The salesperson arrived early and and provided me with all of the information I needed to make a decision including a discussion of the various door brands and models and a very competitive estimate. I decided on the spot to purchase a new door and it is scheduled to be installed within 1 week. The installer called to confirm my 9:00am appointment at 6:55am and woke us up. He then arrived 1 hour earlier than anticipated at 7:55am. The business should call and re-confim their appointments the day before, and then show up as promised. Not before and not after. This got everything off to a poor start. He did an adequate job installing the door, but complained along the way and rushed things because he had too many jobs scheduled for the day. He completed his installation with a couple of items not done satisfactorily, such as the door adjustments, the trim moulding and the opener adjustments. I had to call and complain to the company, first to the original salesperson, then to the office manager, and then finally I got through to the general manager, who came out to view the mistakes and discuss. He was embarrassed with the incomplete work and made arrangements to have everything corrected. It then took 2 other people 3 trips to get everything done correctly. Because of the problems and trouble, they did offer me a discount off of the full price and apologized for the inconveniences. In the end, they did ultimately stand behind their reputation and make good on everything; it just took a good bit of extra time, visits and my complaints to get it right. I had to work hard to get the job completed to my expectations!

Precision Overhead Garage Door Service was great. The gentleman came out when he said he was coming and he pointed out before we started what they were going to be doing with the rollers. When he finished he told me that that is what he found and the whole thing. I was very satisfied and I would use them again, as a matter of fact I even put a sticker up there by our button. He recommended some things about some springs and I decided that I'll pass on those things. I was very happy with him. I would recommend who had a garage door to use him. They were top-grade. I thought the price was a good deal. They did exactly what exactly what they were going to do and that's hard to find now a days.

It was fine--prompt, quick, professional. Don't know about the quality of the replacement hinges.

Tech showed up on time and serviced the door and didn't try to upsell me.

The original "deal" was just for the tune up, but other items were discovered as needing to be done also. This normally happens when you get a basic tune up, but we were expecting it because we knew what was needed even before the tech came to the house. A good job was done and we are satisfied with the service.

Hard cell for new door, motor, springs. Technician not too bright and could not fix intermittant failure of door opener. Handyman diagnosed it in 1 minute.

On May 18, 2013, Precision worked on my garage door and there was a dispute whereby I gave them an unfavorable rating. However, not only has this been resolved, but I would have to change that rating to an A. Paul and I have come to a mutually acceptable agreement and the Company has been very forthright in addressing the situation. I believe them to be an honorable and trustworthy company deserving of the numerous A ratings from other/numerous customers. Purchased a Big deal for Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. They did an inspection on the garage doors. I have a 3 car garage and had them install a door opener that I supplied on the third door. They replaced the springs on all the doors, and lubricated. They did a good job.

It worked out perfect. After he was through I didn't hear the noise anymore. He tried to sell a little more, but he wasn't too persistent so it didn't bother me. It actually worked out really good. I thought the service was good. He came out and did exactly what I needed. He was professional. It was a young guy and he was very nice. He did his job and I was satisfied.

They were great. There was nothing bad. The guy was very friendly, knowledgeable, showed me what needed to be done and were great.

It was good. He included some new rollers at no additional charge. Everything was good. I would recommend them.

All of the installation aspects were handled neatly and proficiently. He came to our residence the same day we called... He accomplished an amazing amount in a short time. We are very satisfied

They had to change the appointment time which was fine with me since they communicated that before, the gentleman arrived was very professional explained the issues and replaced the rollers, overall great experience.

When we called Precision Doors to discuss our bid and to see if we could get some color samples to put up, we never were able to directly talk to a live person. Always had to leave messages. When they finally did get back to us, they couldn't find our bid as their estimator was on vacation. They asked us to fax our carbon copy to them, but we were unable to get our machine to work that day. When my husband called them directly back he again had to again leave a message. After he finally got through, they told him that he could take it into their office in San Luis Obispo, which is about a 20 minute drive from our home. So, he got in the car and drove it in, only to find out that their "office" was a FedEx P.O. Box...not an office. When he called the company back, which evidently isn't really in our county, he once again never got to talk to a real person, and we have never heard anything back from Precision Doors. We have subsequently called another garage door company that is actually in our area, and got a bid for the exact same door at $400 less than the Precision Door bid. So, at this point, we are rather glad these people don't answer or return their phone calls with any regularity.

They got it done very quickly. They did a good job. They were professional. They came out to do a check for $49 and they replaced a lot of parts. They have good fair price. I had trouble getting in the system and they took him by the day to get out.

It went great. There is no big story, just that our rollers were replaced without any fuss about this or that being wrong. The tech did a thorough evaluation and found that our garage door was good.

I knew my garage door was not "well." However, the young man who came was polite, professional and all that good stuff as he delivered the bad news! It has worked incredibly well since it was serviced. Although a "surprise" - I have not been at all disappointed! Door is quiet. . .works well!

We saw the ad from Angie's list and decided to buy the service. We received a call from the company one or two days later and scheduled an appointment. The tech arrived on time and even called to confirm that appointment. He was very professional and explained the issues we were having with our garage door. He provided a detailed estimate and then went over it with us. The tech did the work we paid for and now our garage door is a lot quieter. The tech did not leave any debris behind and was very efficient. We will use this company again and suggest that you do as well!

Overall the technician showed up towards the end of the time promised, but was quick and efficient with replacing the rollers.
