I hired Professional Builders for adding 2 rooms to my house. It wasn't a small project but I knew it will be OK because I already worked with them and was more than satisfied with their work. The crew arrived at my place on scheduled time, early in the morning and worked hard whole day every day to make sure they will finish everything on time. The project manager informed me about working progress all the time. The final product was excellent, superb quality, Thank you, will highly recommend Professional Builders & Remodeling.

I hired Professional Builders & Remodeling to remodel my basement which was in pretty bad condition because we didn't use it at all. They gave me fair estimate, they described future project very detailed and promised they will finish on time. They really worked hard, all workers were very professional and helpful. The job was indeed finished on time although there were some issues. I am very satisfied with the outcome, my basement is brilliant. Thank you Professional Builders & Remodeling!!

Didn't hire this company, so I am baffled at why Angie's List keeps asking me to review them. And I can't enter "did not hire" anywhere before this screen, so I'm going this route. DISREGARD MY "GRADE" OVERALL. IT'S MOOT SINCE I DID NOT SELECT THEM. FIX YOUR SYSTEM, PLEASE. How do you give an overall rating to a company you didn't use?????????????????

I got a flyer on my door, and my parents home was long over due for some home remodel. So I said what the heck, why not call these guys. They had a very nice looking flyer with all the black and yellow and they had some specials going on at the time so I said this might be worth a shot. So I called their office to make an appointment, and we scheduled an appointment when it was fitting for my parents and I to be here at the same time because they are Spanish speakers. Ron came out at the time we made an appointment to my parents house. That day he even called us when he was on the way (which is a big plus). When he walked in, he came in with a roller bag, But let me tell you he was prepared with all the samples on everything we wanted to see plus more!! We started talking about all the work and he asked me to translate to my parents so they could understand the work and what is being discussed . He suggested what work had priority, he even educated my parents and I on all the products. With El Nino on the way my parents and I said that the roof had to be done. Ron gave us a reasonable price with, some hassle but that's all part of the game! He even gave us a senior discount due to my parents age. We shopped around a little bit before and he was the most reasonable and professional. When we were doing the work, Ron and his crew kept everything organized on time and with daily supervision. When they finished the Roof they even walked around with a magnet to pick up all the lose nails... Now that's detail!!! After all we decided to do some more work such as bathroom remodeling, flooring, Ext/Int painting, replacing doors, electrical work, gutters, facial boards, stucco repair, and converting a closet into another full bathroom, Which added a lot of value to our home. Ron and his Project manager Gal where there at all times, anything that needed to be fixed was fixed no hassle very pleasing to work with. They even changed a few tiles that were crooked with out me saying a word. I already recommend Professional Builders to my neighbors, friends and family. Their name lives up to their reputation. HIGHLY RECOMEND

My husband and I were looking to do a full remodel for a while. Then we found professional builders' flyer on our front door! We called the 800 number and spoke to Art who was very courteous and then he gave us a rundown of who will be coming to our house. The next day Aslan came to my house, he sat with us explained the full scope of the job and made us feel comfortable, he was not one of those pushy sales reps that try to pressure you he was very knowledgeable aswell. After the meeting was over my husband and I spoke about all the details and checked the prices, for the scope of the work and the amount of detail we got a great price after shopping around. So after doing our research we ended up calling Aslan back to sign a contract a few days later. After we came to an agreement 4-5 days later we started the exterior work, at that time we met Gal the project manager who was always on time and always was here to answer any questions that were necessary. At a point we also met the owner Ron who had some amazing knowledge and ideas to help us design the work. Everything was done clean professional and quick, there was always someone to talk to regarding questions. They even used a magnet to pick up all the nails after they finished the roof! When it came down to the interior everything was covered so there wont be any dust, or paint splatter. At the end of the job there were a few little issues that when we called Aslan and Gal were handled right away. I would highly recomend Professional builders to anyone who asks, great work, detailed, very nice and easy to deal with and on time and trustworthy!! Super impressed!!

I was so happy with the service Ron and his crew provided me with, I was more than happy to join Angie's List simply to share a piece of mind. I hired Professional Builders for a flooring job in my apartment. Finding them on the Internet, I was a bit scared to go along with a contractor I have found online and had no personal recommendation for. However, since the first time Ron came to give me an estimate, I simply knew that everything will go smoothly. The estimate was pretty thorough (even too thorough at some point) but I was explained exactly how much my project will cost, what will be done and how much it will cost. I was also able to look at some samples on the spot, which kinda made my mind right away. After signing a pretty straight forward contract, Ron's crew was in after only 3 days and the job was finished 4 days later. My new oak floors look amazing, nothing was broken, damaged or destroyed (a contractor miracle!) and all work performed was of the highest quality. I would gladly recommend Ron and Professional Builders to anyone in need of a reliable all-around contractor. I simply have no words to explain how happy I am with the whole project. Thanks!

I am still so happy and elated I can't sleep. Being a stickler (some would say a "major case of OCD"), I usually had a hard time choosing a contractor due to bad experiences from the past. With Ron and his guys, everything went ever so smoothly. I never felt pressured as I usually do when dealing with contractors. Ron was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning, being very courteous and professional. He was overseeing the whole project and has made sure that no mess was made around the house. The floor simply looks PERFECT now! Everything looks neat and tight, no crooked wood plates, no screeching and one can nearly use it as a mirror. The crew left absolutely no mess whatsoever and I even got a thank you card from Ron. Overall, a completely different (positive, of course) experience. I would ALWAYS recommend Ron and Professional Builders.

I couldn't recommend anyone else but Ron at Professional builders, I had an amazing experience and couldn't of asked for anything else. Ron and Gal at Professional Builders & Remodeling Inc. Do great work! They were here everyday and If I needed something they were a phone call away. If Ron couldn't make it Gal was there instead. It got to the point where I felt like I was number 1 priority!! I loved it ! ( as it should!) I had them build me a 15X13 patio cover in my back yard, and boy let me tell you did it come out perfect! Took them a day to do and they cleaned up and hauled away everything! No one bothered me they just came in did the work cleaned up and left. That simple! Then Ron came to do his "final" inspection which was so thorough, making sure everything was to detail. I do a lot of work on my own usually, so I know what to look for and what to expect out of a company. They passed all my test and went above and beyond my expectations. A must use if you want any work done, highly recommend! Very honest, detailed, and stress-free company!

The demolition of my existing roof was painless and the cleanup was superb. Either the owner, Ron Schweiger or his son, Gal were here practically every day during construction to check on the progress of the work and to make sure I was happy. On the days they couldn't be here one of them telephoned me. I got so much attention that sometimes I felt I was their only customer. The painting was spectacular. First they power washed the entire outside and then applied a very heavy base coat. The construction on the front porch changed the appearance of my home and now it looks nothing like any other house on my block of tract homes. The roof looks great as do the seamless gutters and of course my new and long covered front porch. The only work I wasn't 100%+ satisfied with was the cement and brick work...but with all else exceeding my expectations I was 90% okay with the cement work.

Perfectly happy with the service. Ron has been an acquaintance of mine for a while now so I hired Professional Builders to take care of drafty windows on my apartment. Everything was done properly and very fast. There was no mess whatsoever. I was happy with the price from the first quote and thanks god didn't need to haggle. Was given a contract, signed it and had the windows replaced with the ones Ron showed me. The windows themselves seem to be very high quality and look expensive and hi-end. Didn't have any problems with them yet and it's been more than a month since I had them installed (plus the exceptionally rainy last week of February). No leaks, no draft, no drama. The salesperson wrote a contract and specifications for window replacement and foam wall insulation. The salesperson even showed me a picture how insulation would be completed using little holes. This was important to me since the walls were recently painted. Before the 3 day contract grace period was up, an insulation installer shows up with no foam and equipment that would make huge holes in my walls. He did not speak English well so communication was a problem, but called the owner and this resulted in a change to install from the outside at an additional cost. No one could tell me how much was included in the original contract, just the incremental increase. After the insulation fiasco, Windows were installed but they were NOT the brand specified in the contract. Based on my experience I have no trust, would not use this contractor again and couldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Recently me and my wife hired Professional builder inc to remodel our master bathroom & our kitchen. We had a wonderful experience with those guys. The work was done in the time frame like they promised & they did a very professional and clean job beyond our expectations. We recommend working with them if you are considering any type of remodeling in your home. Thank you Professional builder! You guys are truly the best :)

They did all that was expected and put on contract and we were very happy with their services, we would definitely use them again, thank you so much for all your help Ron & Ausie.

Hired Professional Builder & Remodeling to remove the old popcorn from the ceiling and replace it with Orange peel, a three day job I was told. Five weeks later they had not only had they removed and replaced the popcorn ceiling but also replaced the counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, the kitchen floor, added new lighting and ceiling fans in several rooms, painted inside and out, as well as repairs to the outside of the house. All things that the house needed, but not necessarily planned for, Ron is a great sales man full of remodeling ideas. The quality of the work was above place woopar, the majority of the subcontractors he sent in were very professional and did great work, in particular the plumbers, electricians, handymen, stone workers and floor installers to name a few. Ron stood by his word, that if we had any complaints, he would resolve them. Bottom line is that Ron did good work for us; it was expensive, but good. To paraphrase Ron, “we’re not cheap,but we do high quality work”. Would I recommend them? Yes, but stay on budget, I didn't.

I hired them to paint while I was out of town. June 12 thru June 20. I hire him because he appeared trustworthy. When I returned, I inspected the house and noted that no nail holes were patched, 2 rooms were the wrong color and half of the electrical outlets were upside down. Doors were painted so heavily that they would not close properly. The owner of this company had a response that he lost his A.. on this job. He did send a crew back to patch the nail holes and patch repair the paint. He refused to repaint the bedroom to the contracted color as he blamed my son for this mistake. After this was finished, I noticed paint peeling off of the doors and frames (sheets 6" X 6" in size). It was obvious that no sanding or priming was done. The owner again sent a crew to re-sand, prime and paint the woodwork. They left a mess of paint splatter on my wood flooring, outside deck, lawn, counter tops, and appliances. When I told this to him, he stated that I was trying to rip him off. He said he would not pay his crew until I payed him. He said to not be surprised if his crew showed up to my door to get their money. At this point it appears the paint job is acceptable, however, not good, and 5 weeks of frustration is not worth it. I am not a satisfied customer. I payed him in full on July 25 to get this company out of my life. I have since cleaned up the mess on my own.

I was pleased with large scope of work for the price quoted. Aslan provided the bid and was very agreeable to work with. A six week schedule was laid out, and a few changes were made by me in scope of work. I found the work quality was superb, and I plan to use this contractor for future projects.

Job started in September 2008 with blueprints and excavation under house to recover unused space to make an entertainment and sewing room. Retaining wall was poured in February 2009. Job was to be completed in March 2009. On May 4, 2009 when finalizing the last details, Ron Schweiger told me that permits were not pulled for the job. I contacted LA Building and Safety and discovered that only permit available for electrical work. After contacting an attorney, we met with LA City Inspectors and correction orders were given to contractor. Ron started job without permits, did not have approved plans, did not build a stairway to code (it is too low) and accepted monies in excess of work done. I requested approved blueprints, receipts of monies spent (so I can verify the construction of the retaining wall is to code) and refund of money for work not completed. Ron would not respond unless I signed an affidavit that absolved him of his obligations and state that I had approved his working without permits and LA City Inspections. Ron (via his saleman, Aslan) did not contact me until April 2010 after I filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board, his bonding company and the Better Business Bureau. This is the worst experience of my life in regards to business practices and ethics of an individual and his company.

when they confirmed the appointment they insisted that they would only meet with both my wife and me together - no exceptions. Then when we spent 30 minutes with the contractor explaining what we were looking for he told us they wont give estimates, only contracts. I asked him to write up a contract so we could look over exactly what would be covered for the price he verbally quoted us, and I never heard back. Too many weird restrictions and lack of follow up with these guys.

THEY WEREN'T THE GREATEST TO WORK WITH. WE FOUND SOMETHING WE DIDN'T LIKE AND THEY HESITATED IN REPAIRING IT. THE PEOPLE WERE OKAY AND THE WORK WAS AFTER THEY DID EVERYTHING THE WAY THEY SHOULD. THE PEOPLE WERE EASY TO TALK TO.
