They did a great job. Explained what they were doing. Listed to what I wanted and provided expert advice. Suggested that I will need entire house rewriting and gave me a reasonable estimate. Was not a hard sell. I will call them to do more work when needed.

They were on time and answered all of the questions that I had. They answered my questions I had on something else I wanted advice on . When I called them with my coupon offer, the owner told me that it had just expired but he would honor it for me. He as able to make the appointment day and time that requested.

Well to start, Gabriel (the owner) spent 15-20 minutes with me on the phone when I first called trying to help me resolve the problem (in case it was something simple) so that he wouldn't have to come out and charge me. We finally determined that he did need to come out and he agreed to come out on a Friday afternoon on one of the hottest days of the year because it was convenient for me (I know it wasn't very convenient for him being late on Friday). Once at the house, he was careful and methodic and kept me updated on everything as he moved through the troubleshooting. In the end, they found a damaged neutral wire in the breaker box and repaired it. While he had the breaker box open, they tightened all of the other connections and checked them electrically, checked each breaker itself to make sure it was still in good condition and even checked each of the bar connections/integrity. I work in Aerospace and they reminded me of our flight technicians that work on spacecraft as they were just as careful and just as thorough. The discussion we had during the process was also helpful to me in case something similar to this ever happens again. Gabriel also replaced an aging GFI outlet in our master bathroom without extra charge which was much appreciated. I was a bit lucky as the problem was isolated to a single connection in the breaker box - however, this wasn't easy to see or find and the thoughtful and methodical process they followed during their troubleshooting both was effective in finding the problem but also in avoiding unnecessary and expensive diagnostic time/repairs. I chose this company because of the Super Service Award posted on the website - I can certainly see why they received this award in the past and they absolute deserve this type of recognition again based on my experience. They did an absolutely superb job for me. I think I now have my "go-to" electrician for any future electrical work that I need done.

Martin was very helpful. We had very old fans with old electrical in our den and Martin was able to replace the fans and the electronic controls. They cleaned up well and made sure that everything worked correctly before leaving. He was very pleasant and I felt very comfortable.

They were nice and professional but unable to so the service I needed.

The service turned out really good. I was satisfied with what they did. They were very patient and respectful, professional and kind and they did a good job at solving a problem that had a little complication.Their pricing was good.

I used a subcontractor my realtor recommended but I needed to redo all of their previous work. The "sub" did work that was clean and made my property look cheap. Power Up Electric was professional and more efficient. They might cost a bit more but I ended up losing $1500 on the "sub" and I could have used that money for Power Up. it's a family business and Martin and Gabriel really know what they're doing.

Went well. Technician was able to salvage my pre-existing wiring. I had some time left over, so he helped me replace a kitchen light switch with a dimmer switch.

I purchased a $99 deal for two hours of labor, hoping that it would cover two projects. However, the two electricians that came for the service call spent almost the first hour trying to install a pair of three-way switches, which seemed excessive. I ended up purchasing additional time. They did a better job installing a new electrical outlet and coax outlet in my home office, rerouting some coax cable from another room. The finished outlets look good and were installed squarely in the drywall. Before leaving, the technicians also fixed an electrical problem in our air conditioner. They were very knowledgeable about the problem and did not charge me excessively for it. The technicians arrived on time, were polite and cleaned up after the work. The only reason I am giving this company a B is because the electricians were not able to perform what I consider a simple switch installation in a reasonable amount of time.

This was the second time I had Power Up Electric perform work for me at my house. The first time was in the Summer of 2012. Based on the positive experience I had back then and reading other Angie's List reviews, I emailed the owner Gabriel Chan with the date I needed and the scope of work I wanted performed. I had to have the work done that specific day because my attic just got cleaned out the day prior and new insulation was being installed the following day. I am again extremely pleased with Power Up. The crew - Martin (Gabriel's son) and Miguel arrived as scheduled and right on time. I went over the scope of work with Martin once he arrive. Martin gave me suggested as to location of the ceiling fan. lights and switch location in the crawl space. What I really appreciated was when there was critical step to be performed, Martin would come over asked me for concurrence like for the exact location of the ceiling fan and the switch. Also, as things progressed with the scope of work, Martin made a suggestion to add two junction boxes rather than running a single long string as I thought I wanted. I decided to add the junction boxes for when I decided to do more remodeling. They also helped me identify and dispose of old cabling and wires in the attic associated with an old antenna system. I had purchased the $99 ceiling fan special coupon on Power Up's Angie's List site and basically received one hour of labor time the job. The cost of the job was fair and worth it. When I have a need to more electric work, I would hire them a third time!

The guys that came out to do the work were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. They gave me an estimate to perform the work and brought the job in at the exact number of hours originally predicted. Though I brought them in to do a specific job, they alerted me to some other wiring that had been installed incorrectly and was creating a fire hazard. They were able to adequately correct that problem and were able to answer all of my questions about the process of fixing it. They even tipped me off to an Angie's List coupon that ended up saving me a fair bit of money. I would highly recommend them, and I plan to work with them again in the future.

They were extremely professional, courteous and skilled. Responsive to our wants and needs. They did a great job, that was well worth the money I paid.. They correctly troubleshooted an unusual wiring problem. Gabriel, the owner, called me after the first day to ask me how the job was going. I really appreciate that.

Power Up Electric Inc were outstanding. They were prompt and professional. The guy went out of his way to go ahead and fix my outdoor floodlights which I was having problems with. He gave me tips on electrical issues on the lights outside. He was great. I would use him again, definitely.

Gabriel at Power Up Electrical was thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with. He gave a good estimate before the job, and when the job changed a bit he gave a reasonable adjustment in advance and stuck with it. The job required some careful and creative adaptation, including some concrete cutting and unusual bends - Gabriel and his crew made good suggestions, and were flexible in reaching a good solution, with no grumbling. Gabriel's communication was great - giving me confirmations by email that the job was booked. When he thought his crew's arrival might be delayed a little, he sent an email the day before, not at the last moment (and then the crew was essentially on time anyway). I really appreciate consideration for the customer's schedule. I would gladly use Power Up again and strongly recommend it.

I didn't realize that the $99 coupon was only good for like six months or one year. I called them up and they still honored it which was terrific. They came out and did a little bit more work and all the additional electric at the same hourly rate which was also pretty fabulous. They were great and they did a great job.

I am converting a spare room into a media room. Specifically needed electrical sources on a wall where the TV would be mounted. Frank and his assistant arrived on time and were exrtremely polite. They not only knew exactly what I needed done but they also suggested ways to hide the wiring of the components to be installed later. The whole task was completed in 2 hours. They did very good work and were especially helpful with suggestions. I always fret over home service providers trying to "up-sell" me with something I do not need or is outside the reason that I called for their service. They alleviated those convcerns. I was very impressed with the whole interaction. I would definely use them again and will refer their services with a glowing reccomendation.

Great. Such a nice guy. very calm. Fixed the issue on the spot. It was quite a fire hazard so great that he came so quickly! Was the only one who answered their phone at 7pm night and was able to come as early as 8am the next morning. Affordable. He's now the one we'll always call for electrical issues.
