+ 0 moreIn October 2012, after we had new roofs and gutters installed on the house and garage, the Mike Sumner Painting Co crew sanded and painted the newly installed eaves, the remaining exterior wood work, window frames and sills, the front and back porches and steps. In addition, part of the stucco of the garage and house walls was repainted. They also removed some of the old gutter parts that had remained behind from a previous job. In January 2013, the Mike Sumner Painting Co returned to repaint our living and dining rooms and also added some trim just below the ceiling of the living room, totally changing the and quot;tunneland quot; effect the ceiling used to have on us. Both jobs were executed with the greatest of care by an obviously very experienced crew! Protection of the furniture and fixtures in the rooms was outstanding and excellent daily clean-up was part of the routine! We couldn't be more pleased with the results and will happily recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional painting job.
Description of Work: Mike Sumner Painting Co. did two jobs for us. One extensive exterior painting job in October, 2012 and one interior job in January, 2013.

I had them paint the house I sold and the house I moved to.They are always professional and on time, and finished in time for my move-in date. They go the extra mile. The paintthey use is top quality. Mike's painters are very talented craftmen, not just hired hands.

Description of Work: I had already received two estimates for interior painting (TV room, hallway and main bathroom) and got Mike's contact information from a friend. Mike showed up and gave me an estimate for the work, which turned out to be less than the other estimates. In addition, Mike's estimate included more prep work (sanding, removal of all door knobs, light fixtures, etc.) Mike's crew showed up on time on Day 1 and immediately began the prep work. They sanded areas where I didn't think they would sand, they took down all light fixtures, removed all door knobs, covered areas of the house to ensure that dust was contained and really showed a lot of care and attention to detail. On Day 2 they began to prime all the walls to be painted and they began painting all the ceilings. On Day 3 they began painting all of the rooms to be painted and when they were finished they began putting all light fixtures and door knobs back on. The work was excellent and Mike's crew were great. On time, clean, professional and knowledgeable about the work to be done. Excellent work! Highly recommend!

+ -1 moreThe whole job took about three days and they had several rooms to do. Their work was exceptional. Everything they said they would do in the estimate, they did.
Description of Work: We had the interior of our home painted that included several rooms. Mike is excellent at giving advice about colors if you need that assistance. His group was amazingly fast , thorough and extremely clean. They made sure that everything was cleaned up before they left for the day and were extremely professional. We are going to have some additional painting done in the coming year and plan to call Mike and his group again. We have recommended them to friends without reservation.

+ -1 moreMike and his crew came in and fixed a botched paint job done on our brand new custom kitchen cabinets. We wanted sprayed water base paint and the first guy didn't do a job worthy of the quality of our cabinets. Mike saw how meticulous we were about this and stopped by every day of the job to make sure his crew was doing a job both he and we were happy with. His professionalism and customer savvy really shined through. The cabinets came out beautiful and we look foreword to getting an estimate from him to do the outside of our house this fall.

+ -1 moreTHEY JUST CAME OUT, AND WE PICKED OUT THE PAINT COLORS. HE WENT AND BOUGHT THE PAINT. HE HAD HIS GUYS COME IN, AND THEY PAINTED. IT WAS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THEY WERE FINE. THEY PUT EVERYTHING BACK. THEY DO ANYTHING YOU ASK.
