Gabe and Frank and the team are professionals in every way, they took care of all of my requests without any issues. I would use them again and again. On the last day Frank left his guys at my house to do some simple work without supervision and they did some shotty work but after talking to Gabriel they came out the next day and fixed the issue without any hesitation. I think they blocked my calls because I am a pain in the butt or as Gabe says TMobile provides really bad cell phone reception but they are extremely nice and I would use them again and again.

Martin is always the best! It was not an easy job (attic access, etc.) and he is the kindest and fairest person I've ever dealt with. Will always only use them! (cost included cost of new Panasonic fan)...

I have used Power up before with complete satisfaction. Frank replaced about 250 feet of cable and conduit and 6 LED low voltage lights. The driveway is very narrow and is bordered by a 2 foot wide shrubbery bed. The juniper planted in the bed has heavy roots that impeded digging of the trench for the new conduit. Also, there are other pipes in the trench. Frank and his crew dug very carefully and avoided damaging the pipes and the Juniper. He covered the trench with good dirt to rejuvenate the plants. Frank asked me to check that the work was satisfactory. I checked the lights after dark and found that some of them were not high enough to clear the shrubbery,. and did not illuminate the driveway. Fran is returning to fix this problem. This company is very knowledgeable, competent and considerate. Don't use anyone else.

None could be accommodated so I reluctantly accepted a time they COULD do the work - but asked the company to answer some basic questions first in order to help streamline the process. Martin Chan (of Power Up Electric) was clearly not really reading my e-mails fully (and admits he did not read my last one at all) wherein I had told him NOT to come the morning of July 21st. With him not being able to answer the basics of what the job needed - I told him I would have to sort out - and purchase - the right fixtures in advance of setting a firm date. He ignored this request and continued to say his team would show up the morning of the 21st. I have decided I cannot work with a company that does not follow instructions and requests accurately. Please issue a FULL REFUND.

They were punctual and finished quickly. Also they cleaned up the site and hauled away the trash and old fixtures.

The guys did the work as promised. The only issue was that there was supposed to be a follow up estimate delivered that we never received.

Martin and his team arrived right on time. They installed 14 recessed LCD lights in the ceilings of my living room and family room. The job was complicated by the fact that these rooms are located on the middle floor of a 3-story house so additional holes needed to be cut in the ceilings to pass the wiring through the space between the floors. The work took one and a half days, as they had estimated. They did a beautiful job patching the ceiling holes and left the house clean as a whistle.

They are fine. Their very good, I'll probably use them again. Their nice to work with and easy to work with. They same to be honest as well.

The entire experience with Power Up was excellent. The team arrived on time, was extremely professional and pleasant, very knowledgeable, quick and efficient. They got more done in the time allotted than I even expected and were honest and up front about some work I needed done that wouldn't fit into the time. I would highly recommend them again without hesitation.

Power Up was awesome. I called Martin Chan on a Monday morning and hesaid they could be there within 20 minutes. They came over, took a look, and gave me an estimate. They needed to go get some parts, but were back quickly, and then took care of all the work. From my calling them to completion it took about 5 hours total. Fully recommended!

First of all Gabriel is very organized and professional. I called and followed up with an email request for service. I was given an appointment that was convenient for me right away. On the day of the appointment, Gabriel's team came on time. Very professional and polite. Presented themselves, gave me a card and asked how I could be helped. The two technicians assessed the needs; Install new fixtures and rewire switches, and recommended best course of action. They then provided me an estimate and got started right away. They worked very cleanly (putting blankets on the floor etc...), and worked fast. Very thorough and meticulous. I will certainly call Gabriel and Power Up inc. again.

Frank and Vladimir were punctual and very pleasant and professional. They consulted with me at each stage as to locating the switch and to ensure that the fixture was hung to my liking, They left my kitchen clean. I shall definitely hire them again.

On the website, it states that the estimate is free, however I was charged $95.00. I left the company there with my tenant and paid them to fix a light fixture, but I am unsure if it is fixed, and had to pay an additional $95.00 for that as well. The estimate was quoted 15,000.00, but they refused to put it in writing. The owner, Gabriel, made a lot of allegations saying that whoever worked on the electric wiring before did it all wrong, but refused to write that as well. He did give me a written estimate for an alternate way to fix the problem ($3,150.00) which is a huge difference from 15,000.00 that was not in writing.

This is the 2nd time I've used Martin and Power Up. It's a relief when you can find sub contractors that are reliable, reasonable, punctual, and do great work. These guys are amazing across the board, and it's great to support a family business. My landlords handyman was not capable of doing the work correctly, so I called Martin knowing I could trust the work he would do. It was a whole process to get my new landlord on board and Martin was amazing about helping to make the case as well as come to our location twice before any work could be done. He was patient and direct with us about what needed to be done at minimum to get our grounding sorted up to code and working properly. He listened to what my needs were and provided extra strong bonding to make sure there would be no issue with the circuit since I had a number of computers and office equipment running off the outlets. After two experiences with Power Up, I'm happy to say we have their number on file now for any electrical work we might need at our home or office. Definitely have these guys come out to bid if you need some work done, they're fantastic.

They were in contact with me the same day as I made my service request and set up an appointment for a few days later. The electrician, Frank, was right on time and very friendly. He quickly figured out what the problem was and fixed it. Unfortunately, during the service he had to turn our breakers on and off to figure out which one was working the fan. One of the breakers was bad and did not turn back on. We only noticed the problem that evening and Frank came back to fix it after the weekend. I have nothing but nice things to say about my dealings with this company. Very professional and friendly.

Mr. Chan came by within the hour. Replaced outlet and advised no damage to wiring. Explained current standards for kitchen wiring. Completed all quickly at low reasonable cost.

Because we have had such positive experiences with Power Up in the past, we hired them to repair the wiring in our house. Gabriel was able to schedule our job very quickly and send our regular crew that is familiar with our house. It turned out to be a much, much bigger job than originally anticipated, in large part because the work the previous contractor (who is not on Angie's List) had done 15 years ago was unsafe. We feel that the price for the job was extremely fair given the scope of work. There were 3 crew members every day who showed up on time, were very professional and conscientious, and left the area clean at the end of the day. We recommend Power Up very highly!

Another great experience with Power Up! Scheduling was very easy, and when Frank and Vlad arrived, they assessed the situation and gave me an estimate of how much time the job would take. Both were very professional and helpful. They made sure that I was not inconvenienced by the power disruptions while they were working and got the job done as discussed. They also let me know about other potential issues for the future and left the area as clean as they found it. I would definitely recommend them!
