Booking with Gabriel was a breeze. He got me into their schedule quickly and sent out two very knowledgeable, courteous and professional guy, Mark and Wilson. Thoroughly enjoyed hiring them and have already booked them for something else!

Power Up Electric was prompt, courteous, friendly. They installed our vintage fixture perfectly which was a challenge because of the old hardware. It looks great and it's safely installed. They were careful in their work, gave us some really helpful info, cleaned up nicely after finishing, overall great. Would be happy to call them again for future projects.

It went very well. Both guys showed up at the prescribed time. They listened to my concerns and what I needed/wanted. After I described what I needed, they told me it should be done within the two hours. Once they described the job to their boss, it was a go. They also made a note to me that I have a dead pool light. They made sure it wasn't "hot" so that any one swimming would be safe. They quick and swift and cleaned up. Job took 1.5 hours.

Everything went well. Two guys worked for four hours. Professional. Would hire again.

i could not have been more pleased! They went above and beyond the call of duty to finish the tasks I had asked for. Completely cooperative and professional. They clearly understood what I needed done and went after it at a quick pace. Pleasant and considerate people to have working in your home. Very reasonable price for the materials they furnished. I plan to use them again.

I messaged and and Mr. Gabriel Chan responded quickly. We set up an appointment and Martin Showed up on time with a humble positive attitude. He gave me an estimate and i agreed to call him back to schedule. Moments later the owner called advising that a mistake was made with the estimate a $60 dollar difference was added. My home had a tight space to crawl under for one of the receptacles so i thought the price was still within a reasonable range especially with them sending two workers. I said that's fine lets do it. Martin showed up on time with his assistant. Both of them were great to work with. Martin is so cool he is very down to earth and has a great attitude. They went straight to work. I had to leave to work but i received a call from Martin advising that the work was done. The work was done within the estimated time. I will use them again in the future.

The two arrived promptly and explained well their plan. After checking the work of another electrician, they confirmed that all was well but also find some new problems. The house has old wiring mixed with new wiring, indicating that it was not complete in the renovation. No wonder I could never turn on the light when I entered the house, the previous electricians simply never connected one of the switches to working outlet that could power a lamp or some light when entering the house. After thinking about three different alternatives, they determined an economical way to fix this and stayed within the cost of the certificate for Angie's list services. The two were honest and also good workers. I will use them again.

5 new lights were installed or replaced in a 90-year-old home. The electricians are knowledgable, professional, and fair. the work is high-quality and I will be using them again.

They installed the interior light fixtures and the outdoor fixture. They were on time, professional, neat and very nice. We will definitely call them again if needed:)

It went EXCELLENT. Initially, we thought we would have to drill through the cabinets in the kitchen in order to run the electrical wires. However, the vendor was able to complete the wiring without having to drill any new holes. It found a creative solution (by running the wire in the crawl space).

They were extremely responsive and on time. They were clean. I love them!

I had the four hour deal with two electricians at 2 hours each, for total of $199. I was very happy with the service. My new lighting fixture was a bit heavy and complicated. I really appreciate the extra care they took to install. They fixed the faulty outlet in my bedroom and moved another bedroom outlet. The task was a bit easier since there was already a hole in the wall for the new outlet...but, the service happily exceeded my expectations!

Gabriel and his team are fantastic to work with. First impression: Gabriel answered his cell phone on my first attempt at contacting the company. After discussing my needs, Gabriel and I began communicating via email to determine the best date/time to schedule a visit to my home in order to provide an estimate for the job. Frankly, communicating via email ensures accuracy on behalf of both parties which I appreciated. Gabriel arrived as scheduled which is important to me as I had limited time and availability. Once a solution and price was agreed upon, Gabriel promptly arranged his team to perform the work. Gabriel, Martin and Jose arrived on time and were a pleasure to work with. Polite, courteous, and most of all, they knew what they were doing and completed the work in an efficient manner. I plan to turn to Power Up Electric the next time I'm in need of electrical work at my home.

First, Gabriel came out himself when another employee got tied up elsewhere, and he was timely and professional. Diagnosis required testing power and wiring connections at the pool pump timer, a junction box below it, and our main power panel. Gabriel identified the (wire failure) problem and we discussed options. Fortunately we had a secondary panel in the garage, so new wiring could be run from there to the timer on the outside wall of the garage, rather than going all the way to the main panel. Before he left, Gabriel called his son, Martin, and another team member, Jose, to come over so they could discuss how to proceed. Once that was done, Gabriel promptly scheduled the work for the next morning. The job required inserting a new breaker in the secondary panel and running wiring inside conduit around the garage, to a point where they could drill through the wall and run the wire to the pump timer outside. Martin and Jose arrived promptly at the designated time and got to work immediately. They had to move a lot of the stuff that garages become full of to reach the areas where the work was required, and they not only did that, but swept up afterward, before replacing everything exactly where it had been. They did a fine job with the work and were a pleasure to work with. I think we've found our "go-to" guys for electrical work from now on...

Martin and Jose arrived on time and were very professional throughout their time. I just bought my house and asked them to avoid walking on a couple of white area rugs. They were both very respectful of my home. They stopped several times during their work to ask me my preference on how a fixture was positioned. I really appreciated this level of detail. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The service for the big deal fromPower Up Electric Inc worked great. This was great. I would grade them an 'A' for everything. Great people. They did a great job. They were on time. It took them a couple of hours to perform the service. They provided us with the final invoice because they added a few things and had stayed longer than what the offer was for and they did a good job. I would definitely use them again. I would definitely recommend them. There were no unexpected issues during the service, there was really nothing. Everything was great. They fixed everything that they came for and that we called them for. It went good.

I submitted request for bid on the job and received an answer within the week. There were a number of ways to accomplish the job and the bids reflected this. Power Up's was the most expensive though they seemed to have the most breadth of understanding as relating to the job. Gabriel and I discussed the methods and schedule. I decided to overcompensate as far as electrical capacity was concerned. I also agreed to facilitating a possible future PVC route for fibre optic cabling as suggested. So these were extras added the original bid which was $23,645. Work began within the week and was to last 1 month, which it did. I tried to be as meticulous as possible about giving the tenants of the residences as much notice as possible when interior access was needed and Gabriel had the accurate answers when i needed them. The small work truck arrived at the site everyday (no work days were skipped, there was one saturday worked for convenience purposes). Staging of materials was done in a garage on the property. When the wiring was done, Gabriel and i scouted sites and angles for various security lighting. All lighting was on photovoltaic switches and need no further attention. There had been an initial inspection from LADWP and Gabriel received the inspector advising me to take the inspection off. His logic was that with old buildings like the ones in question, an owner could do him/herself some serious damage by inadvertently calling attention to an issue the inspector might consider citing. I've been around a lot of inspectors and i know when to keep my mouth shut, so i appreciated the strategy. 4When the job was over, we then waited for the inspector to return. Surprise! It was a new inspector! To put his stamp on the job, he called for a concrete slab to be poured in front of the meter box so that future DWP workers would have a special place to stand. It is actually more hazard than convenience, but it was well executed by Power Up. I need to say that everybody on the crew was pleasent and helpful. The work all LOOKS good including stucco and concrete. Yesterday, Dwp finally returned to install meters and Gabriel was still on top of things, notifying me of this. I went into this job expecting a huge headache. No headache. This was a pretty model experience. Final bill: $28,000. Extras: upgraded service, PVC channelling, demo and stuccoing, city-required cement slab and mast, permits. Hire this company.

Well. Mr. Chan appeared knowledgeable, professional & kind, but can not afford the extra money right now. I feel he would have done a good job if I could afford to hire him. That is all, no actual electrical work was done.

It went fantastic! I had bought an Angies list special and Gabriel emailed me that he wouldn't be able to come until the following week due to the rain. I had said if anything became available to let me know and he was able to send out Martin today and he and his worker were on time, professional and very thorough!! I will definitely be using them in the future for any of my electrical needs!
