It turned out good. It was a good deal but their normal prices are too expensive.

A little pricier than other bids, but well worth the small additional cost for the quality of work they did. I had a renovation completed, and the electrician did a pitiful job. Power Up had to come in and clean up the mess; not a desirable task for anyone. They were professional and efficient and did an outstanding job. The house is no longer a fire hazard, the circuits are all properly balanced and make logical sense now, and all of the sloppiness of the last electrician is gone. I would highly recommend Gabriel and his crew. They are honest, professional and balanced. They won't try to talk you into something you don't need. They have a number of clients who have owned many properties over the years and have used them repeatedly. I will probably be counted among them one day. Electrical is one of those things you can't mess with. A bad job can be life-threatening.

They cleaned up the dry-wall dust when they were done. I am happy with the work. Would use them again.

Unfortunately it was discovered later that the receptacle and/or wiring was not safe and gave someone a shock. this was traced to the original connection from the house. Although previous work had been fine and I didn't want to write a review, this was discouraging since they insisted that it was the house wiring that was at fault. I had it fixed by someone else.

everything was taken care of, but the light still blinked, they came back (for no charge) and it turns out, it is the light, not the wiring. they were very knowledgeable and helpful and put me at ease about the wiring in my house.

They arrived exactly on time. In fact,they were 10 mins. early and waited in their truck before they rang my bell. Martin and Miguel introduced themselves, asked me exactly what I needed done, and then brought all of their equipment into the house. They were very polite and very professional. They completely covered up my belongings and moved what needed to be removed from the area. Then they laid down drop cloths and covered all of my belongings. Every step of the way, they made sure I knew exactly what they were doing and that I approved. Everything was completed very clean and meticulously. When they were finished, you couldn't even tell they had been there. Except now I had a beautiful new fan in my dining/family room. I have NEVER hired any other company that was as thorough and professional. I was VERY pleased!!

The electrician was punctual, arrived right on time. He was very polite and friendly. got to work immediately. There was a part that needed replacement. He was very thorough and even cleaned my fan. He was very neat, made sure the area surrounding the area was covered and cleaned everything when he was finished. The entire process was very professional.

Gabriel came to do the estimate. He was on time and professional. It took a couple days to get the estimate back to us, but when it came it was very detailed - he even already included the Angie's List discount even though I didn't ask him about that. It was for around the same amount as his guesses when he was at the house. (He even threw in additional discount for doing both circuits, instead of just one). On the repair day, he sent a couple other electricians to do the job. They were also fabulous, professional and knowledgeable. They were the most considerate workmen I have ever seen. They wore booties inside the house - they never entered a room, even if the door was open, without asking permission first. They took care of the circuit creating/splitting jobs first (it only took them a couple hours). Then, they spent a couple hours on the AC issue we had (the AC kept blowing the circuit). On the estimate, Gabriel agreed that his guys would just check the AC while they were there, even though he thought it was an AC problem, not an electrically problem. He included this for free. On the day, we had some problems getting to the AC unit itself (it's on the roof). But the team spent a couple hours searching for every which way and attic crawl space to get to it. Way above and beyond the call of duty. In the end, we couldn't reach it, so they switched the circuits for the AC and the spa heater (which is rarely used). It completely solved the problem, and again they did this all as an added FREE bonus. This company was nothing but professional, efficient, and talented. I will definitely call them again if we ever need anything else fixed!!

Great work. Very conscientious with my antiques. The electricians were very nice and took great care to protect my home and clean up after themselves.

Purchased the Angie's List deal ($99 for 2 hours of electrical) to install a new bathroom fan. I called Power Up Electric and had the appointment scheduled for a week later. The crew arrived on time and installed the fan I had previously purchased. The job was done quickly and professionally. It took a half hour longer than what I had paid for, but I only had to spend an additional $25. Overall, I was very pleased with how efficient the whole process was. I would definitely call Gabriel and his team again for any electrical repairs or improvements.

Well. Not much to say. They fixed the electrical problem in my bathroom. Had the part needed in their truck. Did not charge me for the part. Great attitude. Family run business.

Basement work was difficult, as they had to run wire under the house to the main breaker box outside the house. Had to spend over an hour crawling around under the house. Not easy work. Total job was completed in approx. (3) hours. I think they did a good job, in a reasonable amount of time. The "big deal" price helped keep the cost reasonable, for the amount of time the job took. When the job was completed, I asked them to give me an estimate on a larger job for the house. I was told I would get the estimate by e-mail. Nothing ever came and I was not contacted again. I still want the work done, so if they want to give me an estimate, I would use Power Up again.

He repaired the holes in the wall the needed to make to run the wire and cleaned up his work. I work as was very professional.

This was the second time we purchased a Big Deal for their services and the outcome was excellent. They were punctual, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They made such precise cuts in the cabinetry to install the outlets in the kitchen island that you cannot tell they were not originally installed. They had to move two of our smoke detectors since the city inspector said the previous electrician installed them too close to the a/c vents. Code require they be at least three feet away and the other electrical company would not come back to fix the mistake. These guys from Power knew the code and even advised us on other future work to improve our system. It took longer than the two hours to perform the work and we paid for the extra time. The only negative was that the apprentice helper was being trained and we feel that slowed down the job, but overall Power Up is great.

Electrician arrived on time. Studied problem of faulty light switch in bathroom. Decided a new switching mechanism was needed. Had the replacement part in vehicle and repaired the switch. Spent the remainder of the 2 hour period going through the house checking the other lighting fixtures and switches.

We have used Power Up Electric on two different occasions with Angie's List Big Deals. Both times they responded quickly to our request for service, were courtesy, polite and timely. We would use them again without hesitation.
