LNR Electric

Hugo came out to do an estimate. He was great. On time, gave us an estimate for the job and gave a quote if he ran into any issues (though he didn't foresee any). He came out the following week and did the job. He was on time and the job was the original estimate with no issues. We would use him again any chance we get.

I initially called LNR Electric and Hugo Reyes to have a ceiling fixture in my kitchen replaced. When Hugo arrived, I asked if he also did electrical circuit panel upgrades. He said he did and gave me a fair estimate. He upgraded the box to a 100 amp service (I think I might have had 40 amps as my house was built in 1952) and also provided two new circuits. He took care of getting the permits and met with DWP at my home when they came to approve the work. Hugo and his crew arrived right on time, got to work and finished the job in a matter of hours (and left no mess). I am extremely happy with Hugo’s knowledge of what needed to be done and the efficient manner in which they carried out the job. I was concerned that there might be damage to my newly stuccoed and painted house, but he assured me there wouldn’t be and he was absolutely right. They did a beautiful job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LNR for any electrical services you may need. I have already recommended him to my daughter and several friends. I will always use this company in the future for any electrical work I need done. I should also mention that since my initial job was small, not many electricians were willing to come out for the job--they returned my calls but then proceeded to give me crazy amounts they would charge just to come and see what the problem was. I was truly appreciative of the fact that Hugo never hesitated to say he would come out (even though my initial job was small) and in the end he got two jobs—upgrading my electrical panel and installing two ceiling light fixtures.

Hugo and his brother were great. After moving into a new home it was apparent that the previous owner had done a lot of the improvements himself and left many things half done or done half assed...lol Anyways Hugo was able to complete any work that was left unfinished and spot and coorect a handful of items that were actually hazards that were not caught in the purchase inspections. I really enjoyed having Hugo do the work at my home and because I spent a lot of time shadowing him while he worked I was also able to get a valuable education. I feel comfortable recommending Hugo and LNR Electrical to anyone with residential or commercial electrical needs. Thanks Hugo!

Hugo is fantastic! We were interested in recessed lighting for our living room and he had great suggestions (even came by one week before to see the layout before making any recommendations). As a result of his suggestions, the room looks amazing. Hugo and his team were professional, on-time and the price was very reasonable considering the value of the work that was done. We will definitely recommend LNR Electric to friends and couldn't be happier with the lighting in our room. We really underestimated how amazing proper lighting is and without Hugo we definitely would not have selected the best layout for the lights in the room.

I got the information about LNR electric on Angie's list and selected it because of the good reports and because of the proximity to our house. I called on 12/12 at 8 am and in 30 minutes Hugo was here to give us an estimate (His business is close by and he was on his way to a job in Santa Monica). We agreed on the price and scope of the work to be done. We were thinking about a timer for the back yard light but Hugo suggested a photo cell as a cheaper and easier to install alternative. On 12/15/2011, Hugo got here right on time (8am) with a helper and performed the three jobs in less than 2 hours (as he had estimated). The problem with the kitchen light was that we were using the wrong bulb (it should be 10 V. and we were using 120V. )Hugo had the right bulb with himand the $8 were added to the original estimate.

We had used LNR Electric a few years ago when we needed to have another house totally rewired. Hugo and his team did such a great job with that project, that we called him out again for this one. Hugo came out and gave us an estimate which was reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to get done. He showed up on time to work on our house and the job was completed within the timeframe given. Hugo and his team were very professional and cleaned up after the job was done. We will definitely use him in the future.
