Description of Work: I asked for a move in, deep clean. The house was completely empty and prepared for such a service. The service provided was fine if it was a bi-weekly cleaning. I expected a higher level of sanitizing in the kitchen and bathroom. The pace of the cleaners was timed to be within the four hours quoted. Again, I would have been satisfied if it was a regular cleaning. The oven was already clean and yet the broiler was left with cobwebs and crumbs. Some of the cabinets were not cleaned properly. These are just some examples. Again the work done was fine, not dissapointing enough to complain, but enough to look elsewhere next time.

Description of Work: The cleaning service was dealing with my tenant. We had some construction work and they were to clean off the dust on furniture, etc. Except her home was a bit dirty and it would have taken them much longer to do a cleaning that I think my tenant was expecting but I was not expecting to pay for. So because I was not able to be there and supervise, it didn't go ask well as expected. But I don't blame the cleaning service for that. I recommend if you book cleaning at a tenants, be present when they clean.

+ -1 moreThey were efficient, and did a good job. They were friendly and arrived on time. I should have hired them for more time however because I ended up doing some of the cleaning myself after their hours were up. That's on me though and next time I will buy more hours. They were expensive but I needed someone in a hurry and they definitely came through. I will keep them on my list for sure.

+ -1 moreAfter reading a positive review of the Pasadena Merry Maids I called and was directed to the MM in my area. They charged $90 per hour, and expected it to take 2 hours, with a maximum of 4 hours. When I inspected the house after they were done, they completely missed two closets (caked dust on the floor). They didn't dust the windowsills, and didn't even go into the laundry room at all. The kitchen floor still had dirt on it that I could wipe up with my finger. When I called the office I was informed that it had been inspected by a supervisor after the crew left, and passed. They also told me that I was charged for the full 4 hours ($360). When I objected to the service and price, they said they would send a collection agency after me if I tried to dispute the charge on my credit card, and there was nothing they could do to help me. I asked to speak to the owner, and was told he lived in Hong Kong and could not be reached. It was a horrible experience - almost qualifying as a scam. I then had to pay another service to come in and clean properly.
Description of Work: We are moving into a new house, and I wanted to get it cleaned the week before. The house is 1,200 square feet, 1 bathroom, and it was completely empty. Also there were no appliances in the kitchen, and both bedrooms were having new floors put in, so they didn't need to clean the floors. I hired Merry Maids to do a full cleaning of the house - specifically focusing on the windowsills, baseboards, and kitchen.

Description of Work: THEY CAME IN AND CLEANED MY HOUSE. THEY DID THE SWEEPING AND MOPPING OF THE KITCHEN FLOOR, BATHROOMS, AND ENTRYWAY. THEY VACUUMED AND DUSTED MY WHOLE HOUSE, AND ALSO GOT COBWEBS DOWN FROM MY CATHEDRAL CEILINGS.
