GREAT COMPANY... GREAT JOB. Ok these guys I called in to clean up the mess made by Mesa Garage Door (see my review on 2/3/11). I call these guys up to get information and pricing on garage door openers. They give me honest reviews of all the various manufacturers. I had already read up on Marantec, which seems to be top of the line (quietest, best warranty, etc.). They give me pros and cons and prices. They actually recommend both Chamberlain or Marantec, depending on my budget. Kudos, that they have their customers best interest in mind. I get a great price on 3 Marantec 4700e models. (Mesa was "giving me a deal" with Chamberlain motors at 470$ a piece). Plus they are willing to install next day on Saturday (Mesa's earliest was one week away (next Tuesday), despite my asking them to do it earlier since they screwed up my doors. Did I mention MESA SUCKS AND HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE). Jeby, the installers, comes to install and first helps me fix some of Mesa's mistakes. 2 of the doors railings are uneven and one of the rails is held in place with a scrap metal wedged under it, instead of a bracket. Unbelievable. So Jeby helps me correct this before installing the 3 new motors. He helps me program my cars as well and explains how to use the openers, goes over maintenance. Comes with 3 keyless remote entries, and 3 hand held remotes. Smooth installation. Price as quoted. Save yourself the headache and call Precision first. Or call them to fix Mesa's mess.

Our garage door stopped working completely. Precision sent a tech the next day, though they said it would have to be late. We were fine with that considering we park both cars inside. The tech came at about 6:45 and stayed till 10pm to complete the repairs. Since then, the door has performed so much more quietly and consistantly. Even though this turned into a major expense, I feel we got more than our money's worth out of the investment. Two years later, I'm still pleased every time I open that door.

Called and was quoted 89 - 149 for the spring + 75 to install. That sounded fair. Technician came out and immediately said that I needed two new springs ($300) + a new bearing ($75) + install ($75) + service call fee ($39.95). New total was $489.95. I freaked and told him that was outrageous and way more than what I was quoted over the phone. Technician said that he could waive the $39.95 service fee, but that was it. I told the repairman to do what he needed to do to and then called the office. I let them know that the tech they sent out was quoting me way more than what was originally quoted. They called the repairman and now, miraculously, I only needed to replace one spring and the bearing. New total was $300. I gave them the coupon off Angie's list (see above) for $30 off spring replacement, so my new total should be $270. At this point, THE REPAIRMAN WAS REALLY PISSED OFF AND UNPROFESSIONAL. He didn't even want to take my credit card #, so I had to give it to the woman on the phone. The woman on the phone did mention that this repairman "WAS BEHIND ON HIS QUOTA FOR THE MONTH AND THAT'S WHY HE WAS ACTING LIKE THAT." I don't believe that the bearing needed to be changed on the garage door. I was so frazzled by this whole experience that I forgot to request he leave the old bearing behind, so I don't even know if he replaced it or not. I did do a price check for the bearing that he claimed to have replaced and found them for $3 a piece. They charged me $75. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. THEY FIXED THE GARAGE DOOR, BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE REPAIRMAN THEY SENT OUT WAS A CROOK AND TRYING TO SELL ME THINGS THAT I DIDN'T NEED.

We only got so far as the estimate stage, and we will call the company again if need further work.

We realized after he evaluated the door, that the gauge and gears metal were wrong that was previously on it. So what we did was we spent the extra money and had him put in new tracks and rollers, and the difference was day and night. They weren't cheap but it was worth it.

Estimator arrived within the time frame stated to give us the quote. We accepted and scheduled the work. Work crew arrived on time, but had not been advised by estimator about "build-in" work required for rear garage door due to its size. Work crew had to improvise due to being unprepared for extra work.

The serviceman arrived when stated and professionally made the needed repair. However I feel that I was "gouged" on the price: Fuel Surcharge $9.95, service $40.00, Labor (one hour) $75.00 (took 20 minutes). Genie Screw Troll $112.00. (I priced this part on the internet $17.95).

When they came out to service the door, they didn't complete the job. When I tried to call, they never called back. I would not do business with them again. They tried to sell me things that I did not need. They misrepresented themselves.

The repairman came out within a few hours of my call. He immediately spotted the problem and gave me an estimate far higher than I got from another repairman. When I questioned him about it, he lowered the price to match the other repairman (who couldn't come out until the next week). I was pleased with the quick response, and the repairman's knowledge of the problem as well as the expedient fix. He was able to repair it on the spot, lubricate it extensively, and now it is working better than it has in a couple of years.

It went well. The technician was on time--even a little early, which was nice--and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had the new spring on his truck so was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in the same visit.

Received an appointment same day. Technician was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Will definitely use them again when it comes time to replace the door.

One of the springs had broken. I called and they scheduled and appt. within 2 hrs. They called a few minutes later to let me know that the technician would be delayed. I asked them to have him call me when he was on his way, which he did. He completed the work within about an hour.

I was pleasantly surprised when they could come out the morning that I called, showed up on time, completed his work in about an hour and the door is working great.

When I called Precision Door Service, I was greeted professionally and courteously. Friendly staff addressed my requests and accommodated me with an appointment. The technician arrived as promised, addressed my concerns and serviced my garage door. Overall, I am quite satisfied, from the office response to the job completion.

Excellent experience overall. From the initial phone call to the office until the moment the technician left my house, I was treated in a very professional manner and the problem with my garage door was resolved quickly and effectively.

Called on Saturday to schedule a tech for the following week. Was told that they could service the door on Saturday between 4 and 6PM at no additional cost. The tech did not show up and did not call. After several calls a tech came out on Sunday at 10PM. The tech waived the $55.00 service call fee for the missed appointment and was apologetic. The tech was very nice and professional and took the time to explain what he was doing. I had him replace the rollers because he did such good work. The parts were guaranteed for life, but were expensive.

WHEN I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THE DISPATCHER WAS VERY FRIENDLY, PERSONABLE AND HELPFUL. THE SERVICE TECH WAS PROMPT FOR THE SET APPOINTMENT AND VERY ACCOMMODATING. I THINK IT WAS LITTLE HIGH FOR WHAT HE DID, BUT WORK COMES WITH LIFETIME GUARANTEE. BETTER THAN THE COMPANY THAT INSTALLED THE DOOR.
