fix the problem, so we rehired Rene to change the foam in the seat cushions to something firmer. We are satisfied with the end result. We did have some challenges with trying to schedule the pick ups. Additionally, as a professional, I wish that he had provided the guidance for the need to update the cushions as well the springs during the initial job.

I purchased Mr. Guzman's 'deal' for carpet cleaning after talking with him to be sure he could meet my tight time schedule. I had to leave town early on Wednesday on a business trip and needed two carpets cleaned so that my house could be shown for sale while I was away. Mr. Guzman made an appoinitment to come on Monday at 2:00 PM. Monday morning he called to say he forgot he had a dental appointment and could not come Monday. We rescheduled for 9:00 am Tuesday, as I had an appointment at 11:00 am. Mr. Guzman never showed up at 9:00 am or any other time. I was left in the lurch and had to have my realtor be here while the carpets were cleaned by another company. NO ONE should EVER do business with Mr. Guzman.

It went well. The furniture looks good! They were punctual, clean in their work, and professional. I would you them again and recommend them.

They were good and their price was reasonable. They did a quality work and they were professional.

While initially it took a few days for Rene to get back to me (I believe they're a small operation), once we confirmed everything went extremely well. They called to confirm the day prior and I needed to change the start time a bit. Rene was able to accommodate. He brought one other person and they finished in about two hours. Was very pleased with the quality of the service!

It was a great experience. The rocker is fixed and the glass door panel is impeccable.

I had an extremely positive experience with Rene Guzman. I purchased a coffee table second-hand and needed it refinished on an expedited basis so that it could be shipped to a new home. I called Rene and he came to my home immediately. His estimate was reasonable and he took the table in his van to start working on the table immediately. I had the coffee table back within two days (hours earlier than I had expected) and it looked new!! Really, really gorgeous work and great service!

I was getting estimates to refinish an old bedroom set. All I wanted was an estimate and when I called, I was told this was not a problem. Rene came with one helper and he looked over the pieces . I told him I wanted it stripped of the old paint and re- painted. The set has some delicate scroll work and I said I wanted a harmonizing color on that. He said he would strip it and refinish it and wanted to know if I wanted it stained or left with the raw wood. I repeated I wanted it painted. He said ok, but it was clear he was not happy with my choice . He then gave me a verbal estimate of $4500, which seemed high to me, but I had no other estimates to compare it with. Since this was my first estimate, I was not prepared to simply agree. I told him that I was getting other estimates and could not make a decision then. He then dropped the price about $500.00 and said he could take the furniture right then. I repeated my intent to get other estimates. He again said he could take it then and when I requested a written estimate, he grudgingly prepared one. He was altogether indifferent when he left my house, acting as if I was wasting his time. I ultimately got other estimates, which was over $1000 less than Rene's last quote. I had the work done elsewhere and could not be happier with the result. The hard sell approach was unprofessional and demeaning.
