Pieter was an expert in helping us choose the best color stain for our home. The floors look beautiful. His crew were skilled craftsmen who were careful in moving all of our furniture.

We recently discovered 1930's oak flooring under carpeting in our home. The adjoining hardwood floors were installed in the 80's, and so we needed a refinishing job that could make the two different floors flow together. This is what we achieved-- and even beyond our greatest hopes, thanks to Pieter and his crew. The original quote was reasonable, as were the additional repairs that we requested in another room. Pieter's workers were highly skilled, professional and respectful of our home and our space. Every night over four days, their equipment and supplies were stacked neatly in a corner and the area left clean. They are expert craftsmen in every way. We are thrilled with the results, and will be calling Pieter back when it's time to go on to the next room. Excellent!

Peter and his wood flooring crew was responsive and helped us finish the job. His carpet partner in OC was a disaster and quite frankly one of the worst I have ever worked with. I would recommend Peter and his team for wood flooring but but not for carpet especially through his partner in OC.

The crew arrived on time, worked quickly, and got all the work done in one day. All at a quite reasonable price. Now, I am a bit of a perfectionist. After the crew had left, I went back and checked out all their work carefully. I found fault with two of the ten holes that had been repaired (cracked wood, too much glue, or exposed nail heads). I called Pieter, and he sent the crew back the next day that I was available. They spent two hours re-doing the holes that didn't satisfy me, installing new hardwood that fit in almost seamlessly with the surrounding wood, all at NO EXTRA CHARGE. Pieter Rousseau (and his crew) knows how to keep his customers happy!

Pieter and his crew did a great job installing oak floors in the back two rooms of my home. They had to remove the old carpet and level out my floor. Pieter bent over backwards to get the finish they way I wanted it, making several trips over to apply different finishes in the closet as tests. He kept saying, "I want you to be happy" and he meant it. He even put in a couple of new wooden thresholds for me at no extra charge. He takes such pride in his work and it shows. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew and I would definitely use him again.

It amazes me how someone in business for so long can have such a bad attitude. I called Pieter on a Friday hoping to schedule a time for an estimate. He said he would call me on Monday. I didn't hear from him the whole week so I called again on the following Friday and he said to text him my address and what time I wanted. I requested Monday at 10am. He texted me back ?confirmed.? Monday came and at 10:15am he's nowhere in sight. I called him and he said he was stuck in traffic far from my location and has been trying to call me all morning but was dialing the wrong number (?). Hmmm, ok. Not sure why he didn't just check my text which was my cell number. He said he could be there around 2pm. He arrived at 2pm and there was no apology for missing the original time. He seemed to be bothered by estimate process and couldn't wait to leave. I told him I was interested in a recoat and maybe replacing a few boards. I told him I last had the floors sanded in 2011. He said why don't you call whoever did it before?? I said I was looking to get a few estimates. He then babbled often unable to connect his thoughts, If I did a job like this, I would be sued? The builders buy this wood in bulk and send it to China? I can do it for $1000 but for $1250 you can have it re-sanded but I'll give to you for $800," " Do you see these lines and gaps in your floors. Pieter and his crew did an excellent job renovating our old hardwood floors. They replaced about 1/3 of the wood and had to blend the new wood in with ith the old. At the end, you could not tell which areas had beed renewed and which had been replaced. The new wood was blended into the 30-year old wood seamlessly. Also, Pieter is kind, he is a man of his word, and he and his crew were very careful to clean up as they worked.

Pieter and his crew were excellent. They were very mindful of all of my possessions and did amazing prep and clean up work. The Crew showed up on time everyday and were able to complete the five rooms in four days.

Everyone on Pieter's team was professional, polite, and skilled.

Not the cheapest quote we got, but very responsive and professional so we went with them. The workers were all excellent. The price went up a bit from the original quote when we discovered we had to level the floor after demolishing the old tile, but they did an excellent job. The quality of the finished product is fantastic, and we've already used them again for flooring in an apartment unit.

The installer came on time, worked through the day and cleaned up excellently. He was pleasant and hardworking. I would absolutely use them again for any floor issue.

It went well. The price was very competitive. I've been very happy with the floors. There's a few spots where my dog has had an accident but I'm not sure if it was the coating or my dog, but I might call them about it.

These guys are great.I called them and the next day they showed up and gave me a quote and the following day they started the job I really needed it done quick due to a baby coming. They did a great job and showed up on time

The work done was GREAT!!!! Pieter came and provided an estimate with less than 24 hour notice since we had limited access to the home. He started the work as soon as we got the keys to the house and was done two days ahead of schedule. He did an AMAZING job refinishing the edgework and replacing the baseboards and molding - frankly it looks like it was never touched, and had I not seen it removed, I wouldn't believe it! He also fixed the subfloor, and did not charge us extra for that. He took out the laminate (that was never lived with) in a way so that we could sell it since it is essentially brand new, and stored it nicely in the garage. I loved the process so much, I kind of want to re-do some more flooring!

Can't say enough good things. 100% satisfied!! Pieter was punctual & professional. He and his crews are 100% business. He was super flexible with his schedule to accommodate the inconsistencies of other crews I had. His follow-through is very professional. He came back to touch up places even after having been paid in full. He and his crews went above and beyond the original work. He actively sought out areas that he could provide services. He's the refreshing opposite of the typical shady, nickel-and-dime'ing contractor. He makes his money by working hard, smart and fair.

Pieter was incredibly easy to work with. He quoted me 7 days to finish the job and finished in 5. The floors turned out better than I could have hoped for, they are like night and day. His crew were cool dudes too.

We learned he required $1000 minimum to come out. Since our job was a repair job only, and likely much less than $1000, he said we should try someone else. I'm putting this in a review to make sure others are aware of this before calling, as some of the reviews show work done for less than $1000.

Excellent job with reasonable price

We love our new floors. Pieter and his crew did a fantastic job. They were on time, clean, and the craftsmanship is incredible. The crew always cleaned up after they worked and the job was finished on time as promised. I will definitely use him again.

It was wonderful. Pieter had me text him a picture of the damage ahead of time, and he was able to come to me on a Saturday. He took a look at the damage, and gave me the most honest advice: that I actually didn't need his services. I would go back to Pieter in a heartbeat for when I do need wood flooring repair - such an honest businessman is worth coming back to!

They polished/refinished existing old oak hardwood floors and then perfectly matched them in our expanded kitchen and dining area. Amazing job that turned out so much better than we thought was even possible. They also worked on our strict timetable and got the floors done before the arrival of our baby. Thanks so much!

Pieter showed up to check out the space, and see what needed to be cleaned and removed before our new laminate could go in. He gave us a quote and came back two days later to do the job (floors need to acclimate you know). The work was completed extremely fast, I left in the morning to run errands and when I came back in the afternoon they were almost done. Very happy with the work, the floor looks amazing. As a side note, there used to be parquet in the house which we thought was destroyed so we removed it ourselves, but he looked at the old tiles and said he could have fixed it! And from the reviews here, I totally believe it. I think we still have parquet under the carpet in the bedrooms so I will probably have him come redo that in the future.

Pieter is amazing. Our 1926 floors look brand new. Couldn't ask for a more professional crew. Arrived on time, finished on time, and went the extra mile to do work that wasn't originally contemplated. THE BEST!
