The price was reasonable, I would have wanted more clarification on the hours. I expected a little more. They were late but they called, they were responsive.

They worked continuous for 8 hrs. only taking 30 min for lunch. Everything was done to my specifications and satisfaction. They cleaned up well.

They were good and competent. They were agreeable. They came to look at what was needed to be done and they thought it should be counted as 2 hours but we agreed on an hour. They came back with the parts to do the job.

I purchased Power Up's special offer to address an outlet that was not working in the living room and possibly move an outlet in the bathroom. 2 1/2 hours later Frank and his helper had not only gotten the outlet working, but they'd also isolated an ancient smoke detector that was causing a potential fire hazard. They fixed that and moved the outlet in the bathroom, as well as brought it up to code. They were so nice and professional and cleaned everything up afterwards. The patching they did was perfect and the new hole Frank cut for the bathroom outlet was exactly the size it needed to be. Did I mention that they prevented my house from possibly catching on fire? I will definitely have them back to do other work. Thanks Power Up!

Did a great job the worker was on time and immediately began to work. He replaced an outlet and fixed a few fixtures. I was fine with the price especially since they did a great job. I would like to use these guys again as long as they keep up the good work.

If you can afford the higher price point of these guys' services, it will be absolutely worth the peace of mind you'll get when you work with this excellent company.

They were very good. They were very competent and agreeable. They were responsive. The work was excellent and we would hire them again.

They were great! They even called my HVAC contractor to make sure they had completed all that was needed for the HVAC job to be completed.

Two electricians showed up on time and completed the work, and also found another problem which they fixed for me. After the work was completed they cleaned up what mess there was. Very polite and helpful guys.

They asked me to email them my information and photo of problem. I emailed to them but no response.

Setting things up with Gabriel was a breeze. He accommodated my $200 coupon and sent a couple electricians to check out what work needed to be done and give me an estimate about how much it'll cost. They came back the next morning and finished the work as I described above.

Working with Power Up Electric could not have gone better. We had a great experience with the company, would use them again and absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work. They are a great company and do a fantastic job. Everything is done by the book with 100% safety in mind first. They also know their stuff, pull on their past experiences and do a great job of making recommendations. Not only do they do a great job with the actual electrical work but they take the time to make sure you are happy with the work. For example the placements of all the lighting takes time and making sure that things are finished correctly (i.e. helping to patch holes where they can, etc.) can be tedious. I spent countless mornings in the kitchen and throughout the apartment with the team trying to figure out the best locations for high-hats, heights of chandeliers, locations of sconces and Power Up was always very patient and really took the time to let you know that they care. That is mainly because I truly believe that they do, they care about the work and they care about you, the customer. If there is one thing I learned going through a re-model process it's that things will likely not go as you have planned and there will be bumps in the road and that is why it is important to work with contractors and people who understand this is your home and can connect with you on a human level. Unfortunately, we had some issues in the condo (which were not related to electrical) and the Power Up Team were very understanding and helpful throughout the entire process and I won't ever forget that. If you need electrical work done, stop looking here and hire Power Up Electric!!!

This is the second time that I've used Power-Up and will definitely use them again when the need arises. Martin is punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He, and his associate, did everything I asked them to do and answered all of my questions.

I will be hiring these folks again! They went above and beyond. I had some flex conduit that was rubbing, they fixed it. Completely rewired the remote controlled ceiling fan. Replaced some hazardous AC wall outlets that where smoking my walls! They may have just saved my house from fire!

What stands out was their availability and they were easy to talk to.

Talked to Gabriel Chan of power electric we made a appointment and he informed me that i would receive a call from frank who would be doing the work. frank was on time and i explained what i needed in 15 minutes tops. they got right to work they had drop cloths clean and patch there work work the four hours non stop.the cost was exactly what was quoted plus $20 for new electrical boxes and receptacles. very very happy with this job. It was excellent! Great service and the price was great. They sent two electricians. They were professional, courteous, and went the extra mile. I would refer them to others and use them again. They were punctual and me and my husband were very impressed.

Mr. Chan came out to my home and inspected the entire house. He sent me a proposal with pictures he had taken during the walk thru showing the areas that needed attention and what he proposed to correct the issues. We had an e-mail exchange to set up a start date and spoke on the phone so I could ask questions regarding how the job would proceed. Gabriel was professional and very helpful. He answered all my questions and concerns before the job began. The day of the job start Gabriel arrived with his crew and walked thru the house with me showing me where he would have to drill holes to access the wiring. As he had quoted in his estimate he told me it would take a week to week and a half to complete the work. He introduced his crew leader Frank, who would be there each day working with the crew and answering my questions or concerns as they came up during the duration of the work. They got to work right away and stared by removing the existing wiring thru-out the house. Frank discussed it with me beforehand if he had to make acesss holes bigger than what was on the propsal. the old cloth wrapped wires were bundled up and disposed of. They put down cloths to protect my wood floors and cleaned up all debris at the end of each day. The job went very quickly. They removed and replaced all exsiting two prong outlets and non-grounded switches with tamper proof grounded receptacles, and grounded switches. They installed additional circuits where NEC requied them in the kitchen, Bathrooms and Laundry room. They also installed a new sub-panel to accommodate new circuits as wel as updating the old Zinsco Panel. Things went so well we added some things to the job. 3 cable jacks, replaced the exhaust fan in our guest bathroom and had smoke detectors installed in the master and and guest bedroom. The only things we had to provide were Wall sconces for the living room and fluorescent lighting rods for the kitchen. They finished ahead of the proposed time allotted and gave me their assurances that should anything go wrong I could call and they would be out to make it right. NOTE: I had to call about a month or so later re: a false triggering on one of the smoke detectors and they came out the next day and fixed it. We were very pleased with the work and the polite, friendly assistance of Frank and Mr. Chan. They made suggestions that helped us decide on upgrades and they were not pushy or hard selling their suggestions, they gave us their opinion and let us decide what we wanted to do. I would definitely, use Power-UP again and have recommended them to my friends and faimily

Prompt, courteous and professional. I would use these guys again. Considering that the appointment was at 7:30am on a Monday, and I had to be at work right after that, I REALLY appreciated that they were on time. I was pleasantly surprised when they knocked on my door at the requested time. The quoted me a time frame and they easily completed it in the allotted time. thank you

Frank does everything picture perfect! We've used Power-Up in the past and they always do great work. They clean up and leave the house like they were never there. All the parts they use are top quality and Franks common sense makes design and implementation a breeze. They're all such kind people that it's really a pleasure to have Frank and his crew in our home. I wouldn't think of using another company!

I called this place because because it was the highest rated on angies list. When I called I spoke with a man that i could not understand. I really could not understand a word he was saying. He tone turned very aggressive like I did or said something wrong? When I tried to further understand what he was trying to say, we obviously were never going to get on the right page, so i hung up.
