They were relatively pleasant to deal with.

Those guys failed to show up, they never contacted me they never showed up, so I guess the review would be poor service. Well I guess what you would say irresponsible

I contacted the provider to schedule the tub and tile cleaning that was advertised for $49. When I called, they tried to sell me carpet cleaning (I have hardwood floors throughout my house). The man then told me that he didn't really do the tile cleaning and he'd have someone call me back. Have not heard back since. Seems super shady and I'm currently trying to get a refund.

purchased to only clean the ceramic tiles. got persuaded to do the whole house carpet--bad choice. much work were rushed, not clean at all. tile grouts were not cleaned properly nor were they sealed afterwards.

It went okay. I paid $50 extra. The carpets weren't perfectly cleaned.

Took two men about two hours. Happy with the the result.

Professional, and tub looks a lot better, but not as smooth on the bottom as I would have liked. It would have been great if they had called me to see how I liked it, as you can't tell the day of.

This review is from my husband: When the two were about to leave, I noticed a soapy film down the outside of the bathtub - when I questioned it, they quickly removed the film, but it should not have been there in the first place. There was little visual evidence that they had even done anything, either regarding the bathtub grout or the bathroom tile. I realize that one of the aspects of these coupons is to allow the vendor to "suggest" additional services (at an additional charge), but I fully expected the work quality to be 'much' higher (I declined their other offer to clean the adjacent bedroom carpet - so maybe they didn't feel they were getting enough out of the visit to do a quality job). It was my mother's condo, and she was leaving in two days and moving back East, so I didn't have the time then to devote to following up on this job.

At the beginning, there was a misunderstanding with scheduling, but once they came, they did a good job.

I scheduled for the deal, 3 areas for $60. Then the company offered a good price to include my couches and tile flooring. Although they cleaned everything, nothing smelled clean and fresh. The upstairs hallway had a section which was missed as well. The guys were kind and quick though.

Spent the begininning with me explaining costs and the small print of the deal. He charged additional for hallway and stairs of $89. When he was finished, it didn't look clean at all. We couldn't go upstairs to look at the rest because it was still wet. Later, when we did go up - it looked terrible and was not cleaned. He only did the traffic patterns and did not move any furniture. He was going to come out to look at it and fix it. He scheduled 3 times to come out and didn't show up anytime at all. Then, I never heard from him again. When I did call, to have him come out - he always had an excuse as to why he had to cancel. The last time, he was suppose to come on a Saturday - he didn't show up and never called.

This company had a very poor attitude from the beginning. They kept delaying the service. They told us they were going to come out and they never did.

Total salt of the earth folks. Pop and son showed up with their gear and took a look at the work that needed to be done. Although I bought a special ($69 bucks for 3 areas), they told me that my couch couldn't be included in that special because upholstery involved a slightly different process. They mentioned that on the phone consultation months prior to our actual appointment, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed. I mentioned that I needed my apartment hallway and living room rug cleaned before the arrival of my newborn. They pitched me a new deal: those two areas as well as my couch for $140. I didn't hate on the upsell, because with carpet cleaning, I get that it's the name of the game. I agreed and they dug in. I'm talking elbow grease to the max, sweat flying, and attacking that dirt and cat hair. And when they cleaned the couch, they flipped that bad boy every which way so they could get every surface of cushion and couch. They were in and out in just over an hour, handed me a receipt, and were on their way.

It went pretty good. We had to reschedule a couple of times because of miscommunications. Everything was my fault. They did a good job. They had good attitude. It was cheap. The communication was weird. They missed me a couple of times. The service was good. I would recommend them.

Provider never contacted me. I sent an email last week and I still have not heard from them!

POP & SON'S CAME OUT TO CLEAN MY BATHROOM TILE BUT I ENDED UP PURCHASING AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING IN MY HOME. I HAD 2 RUGS CLEANED AND MY KITCHEN FLOOR AND BATHROOM FLOOR CLEANED, ALONG WITH MY COUCHES ALL CLEANED A TOTAL OF 3 COUCHES AND1 CHAIR. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THERE WORK THAT I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT JOB !

First of all, I never heard from Father & Son's for almost a week. I called Angie's List to find out what happened. I was told to call the company directly & was given his phone number. I called the company & set an appointment for the following Wednesday between 10 and 1:00. The son, called on Wednesday to say what time he would be here & he was prompt. He started right away & cleaned the kitchen floor & gout. I was pleased. When he offered to clean the upholstery, I accepted. My furniture really needed to be replaced or reupholstered, so I thought even if he didn't get it completely cleaned, I would be satisfied. He was very pleasant, but it seemed he was in a big hurry to complete his task. When he went to leave, I said that he made a mess with spilled dirty water on my clean floors. My housekeeper had come the day before & cleaned all my laminate floors & polished them. He replied, no problem, I will clean it up. When he left, I looked at my floors & was so upset. My floors were filthy! I had to clean my floors all over again. He had sprayed or spilled dirty water everywhere, in my livingroom, diningroom, down my stairs and hallway all the way to the door. I followed the trail when he left & had to clean everywhere he had been. I would not recommend this company!

He could not clean the tile, however in trying to wash of the tile, someone, in manipulating the shower head, broke it off from the wall and flooded the basement. They cleaned the water from the basement with their rug cleaning equipment, and left. After they left I checked the shower and found the broken pipe, hanging from the wall, broken off from the pipe in the wall. It was obvious that broken connection was the cause of the water in the basement. On Monday the 13 of July I called Pop and Sons at 310 409 6728 and talked to John, he said he remembered that the water power was less the second time they turned it on, I told him what had happened and he set up an appointment to come to my house and see if he could fix the pipe. The appointment was for Wed the 15 of July ,between 4 and 5PM. He never arrived for the appointment. I called his office the next morning, no answer and I left a message, he never called back. I finally called a plumber on the 17th of July to repair the pipe, he came on the 17 and repaired the pipe for a cost of $105.00. July 20, 2015 I wrote Pop and Johns Carpet and Upholstry, 5959 Century Blvd,Los Angeles, CA 90066 a letter explaining the problem and situation. I enclosed a copy of the repair bill and their note to return the deposit of $49.00 from Angies List. The letter was just returned to me from the post office as undeliverable as address. I have done all I can to resolve this issue, so I am turning it over to Angies List to settle. I would like the $49.00 refunded and the plumbers bill of $105.00 reimbursed.

It went okay. At first I was told that the build up in the shower wouldn't come out and was grout but then another person in the crew jumped in and was able to remove it but getting in there with a tool. I had to point out the areas that still needed to be scraped. I don't think they were thinking this would be as tough a job as it was and for $49 I don't think they wanted to put too much else into it. For me, I didn't push too hard because of the price but I wish I didn't have to point out stuff that needed to be scraped.

Provider doesn't respond to any messages or inquiries via the Angie's list message center. Send multiple messages and never got a single reply.

John and team performed an excellent service and was very informative in explaining the carpet cleaning process they do.

Showed up when expected cleaned and sealed the grout in the shower. Even left me a close to a gallon of cleaning solution. Removed mildew from my shower that I couldn?t get off. Worth the time and money.
