After this spring replacement was done the door is so quiet and closes easily. It is all virtually like new! Very Pleased with the work and technician. Would not hesitate to recommend them yo anyone.

I purchased an $89 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and we were very happy with the service. They came out within four days after I called them for service. He had the spring with him so he was able to replace it while he was here. I think I ended up spending a total of approximately $400, including the Big Deal price.

Not only did he do the service advertised, he went out of his way to tighten the brackets, the chain, and made recommendations on maintenance. Very helpful and courteous. Will use them again when time comes to replace opener or door

Call on Aug 28,2013 for an appointment to get a quote on a replacement garage door. Appointment was schedule for 08/31/2013 and technician arrived on time. We discuss the type and construction of doors they provided with window options and the discount they give to AAA members of 15%. I made the decision to purchase a door from them. Since I previously purchase a replacement door opener about two years ago from them. Pre measurements were then taken plus a deposit was made. Also they had their main office call for a tech to come out to recheck all measurements about two days after. Sometime after labor day the main office call to see if I could make a change to my window selection since the manufacture could not supply in my configuration. This was completed and an appointment was set for final installation on 09/11/2013. They had made a 09:30AM to start my installation but change it to 2:30 PM which was completed in about 4 hours due to their workload . Installers were very professional and provide addition instructions on the operation of my door opener with this new door and all warranty instructions. What I did like most about this company is that they keep me informed through the whole ordering to installation. I would recommend them to others members for prompt and excellent customer support..

I had a few problems with this company initially, but they called me and made things right. Not only did they come out again with 2 very courteous and prompt service technicians, but refunded the amount I initially paid. All companies have problems here and there, but not all companies make right on things that might go wrong. This company did that, so very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

The service provided to me by Precision Overhead Garage Door Service was nominal. It wasn't great. He was supposed to tune-up my garage doors, but he tried to get me to replace them, and they're only four years old. My experience with him was disappointing, that he tried to get me to buy a new door when I clearly do not need it. I've had other people come and look at it and they didn't tell me to replace it. They used the Big Deal to get in the door and see what they could sell.

Precision replaced the rollers on the garage door and said I needed new springs, they were not the correct ones. I called another service the next day. They told me the springs were okay and adjusted the garage door.

It was fabulous. I chose to spend more and have the additional work done. I love the new keypad opener! The fellow that came was very calm, explained everything step by step, and gave me a choice that I need not repair this and it would be still fine for another year or that I could repair this and it would be good forever. So he gave me choices and I did have to decide what to do but he was very clear about it. I didn’t compare any prices but I was comfortable accepting the price he gave me. The quality of the job was perfect and he was very professional.

The young man charged me $39.95 for the service call. I wrote him a check for $39.95. He left without the check, I called Precision Door asking that he return for the check. Perhaps they could reach him by phone etc. Person phone said she would contact him.. I received an invoice dated 8/29/13 telling me my account was past due. I contacted others to find that a metal trim on the garage door had slipped over the door track. It was moved back into position. Whala door works great. Saved $800.00 plus dollars. Called Precision Door about past due billing. Elaine asst mgr. listened to the above critique, she seemed not interested and when I ask for the mgr.she busy in a meeting What do you think? I think this company is either incompetent or dishonest. This was my first and I think only use of Angie's list. I will pay this bill. I would like to be removed from your mailing list.

Placed the call per the ad and scheduled a date for the project to be completed. When the technician arrived we immediately had a problem because he indicated he only had white weather proofing strips on his truck. When I made the appointment, no one asked me if I required a certain color, etc. The Technician stated he could get the color to match my garage door but it would cost more or I could let him install the white stripping and paint it the color of the garage door.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT.

I wish this service went right the first time, and not after 3 appointments plus a complaint about the extra fees. But in the end, all is well. Their manager took care of the problem and issued a refund.

They did the work fine but they hard sold me the minute they walked in the door and were there attempting to charge me for extra costs. This was before they even checked the door out. The door is quieter and working better , but I didn’t appreciate the pressured sales tactics. They should of at least waited until they checked the door out! The guy that was doing the work did a great job, but the other person with him was very aggressive.

The tech was great. friendly and informative. the problem was the scheduling. I had it set up 5 days in advanced and they move the time 3 times before the tech showed up. the tech was great. Administrative scheduling sucked.

It went well. They showed up on time. Discussed areas for improvement. Made agreed upon changes. Answered questions

To replace the wheels the brackets needed to come off. instead if unscrewing each bracket he bent the metal back which the wheels roll on so he could slip the wheel out, then the hammered the metal back in place. Saved him a couple of minutes but this was clearing not the way to do it. He also told me I needed to replace the springs and continued to try to sell me instead of respecting my comment about getting additional bids.

Precision did a fabulous job in tuning up our garage door. Prior to the work being done, the door / motor was very loud when opening. After they came and worked their magic, my garage door is now a quiet as ever. The tech was on time and performed all of the work request and finished the job in a timely manner. I would definitely use precision again.

I used the Angie's list Deal to get the rollers replaced for $90, but I guess my problem was not with the rollers, but a cable wheel on the pole with the spring, the bearings were bad. He said that he could replace them for $180 and would take an hour. Just 15 minutes later he was done with everything! The speed of the service was great, but paying 3 x the amount of what I originally planned was not cool. Almost $300 for 10 rollers and 2 bearings and 15 minutes of work...almost doesn't seem worth it.

Work was performed ok, but the constant "Up-Selling" was disappointing.

The technician did not get to my house within the time scheduled. The first thing he did was try to sell me new springs for $300 plus and when I said no, I was selling the house within a year and I hadn't had any trouble with the springs, only squeaking noises when the door went up and down, he kept badgering me and kept lowering the price to try to get me to change my mind. I told him I was selling the house "as is", and $89 was all I wanted to spend on the garage door. After that, he was quite unfriendly and said I would probably have trouble. If he did a 21-point or 25-point safety inspection, I didn't see it. Also, he did not get rid of the squeak when he lubricated the parts (which were corrected the last time I had the door lubricated)

Tried to upswell services , and wanted to replace rollers for $500. I van get new doors for that price
