I didn't use him. I don't think he was knowledgeable. I was very surprised. He had done work for us in the past. He was just not knowledgeable when he installed it. I think he installed it not looking at the directions and just thinking, "Okay. I'm a plumber. I know how to install a sink." It's a sink that doesn't have a hot and a cold. It's got the one in the middle that you turn to the right or to the left. Because of the way this was actually set up, it was really not a East-West going direction. It was more of a North and South. He connected it East-West, not realizing it was a North-South. Cold is always on the right and the hot is on the left. It was reversed. We had to call the faucet company and see if it was okay. It was not a major deal, I found out. All he had to do was just switch the hot line to cold and cold line to hot. But, he should have seen that. He was arguing, "No. This is the way it should be done." It was like it was their fault. I said, "No. Look at the directions. Look at how it's pictured on the box. It's a North-South handle." Anyway, it just wasn't installed properly. It was okay. We were used to it. But, it became loose. I called him out and he just said, "I don't have time to fix it right now. I'll get back to you." He never got back to us. He also came out and cleaned a drain. I thought he was exorbitant.
Description of Work: It was really more of a repair on a job that he had done in the past. He had replaced the faucet portion of the sink and installed it improperly. It just was coming loose.

Description of Work: Came at last-minute on a Sunday to clear a backed-up drain in basement. Snaked it a couple times until it cleared. He was extremely respectful of my things, trying to keep "grime" to a minimum. Very pleasant and had good advice about clogs. I might add that I paid quite a bit more to another company the weekend before when the drain first presented a problem. Highly recommend Mrs. Rooters.

He is extremely honest and professional. He is the most trustworthy plumber I have ever used and I will continue to use him for all of my plumbing needs. This man is really an ethical plumber...which is hard to find.
Description of Work: We had roots in the mainline sewer system pipes and it caused the sewer system to overflow. He came out...cleaned it, reamed it and put a ton of "root kill" or something like that in there to make sure it didn't happen again.

Mrs. Rooter’s / Cleveland Morris is an honest plumber as I had him come out to the house in early 2012 when someone told me I needed to replace all the pipes under our house for a cost of $3,500. Mr. Morris went under the house and examined everything and said my pipes were fine and did not need to be replaced...I asked him at that time how much I owed him and he said nothing as he hadn't done any work. A few months back (May 2013) I called a few plumbers to see who could come out the soonest to look at and replace a leaking potable water tank over my hot water tank. Ritz Plumbing (on La Brea) was the first to get back to me. Two “so called” plumbers came out that same day and gave me a ludicrous estimate of $2,850.00 to replace the potable water expansion tank, install a new water heater circulation pump, install a gas shut off valve and two flex lines/hoses. Mrs.Rooter’s called me back later that day and said they would come out the following day. They replaced the tank the next day which was a Saturday at a cost of $215.00…nothing else was needed as my circulation pump was working fine, I had an operative gas shut off valve (Ritz led me to believe I didn’t even have one). Also, my flex line hoses were working fine and did not need replacing. Read my in depth review of Ritz Plumbing for more information. If you want an honest licensed plumber in the Los Angeles area I highly suggest and personally recommend Mrs. Rooter’s and Cleveland Morris…their work and prices are the best. Description of Work: Removed my leaking expansion tank (over my 75 gallon hot water) and installed a new one.
