They did a good job, but were expensive. I think I got what I paid for. They were quick and they did everything very nicely as far as cleanup and installation. They finished the job very efficiently and in a timely manner.

The new furnace has greater heating and cooling capacity. Workers did a beautiful job with above average workmanship! Much stronger unit. Also, when I complained about the vent noise in my garden, they agreed to reroute vents (about 3 hours work) AT NO COST.

It took a bit longer than I'd hoped because of moving the furnace to a more accessible location, but I was told that would be the case. That required more ductwork than it might have otherwise. We asked them to add the dampers so we could get more heat to the second floor, and we hope get more AC when summer comes. The technicians were extremely professional and cleaned up everything when they were done.

They were very friendly and very good. The work wasn’t terribly expensive either.

They were very professional, very timely and very thorough. I didn't have any problem with them. It was a good experience to use them.

On 9/8/09, Luskin was scheduled to repair 2 leaky sinks at my home. They were schedule to come between 10AM and noon. They called me at 11AM to say they were running late and that they would be there in another 1 1/ 2 hours (by 12:30PM), they did not arrive, so I called them back at 2PM at which time I was told they'd be at my house by 2:30. The plumber finally arrived at 3:00. I had a 3:00pm appt so could not be there for the repair work. I asked the tenant in the guest house to let the plumber in and pay him with my credit card. I was never given any information about their hourly rate nor was I given an estimate of the cost of the repair work. As stated above, the plumber repaired 2 sinks, replacing a washer in one, and replacing the basket strainer in the other. Total time worked was 45 min. I was charged $508. I complained directly to the company, and they stated that they charged by the type of repair they do regardless of the time it takes them to make the repair. They said I was charged the price listed in their "book" and they refused to negotiate the charge. They did offer me an additional 15% discount for being late but refused to negotiate the price of the repair. I am especially aggrevated with this experience because I'm a repeat customer. Approximately 2 years ago, I had extensive plumbing work done on the sewage pipes under my house and paid this vender $4100 dollars. They give no break for being a good paying customer.

They are expensive but do good work. I started using them when I remodeled my kitchen. I went with them because I knew they were big enough they would actually show up and know what they were doing when they got here. I would recommend them to my friends.

When we discovered our furnace was not working, they were able to send a technician the same day. They provided a 3 hour window and also called 30 minutes before he arrived (which is great because I could stay at work until I knew he was coming). He was courteous and careful. He found the problem immediately and told me we needed a new thermostat. He gave me a couple choices of types, even though he had to drive back to the shop for the one I wanted. Since it was a flat rate, this extra time didn't affect the cost. I'm not sure the price was particularly cheap, but good service goes a long way.

I have used Burbank Plumbing for probably 15-20 years...they always charged by the hour. Now the plumber who comes out refers to a "price book". I was charged $190 for a toilet that would run periodically-he replaced the flapper. I asked him if someone else had purchased the company, but he said no. After reading other reports, it looks like they hire subcontractors so maybe that's why they are more expensive. I thought they just did that when it was after hours. I will look on Angie's List for a new plumber.

Needless to say, I didn't use these this company. When I asked the guy from the Drain Surgeon to leave, he actually apologized. Maybe he has a conscience after all.

Came exactly on time!!! Exceptionally good work. I have used Burbank Plumbing for the last 6 years and they have never let me down!!! Of all the contractors I have hired in my 10 years in Los Angeles, THEY are the best. They even call me a few days later to see if I'm happy with the work!! Burbank Plumbing is really an Oasis in a desert!!!

We felt they tried to take advantage of the fact that my wife was alone and tried to push her into agreeing with their proposal of replacing our plumbing. We will not use Luskin again. I can't complain about their punctuality as they were on time and since they did not fix anything, they didn't charge us for the visit either.

I was extremely disappointed and upset with this company. Everything they did was wrong. I was especially disturbed with their lack of responsibility towards their work. They were never on time, and the worst part of it is that they did not finish the job and still charged me a whole lot of money.

We have been very happy with them. They knew exactly what had to be fixed and got it done quickly. They were professional and reasonably priced as well. I would recommend them to other people because they really do a great job.

I have always used Burbank Plumbing and found it to be a good experience. Their prices are a little bit higher than the rest, but it is worth it for the high quality of work. It is always easy to get an appointment, and they are polite and clean.

Took advantage of broken sewer emergency to charge 5x for the job. Left dirt piled up on foundations. I discovered and made them come back twice to clean it up. I felt like they spent more time BSing me than doing work.

It went very well. I was billed for the job since I couldn't be home. The bill was as promised for $100.00. The amount charged fell very nicely into the range of 4 other plumbing companies that I had called.

I made an appointment for a home estimate on sat 11/4 between 10 PM - 1 PM. They never showed or called. I called their representative on Monday 11/6 and she couldn't give me an explaination as to why they didn't show. I will not use them.

I was told that I would be the first call of the day and that they would be at my house between 8:30-9:00am. They didn't show up until 9:40am. I called at 9:05 to find out where the plumber was and was told at that point that he was running late. No one called me to say that the plumber was running late. However, once he arrived he worked quickly and efficiently.

The workmen were efficient and courteous, but I was a little surprised with the final bill. When I called for an estimate they told me a basic cleanout would be around 100.00 minimum. I understand that this means the final bill could be more if other work needed to be done. The final invoice stated that it was a basic rooter service, but they charged me 160.00. When I asked why the charge was so much higher, I was told it was a two man job and they had to run a certain type of line. This was not explained to me at the time of service or on the invoice. I just wish they could have been clearer about their charges.

David came out and went through the drain system with his camera. He showed me everything as he worked. He gave me a great price and did an amazing amount of work, digging and replacing old clay with new PVC. He and his crew did a great job. I could not have asked for more.

Robert removed the dry wall using a hammer creating a sloppy opening. The repair was done and he did clean up. He advised my wife that the entire house needed to be re-plumbed because the joints where not wiped down and that created the leak. I got bids from three other plumbers, one of them being Jack Stephan and all of them said the plumbing through out the house was fine, the repair was not up to code and that the actual cost should have been under $300.00. They all indicated similar reports by other customers with Luskin. Avoid these guys like the plague!

The plumber came out, made it seem like it was an emergency and that we would have to replace the shower valve and drainage system to the main line for the whopping price of $6000. We were lucky to get a second estimate from a different plumber who diagnosed the problem as a cracked washer and fixed it quickly for $80. Beware.

Their pricing is reasonable, and it is always good service.

The plumber was a bit argumentative and defensive. He had to come back a second time because the work was not completed the first time, and he was not very cooperative about that. They wanted to charge me for a whole new visit. In the end, I didn't have to pay a whole new service charge, but it was quite a hassle.
