Pestcal Exterminators

I wish they had a 10 rating. PLEASE read this before you choose a pest control company. I had a little problem with mice. Now the mice weren't in the attic or foundation, but one of my cute little kitties was bringing them in as gifts for me. Four within a matter of minutes. All alive!!!! I always pick 3 companies when I need something done. I had two come out and Pestcal was the third. Now, you have to understand, unfortunately, when many contractors come to the house and see a little old lady, they think they can take advantage of her. The first company that come out, and they have great ratings here, told me I had rats in the attic, that there were droppings every- where in my house and that the job would cost $6,000. The second company came out and I was told the attic was fine, no problems up there but I had several areas in the foundation that needed fixing. To do the whole job would be $2,500. Then came the third company, Pestcal. Norman was great!! He actually checked the attic, not just poked his head in....no problem up there. Then he checked the perimeter outside...couldn't find any issues out there either. He said there were a couple of areas that could use some attention, but nothing major. Maybe a couple of hundred dollars. FINALLY, AN HONEST COMPANY!!!! Their priority is doing the right thing for the customer. This is the kind of company you want to hire for any work you need done at your home. I'm not going to name the other companies for several reasons, but I don't think Yelp allows that. I just want to reassure you that this is a legitimate review. As you can see by the other reviews the customers are extremely happy with Pestcal.

Kevin and his son came out to our house within an hour of our call (at 9:00 at night) to remove a raccoon that had decided to live in our ceiling. This was a bit of an emergency, as the raccoon had apparently been peeing and pooping up there for a while and part of the ceiling gave way! In fact, we knew it was a raccoon because it decided to peek out of the hole at us! Creepy! Kevin was a total pro and had the situation under control in about a half hour. What a relief! He is a cool guy and should be on a reality TV show!

The workmen were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional.

Kevin and his staff were, all, professional, informative, PROMPT and very friendly. They guided me through the processes involved and delivered. It's quite rare to have the business owner present, but Kevin is hands-on. While it can take time to recognize the effectiveness of the treatments, I am, extremely, confident they will back-up their work, if needed. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

Edgar and Kevin came out within hours of my call, as I had found rodent droppings falling from my A/C vent, to inspect and grade the infestation. They did not have a rodent bait trap in the van which was a bit annoying, but came back the next day to put it on the roof. Then they discovered damage caused by a raccoon and offered to repair and close the hole, which opened up into the air vent.The fee of $200.00 seemed high for this repair, but the peace of mind was worth it. Edgar was extremely informative about rats and their habits. I bought a two months package of inspection just to be safe - but the problem was eliminated immediately the hole was sealed up . I recommended this company the next day to a friend of mine with a mice problem!
