Lumber Liquidators - Los Angeles

One person came in and did the whole thing, i couldn't believe it. They came in, poured out the old garage door and put in the new one, made sure i had the necessary parts and told me i don't need the bigger mortar. I said great, you saved me a huge a lot of money. They are experienced, they are authorized.

The cork laminate flooring I purchased installed well and looked good initially, after just a few weeks the joints started to open up and develop raised edges that looked really bad. Of the original 13 boxes (23 sq ft per box) that I purchased 6 were still unopened and returned to the store for a refund, and I was told by John with customer service that a warranty claim had to be filed for the 7 boxes that had been installed, and they requested samples. Getting samples of what had been installed meant pulling up everything, John said that was fine and to take it all back to the store where I got it. Everything was returned to the store and they said they would get the samples sent for evaluation, at their request I also sent several pictures of the installed flooring showing the bad joints. After a couple of months with no response I contacted John again and only then was I informed that the claim had been denied as they did not find anything wrong with the flooring samples, he also stated that the pictures did not make any difference for the claim and that it was all based on company evaluation of the samples, and that they would do nothing more. So there is a remainder refund of $535.06 that they have denied while all of the product from the original purchase has been returned per their agreement.

The hardwood floor installation was lousy. When the CONTRACTOR HIGH TECH FLOORS lifted the toilets to install the flooring they made leaks. The floor lifted! The contractor DAVID GREENE came and recommended he take the wood away, look through it and bring back usable pieces. Well, it's been months!! HIGH TECH FLOORS AND DAVID GREENE STOLE OUR WOOD!!! And Lumber Liquidators apparently has no control over their contractors. BEWARE!! Then Mr. Greene cut communication and will not return our calls.

the independent contractor fm lumber liquidators came and reseamed the carpet he had cut out to test for flooring.......he did a fine job....after a year.

Lumber Liquidators came out and did a free in-home estimate. The only thing I wish I would have known, they actually work for 3rd party contractors. I felt the materials were reasonable but the labor itself was ridiculous.

I was very pleased with those guys; they were really upfront in the cost. It was a good experience and I was very pleased with the Ventura store. I really did not have any problems and their price was excellent. They were very responsive; I got the job initiated and done within two weeks.

I had two companies come out to give estimates to have new flooring installed. The representative from Lumber Liquidators was knowledgeable and personable. Based solely on the representatives from the two companies, I would have gone with Lumber Liquidators. I informed him that we were on a quick timetable and he said he would get us the estimate by the end of the day. By the next afternoon I still had not received it. I called him and he said that I would have it by the end of the day. We needed to make our decision that evening, and we still had not received the estimate. By the time we received the estimate from Lumber Liquidators on the second day, Empire Today was already on site installing the floors. The price from Empire turned out to be better as well.

It wasn't the product that was bad, it was the advice I was given. They told me to float the flooring and to just glue the edges rather than glue the underlayment to the entire floor. As a result of their advice, all of my floor has buckled.
