 + 9 morek everything went very smoothly except when it came to the city of LA not knowing what they are doing. Luckily R York construction knew how to deal with the city of LA and their inspectors. They showed up every day and always returned my calls quickly.
Description of Work: Constructed a 17 ft high x 75 ft long retaining wall in my backyard. Demoed and re-built an exterior staircase leading up to the second floor of my house. They also added a storage room underneath the staircase and stucco. For the stairs they installed tile to each riser with LED lights on each stair so it looks absolutely gorgeous at night. They also suggested I put the LED lights on a timer so I don't have to worry about turning them on or off in the evenings. They also reinforced the second floor so that I can have a cantilevered balcony.

 + 9 moreDru took a great amount of time to help us determine the most appropriate renovation for our needs and to follow through with the implementation of the plan we ultimately settled upon. He was extremely professional and thorough -- going beyond the ordinary by researching special needs we could have due to a disability in our family. He was always open to brainstorming alternatives, even when the scope of the project changed dramatically. I love the design of the tile he did in my master bath and the stain he did on my kitchen cabinets is amazing. He really put his personal touch in my remodel. Dru's crew was very polite, thorough and capable. Dru is very patient and understanding he listens to everything I have to say. We were always very comfortable having them in our home and quite pleased with the quality of work that they performed. Dru & his company has our highest recommendation we have used him since on a small popcorn ceiling removal and we will certainly use them for any further work that may be needed in our home.
Description of Work: Remodeled my kitchen & master bathroom. Drew up blueprints of the remodel. Opened up walls to create an open floor plan, installed new travertine on my kitchen floor. Installed custom cabinets in my kitchen & bathroom.

 + -1 moreI needed the job done on weekends and I needed to be discreet even though I had all permits. They came in. Framed it and one sided drywall. After inspection they closed and taped. After painting... Boom. T-bar in one weekend. Quick, clean, and helpful. Came back three times to address some concerns. No questions asked.
Description of Work: This was a small medical tenant improvement industrial job. They did the steel stud framing, drywall (including some lead board) with the taping and texture of course. Than after paint which they did not do. They installed the t-bar ceiling.
